    Everyone in Miami needs to experience Calle Dragones. I have not had food that delicious here in Miami in quite some time. Pleasantly surprised because Cuban fusion is usually really difficult to combine but they nailed it. The staff was so kind and detailed as well.

    El lugar es bello el ambiente muy nice y la banda súper sin duda es lo q mantiene ese lugar Ahora la parte mala cuando llege la mesa no estaba lista y después d esperar 30 minutos me querían dar una mesa en el segundo pido escondidos la muchacha de la puerta q es la primera cara del lugar. Acaba con el lugar ella no tiene personalidad para ese puesto es la segunda ves q fui y no pienso ir más

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. As locals, we were so excited to try this place, but unfortunately we did not have a great experience. Our table was double booked, so we were being rushed through the entire dinner. When we were ordering our food, we told the server we needed a minute to decide. She came back not thirty seconds later telling us we needed to hurry up and place the order soon. We did so without having had the time to fully appreciate the menu because we were being rushed. Towards the end of the dinner, our server and one of the hostesses again told us we needed to hurry up and finish our dinner because they needed the table. When we told her we were still not finished, they became very rude and told us we had taken more than an hour and a half. If you have exactly 1.5 hours for dinner, this is something that should be told to customers at the time of making the reservation. I would not have chosen to come here had I known I had exactly this amount of time or else I would be kicked out of my dinner table while I’m still not finished with my dinner. Never in all my experience of eating at restaurants, have I ever felt so STRESSED and rushed to finish a dinner. I experience enough stress in my daily life to also feel stressed on my Saturday night out at what was supposed to be a nice and relaxing dinner. When we expressed our feelings to the manager, she approached us with another man who was threatening us to calm down. We were not being rowdy or rude. We were upset and telling her about our experience, while this man moderated us like children. Aside from this extremely uncomfortable experience, the food was nothing special for how expensive it was. We spent nearly $400 for two people (one $80 bottle of wine, three appetizers, one entree, and two sides). We could have spent that anywhere else where the service would have made a much more pleasant experience. Please do not make the same mistake we made and stay away from this place.

    If my dinner here was just about celebrating with a very good friend, it would be 5 stars. However, the restaurant and particularly service needs improvement. That’s why the overall review is 3 stars. Other than the birthday celebration, my impression is that Calle Dragones has a very high P/E Ratio. In other words, it was overpriced for our experience. When I made reservations here, I marked that it was for a birthday dinner. I got there a little earlier than the birthday girl and sat at the bar…and waited..to get a menu. The daiquiri ($20) was a little too lemony for my taste and the service at the bar felt a little unattentive. Also, I understand my friend was a little late. But we were sat up at the corner of the mezzanine, almost hidden away. We had to speak up to get service. Of course, they have a 20 percent automatic gratuity. We also had to send one of our drinks back due to an unpleasant aftertaste. To their credit, they didn’t charge for it. The menu is very heavy on pork or seafood. There were no chicken dishes. While the Lechon and guava sauce was actually pretty tasty, I’m pigged out until next year’s Nochebuena! The fried rice was also tasty, if not necessarily $30 something tasty. From the Miami Spice menu, the char siu pork ribs appetizer was tasty, but I would pass on the desserts. The crema catalana (Creme brûlée) was more like an arroz con leche dessert and didn’t have a crispy crust. The lychee and pineapple pavlova they brought out for my friend’s birthday was actually much better. The music show - more like a band and dancer - was hard to see from upstairs. There was an interactive part but again we were up in the mezzanine so nada.

    Not a great experience. We had reservation for 9:00 pm, thanks to Miami traffic we arrived 12 minutes late. We had family from out of town we wanted to show a good time. The person at the front was very rude and said we had lost our reservation and said we could seat at the bar. Finally after pleading and begging they gave us our table. I was not impressed by the food and was extremely expensive for no reason. Sounds and looks great on the website, bit real life is a bit different. I am a home mixologist and drinks were horrible except one. We tried different ones and all were a fail, especially at $25 a pop. We did not have a nice experience at all. Glad we went but as a foodie, will not go back nor recommend to my friends. Wish them best of luck.

    It is a new restaurant, and they may be working out some of the kinks of the service and food. The food had very good presentation, but overall Chinese fusion did not work. The service can also use training on proper etiquette. One issue that I saw was that they started removing plates from the table, before everyone was done. Besides those two point, the decor is very good with beautiful Testa di Moro pieces. The atmosphere is electric from the moment the band starts playing onward. Their cocktails are picture perfect with a good flavor profile. Overall it is a very good place that I would recommend to anyone living, or visiting Miami.

    The decor and ambiance makes you feel like you’re in a cabaret in old Havana. The service was good. I wish the food matched. We had 2 appetizers the pork maripositas and the dumplings. They were both lacking in salt and flavor. The same with the entrees. If you are looking for an entertaining evening with live music you may want to stick to the bar.

    Food was good, BUT the service was slow and they hold you to a 1 1/2 time slot. We had barely been served the desert never given a chance to order coffee when we were asked to pay the check as table was reserved for other party. Very unpleasant way to end what could have been a very nice evening.

    Amazing restaurant for its value. You get the best of great entertainment, energy, decor, balanced by good food. Any restaurant that incorporates an interesting cultural/historical fact with its design/concept, gets brownie points from me.

    Food is fantastic, the music is a live band that was awesome. People were very much enjoying the ambiance and dancing the night out. Bar has a great selection of cocktails. Fully recommended!

    Great experience. My and my wife went to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Environment was amazing as well as the food. Little bit expensive for a regular night out but I recommend it for a special occasion where you able to spend more than a regular date

    I love this place but the fact that they only give you an hour and a half to eat, killed the experience at the end. We weren’t even finished our food and we were being told they needed our table for the next seating.

    I don’t why Open Table request if there a reason for your visit because to date I think no restaurant as ever acknowledged the reason and tonight was no different. The look of the restaurant was amazing and the performers are TOO GOOD, but come on I am paying $200 plus dollars for a dinner and you sit me literally by the bathroom. As a designer I would have rather left that space empty. There was speaker behind my hubby that he almost fell over when stand up to go the bathroom. They brought us our side 15 mins before the food by the time my fish came my side was luke warm almost cold. I had a better time waiting for my table then the table I was seat at celebrating our anniversary. Even if it was because who puts a table literally 3ft from the bathrooms. Service was not top notch. If any dinner is easily $200 plus I would like more attention more so when there is a 20% added got gratuity even in a table for two . also, they had added an extra appetizer that I had requested it to be canceled. They didn’t, and instead of leaving it at the table, which sat in the table for like 23 minutes they actually took it back to the kitchen, made me think have my food been anywhere else? So, to end this I regret although the place teleported you to Cuba in the 50’s the experience would never take me back.

    We had reservations for 815 it was 845 and we had to continue to pick the hostess and she just kept telling me when we’re doing what we can yet they have a policy that if you don’t show up they’ll charge you $25 per person but they can be late. The food was a mess. Everything came out at different times so our party was eating at all different times they didn’t have tables for us. They had to end up squeezing us in a corner because we started to get upset worse experience I’ve had for the amount of money we paid
