Always a great visit to Camelot, Mauro is the best waiter in Vegas, always a good time.
Great steaks and cheesecake to die for
Excellent service, highly recommend one of the best restaurant in Vegas
Went with my wife for our anniversary. We both ordered rare plus ribeye's (should be red throughout- warm center) , one came out a good medium rare (mainly pink). The other came out medium rare to medium, I sent it back and asked for rare instead. Both stakes had no flavor, salt & pepper goes along way and doesn't over power... but there was no seasoning on the steaks. These were $41 each, so we were disappointed with the lack of flavor and them being over cooked. Annoyed when the waiter came out and asked "it wasn't rare enough? "... no, if it's dense and pink inside... that is not rare. Waiter was very nice and attentive throughout the meal though.
We got the pork belly with Jack Daniels sauce for an appetizer, that was very tender and delicious.
Our bread was luke warm...
Sides we choose were brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. I loved the brussel sprouts, they were roasted or steamed. I did need to add a little pepper, but did enjoy the light taste and the little crisp that they had. Macaroni and cheese was okay, nothing special about it.
We ordered a creme brulee that was very good and were also given a slice of cheesecake for our anniversary, that was good also. Creamy and fresh. Didn't care for the sauce, but that is because I don't like raspberry.
I don't think I would go back. My drink, appetizer, one side, and dessert were good. So if I did return, it would be at their bar for drinks and appetizer.
Very nice meal, able to had a conversation with business partners
Ambience felt like a cafeteria. Not what you expect in a $400 dinner for 4. The waiter came by once only at the end of our meal and had erroneous charges on our receipt. It took a additional 30 minutes to get their mistakes straight and by the end my party was fed up and late for our show. Skip this restaurant and go to Buca di Beppo.
Food was not worth the money. the food was just ok
This steakhouse left a good impression. From the service, to the actual food, everything was great. I ordered the 16oz ribeye cooked medium and what I got was a very generous steak cooked perfectly. I asked for their house peppercorn sauce on the side, and although I’m not one to add sauces to steaks, their peppercorn sauce is delicious and I ended up constantly dipping the steak and an order of mushrooms in it. For dessert I had the creme brulle and it was decent with good flavor.
Overall I had a great dinner.
Nice atmosphere and our food was tasty. The breadsticks we ate while waiting for our food were delish! I ordered a filet medium and it came medium well. It still tasted wonderful so I didn’t mind! My son ordered the NY Strip medium and it was plenty pink and he was happy with it.
If you are looking for a fancy steakhouse with stellar wait staff, this isn’t it. The staff was slow to attend to the table, I.e. take our order timely, refill wine, etc. I would eat here again but not expect high level dining experience.
Great food, excellent service.
The waiter was inattentive. He took care of others before checking on us. Another table that was sat after is received their food first. It was almost like he didn’t want to be our waiter. It was just my girlfriend and myself. I had flown her up for our two year anniversary. The steak I had was over cooked and wasn’t all that great. I was here 5+ years ago and it was a pretty good place to eat. I was VERY disappointed in the service and the food.
Nothing from the bread to the desert stood out as a must do again. The choice in bread screamed Italian family style, not Steak House fine dining. I was very disappointed in the French Onion soup. So much so I would tell everyone to pass! It was likely the worst I have ever had and I have had many. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were ok, but again not noteworthy. For the price the Ribeye steak was a good cut, cooked as ordered. But I have to say it did look better than it was...but in fairness again, the price was equal to the quality. Desert selection was meh...the selections and the creme brule, which we had, really said Vegas buffet rather than Steak House fine dining. The service was good, but final result is this was a first time visit and would not repeat.
The wait staff was attentive to my short time schedule. The food was excellent!
It was great except for a very loud group of people, other then that awesome.
Camelot is another gem on the Las Vegas strip. I always talk to long time visitors to Vegas and Camelot is often mentioned, more than other steakhouses. You can get a full meal here for under $70 which includes steak and sides and dessert.
You must try it because not many other steakhouse provide the service and clue that Camelot has to offer.
