We had a great meal with superb service. The beet salad was delicious. I appreciate that vegan and gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu.

Dinner to celebrate birthday. The fall menu is great. Scallop dish was really tasty! Short rib excellent as always. Tuna poke tostados are my favorite appetizer

The wait staff are amazing. They are customer focused and correct Immediately any mistakes that happen- as did with our order. The ambience is nice but has a slightly rustic feel to it. The food is amazing - the best in Rochester. This place tops Pescara in service and food and price, tips Five West widely in all categories and I noticed a wide range of diners. It appeals to all 25-70 year old diners.

The food choices are wide and appeal to a variety of interests and / or palates. The price is very reasonable for a five star restaurant. No minor detail has been overlooked in the layout, food presentation and the facility.

Let me repeat one compliment again: The server we had was exceptional, Pleasant and Respectful. She had a broad knowledge of the food, the sourcing and what went well with what. She also seemed to truly enjoy her job which is rare in the service and hospitality industry.

Kudos to the owners and Chefs for creating an exceptional product.

This was my first time having dinner at Cameo. It did not disappoint. Good service, good food, great ambiance.

The food was really quite delicious. Perhaps slightly overpriced but not by much. I've dined in really nice restaurants before and paid similar prices. So I really wasn't that surprised when the bill came. But if you're looking for a higher-end restaurant in the Rochester area, then I would definitely recommend it.

At Cameo for lunch, great sandwiches, comfortable and welcoming environment, great service! We are never disappointed here!

had the 7 course tasting with wine. it was perhaps the best meal i have ever had. the wine matched perfectly and the service from our server Ben, chef Mike and sommelier Kiefer was beyond excellent. would highly recommend going eating and enjoying ! thanks to all of you !

Excellent food and the music volume was perfect! We could carry on a conversation. Plenty of light also......things that are important to my elderly mother and make the whole dining experience for the entire party a good one!

My husband and I chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Everything was amazing! Cheri was our server, and she was fantastic. I would not change a thing about the whole experience. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I would go here again in a heartbeat! If you’re debating trying this place, go today!

Everything was good and the hostess honored my request through open table for a booth without my asking. It worked!
Our server’s name was Phillip Riley and he was exceptional! He was courteous, knowledgeable, attentive, but not not overbearing. He drew the right line between hovering and absent. Later, when engaged, he was a delightful conversationalist and even complimented his team members at Cameo. He’s a keeper!

Celebrated my mothers 98th Birthday here. Food was very good and the service was excellent.

We brought our foodie friends from the Bay Area here while they were visiting MN and our table enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings. It was really a fun experience, tho having had a few other meals here I think I would prefer to each order what we want and just share bites. Still, they loved it and all the dishes were really good. I really appreciate the thoughtful wine list too.

Cherrie provided excellent service. Kiefer gave great wine advice. We did the 5 course dinner and the portions were just right and very tasty.

After reading the reviews I had higher expectations for Cameo. In the end, it was just fine. But nothing to write home about.

It was Sunday brunch, but the live music was much too loud. Conversation was not really possible. Nor was the music that great. It was supposed to be a Beatles medley, but only one piece was truly recognizable.

Great spot. Excellent food and service. Recommend.

This was not my first visit to Cameo, but it was my best. I really like this place and it makes an excellent addition to Rochester, a town which is starved for good restaurants. My personal favorite (and apparently of most people who go there) is their Korean Fried Chicken sandwich. Just an excellent sandwich and only $10. We also had the beef lettuce wraps as an appetizer and they were wonderful. Also, finally a place that realizes that Cruzan rum totally rocks!

Big hits for us: surf and turf, short rib, filet bruschetta, gouda potatoes, wild rice soup, bread pudding, strawberry shortcake. Misses; lemon gnocchi, wedge salad. We had a great time, spent it leisurely and enjoyed both food and company.

The watermelon salad was amazing and we all loved the wild rice soup. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service with fantastic food and drink

Our first time to Cameo. Staff is very attentive and food very good. Priced appropriately. Our anniversary and we had another restaurant in mind. We wanted to bring in one of our good wines and corkage was reasonable ($15 vs $25 at another steakhouse).
