Once again Donny provided great service.
Our experience this visit was not our usual experience. We had to wait a bit to be seated. I didn’t mind waiting. The server was clearly new. My salad was also not consistent with the quality I usually receive from my frequent dining at this restaurant. I had to reminder her that she was in the process of refilling our drinks. She took a very long time getting our check.
Terrible experience. Hopefully, it was just us. When we arrived and informed them of our opentable seating, we were told the restaurant "doesn't really work well with opentable and the wait would be 45 minutes" Sadly, it was my wife's choice for her birthday.
First and last timeto go here. Server wanted to be anywhere else but there. Never came back to ask how anything was or if we wanted another drink, etc... Food was just ok ( we had pizza), although pepper appetizer was very good. We had a small child and never were asked if we wanted anything to eat for child or a highchair, which we got ourselves.
Priority seating worked very well. Service was excellent. Portions good sized and my favorite Thai Chicken Pizza on whole week was very good as usual.
We've eaten at California pizza kitchen plenty of times but this is the second time in a row at this location where things went poorly. The salmon on my wife's Caesar salad arrived the first time so overcooked it wasn't edible, everyone's food took forever to come out, and my father's pizza was lukewarm. They remade the salmon and heated up the pizza but honestly you need to get it right the first time and not on just half the dishes. Clearly there was a problem in the kitchen that needs to be addressed.
The staff was friendly but the restaurant was dirty. The table cleaners simple wiped off tables allowing food to land on the chairs and surrounding floor. Food was okay. Best for people with children or quick bite after shopping.
We thought the pizza was excellent and have already recommended it. I was most unhappy with the unpleasant seating we were given.
Had the arugula salad with asparagus and pinenuts and sun-dried tomatoes and quinoa, which was extremely good, and got rid of the onions. Had the split pea soup with barley, very good, and then the cauliflower crust pizza with mixed wild mushroom and truffle oil, but it should have been with some sauce and not just on the side left off the mozzarella and just did sprinkle of Parmesan
This place is hit or miss. We typically like the food very much. It seems like the kitchen was either mismanaged or understaffed. Our server was great, so that helped offset the poor/related food service. The bathroom was a mess as well. Never a good sign for a restaurant.
Great pizza!! Nice atmosphere
After finding out that the Cheesecake Factory was a 90 minute wait, I checked Open Table to find an alternative. California Pizza Kitchen had availability and was just upstairs in the Court in KoP, so we decided to go there. It was super busy when we arrived but they honored our reservation within just a few minutes. The sangria sampler was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Pizza and salads are the focus here but there are other entrees available, including some gluten free options. Our party of five sat in a very large booth. We enjoyed our dinner and will return.
CPK in King of Prussia is our go-to spot because it is consistently good, reasonably priced, and fun. The food is creative and excellent, the service is top notch, and you will never feel like you overpaid. They offer many healthy options and they are willing to customize just about anything. Also, you will benefit from their rewards program right away if you join. If you are lucky, you will get Donny as your server and wonder why he isn't training every single server in the King of Prussia area on how to be awesome!
We had a very good experience here. Family friendly atmosphere.
Mother’s Day. Waaay overpriced, but very good.
CPK is a chain, of course, so the food is generally good and similar across locations. We had a party of 5 -- all having non-alcoholic beverages. Two of our drinks were served within 5 minutes of sitting down. One more was served about 5 minutes later. The other two took 15 minutes MORE. Then and only then did the waiter take our order. The food all arrived at the same time luckily, and it was standard CPK fare. All in all, an OK experience. It was Mother's Day, but the place did not seem overly busy. I am not sure what happened with our service.
Everything was good but even through our waiter was very nice, my wife asked for extra butter and salad dressing, he never brought it.
Service was excellent
Our waiter was INCREDIBLE!! I am so upset i can’t remember his name but he truly was THE BEST. He was funny, super attentive and so kind! Me and my best friend must have stayed an extra hour after paying our check just talking and he would STILL come over to ask us if we needed anything at all without making us feel rushed out! Thank you for one of the best experiences!
Good experience as usual. Pizza was good. The new Mexican street corn appetizer and the shishito peppers were delicious! Chocolate cake dessert was yum!
Service was outstanding. Food was really terrible.
CPK has a cauliflower crust pizza that was delicious! The Caesar salad was wonderful too! We took our grandson for his 19th Birthday and they gave him a free scoop of ice cream with a candle in it for dessert. Would definitely recommend!
Had the most wonderful arugula salad, and my friend had buffalo cauliflower, I enjoyed the pea soup and my friend loved the tortilla soup, my friend especially loved the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, and I enjoyed the wild mushroom pizza on cauliflower crust! WOW!
My friend had the cucumber juice, and I had the strawberry and other fruits juice...
It was a really nice dinner!
They seated us right away with priority seating....very pleased about that especially because it was a Saturday night.