Never crowded, great service and myvegas comps are available.
Waiter was not good. Took to long to do anything for us. The lady that assisted the restaurant water and non alcoholic drinks did more for our table then the waiter. Other staff members served us our food as our waiter was no where in site. Steaks not that great, nod no flavor at all. I will not go back.
The time to be seated was prompt. I felt a bit of lack of attention from the staff in regards to being only couple seated at a small table. Food was decent.
Great over all meal. We had three appetizers that were killer and the steaks and chops were out of this world. The Executive Chef (Matt S) came to our table and made us feel at home. Great time was had by all.
Lobster bisque was extremely good. Steak and sides were average for the price
The grilled salmon was one of the best I've had....everything was great. The convenience of a real nice steak house without leaving the hotel was awesome
The food was absolutely fantastic!!! Our waitress was funny and friendly! We had a great time!
The food is seriously lacking in any flavor. Glad we had a Mlife reward and didn’t pay full price for our meal. It wasn’t worth it, even with the discount.
Our server was great. Very kind and polite.
Food a bit pricey...but it was very good none the less. Rib eye was well seasoned and tender. Would still return.
Food was good value for the price. Not unhappy but not 5 star.
Greg was to be my waiter. I sat for 15 minutes before Greg came to say hi and see if I wanted a beverage before dinner. I had an average Old Fashion that was overpriced. My New York steak had little flavor but the peppercorn sauce was a nice addition.
My husband and I went for our anniversary/vow renewal , I order a ribeye steak medium and my husband also ordered a Ribeye medium rare. When our food came out they brought me prime rib, I told them I ordered a Ribeye not prime rib so the lady who brought it out said oh just eat your baked potato for now and we can make a new steak. I told her no I dont want to eat my potato and wait for another steak and my husband and I like to eat together. I told her just leave it , Im not a fan of prime rib and we had tickets to a show to go to. Our waiter comes over and insisted I ordered prime rib. I told him 3 times that I ordered Ribeye, I know what I said. I was very disappointed with dinner and you think that they would have taken some money off for the inconvenience. Will not eat there again. Waiter should not challenge a customer, just apoligize that you made a mistake.
One of the better lobster bisque's in Las Vegas! The crab cakes were also quite good!
Restaurant was closed. We were not notified of the closure.
We were looking forward to a great dining experience.
Great as always, great food and great service , be sure to ask for Mauro.
Food was awful but the staff was friendly and attentive
Awesome food and service as always! Good atmosphere and we will continue to eat there.
We choose Camelot for our reception party after we got married in Vegas. They provided us with separate room and we even did not requested it, because we had just 8 people. Food was great, steak was prepared very good and staff was super helpful and friendly! It was a special dinner on very special day and it was just great!
It's a quiet spot on the Las Vegas strip- you have to go through a lot of chaos before you finally reach the steakhouse within the Excalibur! Friendly waitstaff and classic steakhouse fair.
We enjoyed our meal very much and the wait staff were very nice. The beef was good ( though the interpretation of medium rare became medium...a small disappointment). The restaurant was lightly attended as it opened at 5 ( we wanted early dining before going to see a show), and as such, it was pleasant and quiet, unlike other food venues in LV that tend to be too noisy,
Yes, we would recommend this restaurant.
Amazing as always, eat here every trip to Vegas. Mauro is awesome.
Hostess was friendly and the service was solid. Steaks very good and prepared nicely. Stuff shrimp was tasty. Overall a nice meal at a quiet place with good service. Sides are ala cart ($14) so nothing under $30 as Open Table may need to update their information. Easily $60 with entre and side, $75 pp with drink or wine. Maybe a bit pricey for the amount of food but given on the strip it is average.
I eat here every time I'm in Vegas, favorite steakhouse on the strip. Ask for Mauro, great waiter, really cares that his diners enjoy themselves and will often recommend items not on the menu.
The filet was very tender and grilled medium rare just as I requested
Excellent steakhouse, food was very good. Will be coming back.
