   Amazing experience starting with Juan our server and a big shout out to Jen with her big beautiful smile. This is the kind of Restaurant that deserves ,and ultimately will get a well deserved Michelin star ⭐️ . The chef is on point with every dish. The oysters, scallops, Iberico pork and agnolotti pasta wowed us!!! I have to say in comparison I was in shock when MAAS got a Michelin star. ( and for the counter only?!) since when do we split up a restaurant for a Michelin star? It should all be included and it definitely was not. Calusso is far superior and goes away above what you would expect from a Ft Lauderdale restaurant.  I was totally impressed and I don’t say that often about restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Bravo to a job well done and a wonderful staff. And Gary general manager was wonderful. All I have to say to finish this review is #YES CHEF  And we have to mention that Gary general manager was wonderful.

   I brought an out of town visitor here thinking it would be a home run experience because I had a great dinner at Calusso a couple months ago… but it was so embarrassing. They sat us at a dirty table- crumbs all over tho seats, food residue on the table. Had to ask them to come clean it. Slow service, lackluster food, the whole experience was disappointing.

   Sadly this amazing venue launched a new menu the night we dined. We were sat at our appointed reservation in a lovely booth with breathtaking view of the sunset. Sadly it took an hour for our apps to arrive and one of the three the were “ out of” , unfortunately neither our waiter or manager approached the table during the hour delay. When I asked I was told it’s a new menu… ok only half of your table are seated… are they catching the fish? The apps were delicious. Second and third courses were also delayed. The meal too 3 1/2 hours to be served. After several discussion the GM approached and offered drinks or comp’d entrees. I dont need free food, I need a great meal served in appropriate amount of time. My suggestion is give them time to get their act together before you go🤷‍♂️

   This was a romantic date night for me and my boyfriend. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left we were treated as respected guests and I felt they all truly valued or presence there. The courses were made to perfection and served very fashionably by our waitress. It was amazing! One of a kind
