This was our families first time to ever eat out for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. We made the best choice with Campfire at the Stella. The staff/servers went above and beyond to make sure we were happy the entire time. We will definitely drive the distance again to eat there on a normal day.

Came to Aggieland to spend time with our son and see the game. Campfire was an excellent choice for dinner. Wonderful ambience, quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and engaged. Food and drinks were great. Will certainly return again.

Ate here two times during a recent stay at the Stella and had cocktails twice. All times were exceptional. Great service, fabulous food and drink. I especially recommend the biscuits on the breakfast menu and the salmon brunch dish. Paola and Connor were both excellent servers and the bartenders were all great.

Jordan served us and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu as well as suggestions for wine and bar drinks. The chef came by our table and was very charming and humble. The manager also stopped by our table and was interested in feedback and comments. When we got to the restaurant there weren’t many people there but by the time we left it was packed. Would definitely recommend as well as return.

Very nice restaurant at The Stella Hotel. We enjoyed short ribs, grilled pork chop, and a gulf shrimp dish. Added 3 excellent desserts to share. Banana Foster Bread Pudding is a must. All were very good. Excellent service and attention to detail.

Second trip to Campfire and it was excellent once again. Was disappointed that the chicken fried ribeye was off the menu but everything that the whole table ordered was very good. Steaks, salmon, snapper, ribs, pork chop were all excellent. Jason was an excellent server - patient and accommodating with a rowdy, large group. Also, cocktails were top notch. Highly recommend!!!

Our waiter was terrific however the kitchen was very backed up. 2 hours to get our food. Entrees came before the appetizers.

Salads were great. Both dinners were WAY TOO SALTY! I understand that chefs must over-flavor food because typical diners deaden or numb their taste buds with alcohol. Bananas Foster Bread Pudding dessert is "to die for!" Best we have EVER had. Please, please hold off on the salt.

Stayed at the Stella last night August 19. Met our college kids for brunch this morning at the hotel restaurant. Arrived to a mostly empty restaurant and the hostess did not want to seat us until our whole party was there. There were many available tables. We were annoyed since the restaurant was empty and our kids were near. We just wanted to get settled at the table with coffee before they arrived. She did relent to seat us but seemed super annoyed with our request. I am sure she was following the policy, but she needs to use better judgement after I told her we were hotel guests coming down to get our morning coffee. It took a long time before any server came to our table. The service was pretty slow, but the server was nice and did a great job. The food was good. This is a nice upscale area away from the hustle and bustle of campus, so we were a little disappointed in the hostess attitude. With so many places in town, not sure if we will give them another try.

Our server Jordan was excellent. My salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Also loved the grilled Brussel sprouts . Had the cheesecake for dessert, and it was a great ending Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in College Station, TX

Unfortunately we waited over 2 hours for our meal. They also brought food out to some of us a full 30 minutes before the others. We also had to wait 30-45 minutes for each drink ordered. The food, however, was fantastic

Excellent service from Jason. Okay ambiance. Nothing special. Very good "Texas" cesear salad. Meatballs were rather dry and stringy. BBQ sauce was excellent. Nice kick.

The Mother's Day Experience High Tea was fantastic. Really enjoyed the varied selections. Everything was tasty. Especially liked the crab legs (just needed to have some utensils to help get them open). We arrived at 1:15pm with the last seating at 2pm and never felt we were just getting the left overs.

The food was overpriced for the portion size and the actual taste. Our waitress acted as if she was bothered to serve us (we had no special requests) and they charged me for a kids meal that my kid took a bite of and didn’t like because of the bun being hard and the meat was undercooked (she ordered kids sliders). I had to ask her about taking it off once we got the bill and she rolled her eyes and said “FINE!” Unprofessional and not friendly at all.

The brussels sprouts appetizer and my husband's snapper were good, but the "Dr. Pepper BBQ Glazed Baby Back Ribs" were very tough and were not even baby back ribs - they were pork back ribs. Service was very slow and there was confusion over using a gift card my husband purchased earlier for the meal. We won't go back.
