Hike, don't walk, to this destination culinary campground in the depths of Menlo Park. We loved the BEST GREEN SALAD EVER as well as a savory crab pasta and perfectly cooked halibut. Be sure to finish off with the Milk Jam and a cocktail. As a bonus, dine at the bar and enjoy Mixologist Alexis' incredible creations - especially the "PEAS MAKER" with Gin, Sugar Snap Peas, Italicus, Lemon, Honey, Orange Flower Water. She knows what she is doing!! And be sure to say "hi" to Chef/Owner Greg Kuzia-Carmel AKA Head Ranger. His passion for his work is infectious and we need more folks like him in the biz..... d&c

Been here multiple times and Camper is exceptional!! Service is stellar, drink options are plenty and you cannot go wrong with neerly anything on the menu. Portion sizes are correct as well and definitely save room for the dessert.

As we stepped into the cozy establishment, we were met with a rather abrupt “Can I help you?” A warm “Welcome, do you have reservations this evening?” would have certainly set a more inviting tone. However, any initial chill quickly melted away thanks to the incredible service we received from Garrett. He took the time to share his knowledge about the dishes we were curious about, and let me tell you, he wasn’t exaggerating! Every single dish we ordered was nothing short of spectacular—full of flavor and served with an artistic touch. My husband savored the Wagyu burger, while I relished each mouthful of the halibut. Before diving into the main courses, we indulged in a couple of delightful appetizers, and we couldn’t resist ending our meal with the almond cake topped with cherries. It was utterly divine! Best of all, we live just a short walk away and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great variety of creative cuisine- nothing too extravagant, rather simple twists on common dishes that make for tasty food. House made pasta is special find. Portions good- price a little $ for what the dishes were- nice ambiance & service.
