Food was great! Try the cauliflower pizza crust! Service was friendly, but a little slow.
My party arrived to the restuarant 10mins prior to our reservation only to be told that they dont accept reservations. So we had to wait over 30mins past our reservation. It also took a very long time to get our food while other tables who were seated after us recieved their food and check much quicker.
Appetizers came after meal. Food was average at best. Servers did nothing but apologize. Manager did nothing. Thanks.
I always enjoy CPK. The food and portion sizes are good. Even the salads are a good size. The dessert menu is also impressive. It makes it hard to choose! (But, I highly recommend the salted caramel pudding!) The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I booked for 6 but, the party grew to 9 by the time we arrived at the restaurant. The hostess first sat us in a large corner booth but, could tell it was going to be a tight squeeze, so offered to move us to another dining area that would better fit our group. Our server was also very friendly and attentive.
Made a reservation and was ignored by greeter and bad-mouthed by another waiting customer when I told her I had a reservation. Pizza was dry and lukewarm. Server didn’t remember stuff and we waited forever!
It was a great meal and the service was wonderful
It was lunch time. Busier than I would’ve thought but overall we were seated right away. The food took over 30 mins and it was ok.. I felt like It might have been sitting for a bit. I had never eaten at a CPK.. I would probably go again but the food and service overall was just ok.
Appitizers we ordered never arrived. Our pizza came very late and very cold. This was not the first unfortunate experience we had at this location; this, as well as previous times, the server blamed the situation on the kitchen.
Service was terribly slow, food order came out wrong and check was incorrect. Overall down hill. Smaller salad portions. Disappointing:(
overall flavorless food, high priced, not big portions
Great food and great service from our waiter Joe! Thank you for everything!
California Pizza Kitchen is a great place to get a meal before or after a movie, and I love the convenient priority seating - I booked a table online earlier in the day and was immediately seated when I arrived. The food is good and the cost reasonable. Salads are always good as is the bianco flatbread, which I like to get as a meal. My friend had the pasta and mushroom dish - she let me try it and it was fabulous, and I'll definitely order it next time. I often come here with my family, too, and there is always something for everyone, including my picky 12-year old.
Great! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful.
Our meal was quite enjoyable. Our server was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We will return soon.
The menu has gotten healthier at California Pizza Kitchen. I really like how they offer new options for people who are trying to be more food conscious. They offer now Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. These were super tasty. It made me happy to try. I am now obsessed with it. The pizza varieties are still good. They offer also additional menu items. Would recommend if you are in the area as a good option for groups!
Our service was horrible.
No utensils or plates (asked multiple times)
Brought wrong food
Unknowledgeable about menu items
Received our kids meals before our drinks
Was never brought bread
Food was cold, but burnt ( ironic, I know)
Sat outside, that was lovely-
The worst service ever.
Love this place! We have an gluten allergy in the family so I love that they offer gluten free options and our food has never been cross-contaminated. Fast service, reasonable price, and delicious!!
Hostess was not welcoming at all. Server was extremely slow! Quality food was just fair. Would not recommend!!
Made reservations for 6 a couple days in advance of Mother’s Day. Received two, possibly three, confirmations for our noon reservation. Yet, when we arrived, they could not accommodate our “priority” seating. The hostess at first asked if we minded sitting in 2 separate booths. We ended up sitting along the window at high top tables. Only 4 people could share an actual table so two of our party sat close by at another table. I was very unhappy and disappointed with the way our reservation didn’t seem to matter.
The hostess was not too polite. At first she acted like I was making up the fact that I had a reservation. She then told us to wait. We sat in the bar and told her to come get us but she never did. We ended up having to order food at the bar. The service at the bar great. The place had many empty tables so I don’t know why the hostess made us wait or even never went to get us again.
Food and service were both great. However, the hostess wasn't sure how to note on Open Table that we did arrive for our lunch. This might be something you want to teach your staff. The manager was kind enough to come by and let us know that priority seating was something new, and they weren't sure how to advise Open Table that we did in fact show up for the reservation.
Liked the Cauliflower crust pizza, could've had more sauce and less cheese, but it was crispy and delicious, especially with the mushrooms. Really enjoyed the arugula salad. And the split pea soup. The food came out pretty quickly.
