We dined outdoors and that view is certainly spectacular. Unfortunately, some of the food is not. The tuna in my poke bowl was very poorly cut, with lots of sinewy pieces (about one third of it) that were inedible. My date’s fresh fish taco was delicious, but certainly not the promised sea bass. We overheard another waiter telling other guests that the fish of the day was grouper (not sea bass), so I can only assume our waiter was mistaken.

Beautiful sight out the dining room window in early evening.
Wonderful service. Excellent food all around.
We were able to find parking ourselves, but they do offer valet parking too.
Highly recommended!

Wait service really inattentive. Manager finally took our order. Food was mediocre, bland in a very expensive multi course menu.

I took my wife there for Valentine's Day and we loved it, we almost had the whole patio to ourselves. We will be back next year to celebrate Valentine's day.

Help needed at valet parking. Too long to wait at arrival and too long to wait when leaving. Same as my last visit. No excuse for not fixing this.

It’s a beautiful experience - we recommend the outside deck because it gets pretty warm inside when the sun is on you. Food could be better-dry halibut sandwich. Delicious lemon custard desert!

Service was slow. We feel like we were forgotten about. Coffee cane with no cream. Had to wait 5 minutes to see our waiter to get cream. Coffee ended up just warm.

This restaurant went from extraordinary to ordinary in terms of food. We have been to Pacific's Edge many times over the years, by ourselves and with friends, and the food was always outstanding for everyone. It was the reason we would stay in Carmel Highlands. But we were very disappointed in the downgrade of the food. The prices are higher and the quality of the food and preparation lower. I ordered "Steak Frites" expecting "french fries" (apparently they don't know "frites" in French means french fries) but was served a sliced, roasted potato. The steak was much to hard to cut and chew, and the vegetables barely cooked. My husband had the rack of lamb which he said was good (not outstanding) and his vegetables also were practically raw. When I complained to the waiter, he did get the price of my entree removed and was very apologetic. The management needs to know that their "new" restaurant falls short of the "old."

We went for brunch....the view is always wonderful....however the food was cold (waffles) and the eggs Benedict was over cooked. The eggs Benedict was replaced when we brought it to the attention of our server. One member of our party had to leave the table to go find the server. Coffee refill finally came.
The resturant was not busy....lots of help milling around....but service sub-par.

After several weeeks since our reservation, hostess said she didn't have a table for us. She took us to a 'temporary' table. The sound level was so high we could not hear what the hostess was saying to us. I made it clear that I couldn't hear what she was saying so she moved us to a back room. The new table was much more pleasant , sound wise, but, why were relegated to a back corner away from the view?

Totally missed the mark. Don't go for dinner if you want to enjoy the view of the "Pacific Edge." The view was overshadowed by the reflection of the bar and its light. Our waiter realized we were celebrating a birthday AFTER the dinner was paid for. Our selections did not meet the value of their cost.

Valet parking is a joke. We had to wait 10 minuets to get a ticket for our car before we went in. We had to wait 10 minuets for someone to show up to get our car when we wanted to leave.

Wonderful meal. Warm service. Bar meant extra noise/rowdiness. Great seafood. Thoughtful help with the wine selection. We were there at night so no view but I imagine it’s fabulous during day.

THE VIEW! Breathtaking view! The staff and the service was very good and happily accommodated our changing tables to further enjoy the view! From the valet parking to the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was very warm. We enjoyed our breakfast very much! Everything was so fresh! It was exactly what we wanted and was the perfect place for a romantic breakfast on the first day of the new decade (or any other day)!
