Campisi’s in Plano has been serving up Italian dishes and award-winning pizzas since 1946. Back then pizza may have been popular in places like New York, but in Texas not so much. In fact, Campisi’s was the first pizzeria in all of Texas when the first location was opened in Dallas. Campisi’s in Plano continues that rich history of being a forerunner yet keeps tradition alive by staying true to authentic pizza as well as adding some specialty options. A unique feature at Campisi’s is the ability to order your pizza as a “take and bake” leaving you to bake it yourself at home. There are also plenty of Italian dishes to choose from.
