Have been to California Pizza Kitchen a few times before and always liked it. Tried to use priority seating to get dinner prior to a concert. With the crowds there before the concert, priority seating still left us with a long wait. Not wanting to miss the opening of the concert, we went elsewhere. Next time, I will make a reservation with a restaurant that takes reservations instead of getting on a priority seating waiting list. Could not submit review without adding ratings so they are low for our non-dining experience.

Service was excellent. Food disappointing as the bbq chicken salad is different. No bbq sauce and skimpy avocado

When we arrived at the restaurant they didn’t have any record of our “reservation”. I showed them the email confirmation and they offered to seat us as quickly as possible (which was quoted as 20-25 minutes). We had an event to get to and couldn’t wait. Luckily we were able to get a high top table in the bar. The food was very good and Andy the bartender/server in the bar area was awesome. He was very attentive even though you could tell he was very busy. Overall we had a great experience thanks to Andy’s service.

My son’s pizza was wrong but management comp’d my son’s favorite dessert. That counts for something. Food was as good as normal.