I used to love CPK, but nowadays it never fails to disappoint. Seems like every time I go, one of the menu items I like has been removed. I ordered my go-to pizza, the California veggie. It was supposed to have broccolini, it had regular broccoli. It was supposed to have eggplant, it had mostly eggplant skins. It was completely covered in mushrooms, which overpowered any other flavor. I counted at most 10 kernels of corn on the whole pizza. I paid extra to add goat cheese, and got maybe 1 tablespoon of crumbles scattered across the pizza. Very disappointing. I think the best part of the meal was the complimentary bread and olive oil!
First time at California Pizza Kitchen and I enjoyed it. They served small garlic roles at the table with oil and spices that were delicious. I ordered the full size cobb salad for lunch and was very satisfied. The salad was "chopped" including the lettuce and I loved that. I ordered the beets too which were very tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the place had a nice vibe to it. I would definitely go back.
Priority seating does state that it is not a reservation, and this was true for us. Our "reservation" was for 6:30 and we were seated around 7:00. Our waitress was fine, but the food took a very long time to arrive. We are regulars at the CPK in King of Prussia, but this location is always a disappointment in terms of efficiency. Long waits for everything, which is hard when you're dining with kids.
Poor experience from beginning to end. Disorganized, crowded, slow, average food.
Long periods passed without seeing our server starting from the moment we sat. Servers seemed harried because there were so few of them.
Especially good, the asparagus arugula salad, the strawberry and mango drink, the split pea soup, and the cauliflower pizza with wild mushrooms
We made reservation for 6 people at 6:45 pm. We showed up and waited 15 minutes while the hostess said they were preparing the table. Then the manager came to desk and told us it would be 1 hour plus wait. The reservations on open table are not actually reservations but rather a waitlist. I had 4 kids with me and they were hungry. There was nowhere to wait except out in the cold. While waiting the kids had to use the restroom and along the way we noticed The restaurant had many empty tables and many that were empty and still not cleaned. The kitchen was visibly dirty, there was some kind of leak and a fan blowing air into restaurant. The bathrooms were dirty and had no paper towels; after seeing that and speaking to the manager we decided to leave. We will never return to this CPK. We will also be calling the health inspector about all of the visible
Violations- imagine what we can’t see.
Fast seating with Open Table reservation. Good food and great service.
Did not have anyone there to accept open table.
Had to wait an hour. Did not bring out food all at one time and some food was cold. Bathrooms are filthy need better management or close it.
Restaurant clearly overwhelmed and we ended up sitting at bar. Bar tender was over her head with orders and needed help which clearly there was no one. Front door area was logged jammed with reservations that were not “firm” and quite frankly the explanation made no sense. The attitude of employee did not help calm anyone.
Food was marginal and slow. Does not appear enough staff was on duty and heard numerous conversations from employees bickering that they needed help and could. It handle what they had.
I don’t necessarily lame staff but it spilled out to patrons.
California Pizza should be ashamed.
CAll this restaurant..........even after booking with Opentable...got there....and no reservation. Showed them confirmation, nothing. No apologies, simply said they did not have it.....45 minute wait.
Asked for manager, told me they were too busy.
Wouldn’t accept reservation
Love the cauliflower crust pizza! Our service was not great. We had to wait for awhile to even place a drink order. The food came in a reasonable amount of time though, once we ordered. The server did not stop back by to refill glasses and we had to stop someone to ask for the check. To be fair, they were very busy, so maybe it was just a fluke on the poor service.
i love CPK and am a regular happy customer in King of Prussia. However, our first visit to Plymouth Meeting location was a completely different experience. First, the denial of the hostess that we had a 'reservation' on open table. Why even have it listed on Open Table if they don't honor it? And if Open Table is for reservations there- it should def be differentiated from this "call ahead seating" - the hostess had a bit of an attitude about it. Overall, the service was just ok despite we got there prior to the busy dinner rush. Even so mixed up that what we thought was ice tea was actually soda- lots of basic service mistakes. The opposite of the awesome service we continually get at KOP store and others we visited around the country.
Good food, good service, reasonable price. We asked for a booth, and that was not a good choice: The seats were so low that the table top was almost at our necks' level. We Definitely recommend the restaurant, just avoid the booth!
Service was way too slow... seemed like there wasn’t enough staff for the night even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy.
The ones who ordered pizzas came out room temperature and my salad came from the fridge (bowl was cold) so there really wasn’t a reason why our food could not come out at the same time. We travel to Conshohocken on a regular basis for work and will not be returning to this location.
Kayle was wonderful
