I reservee table and they were not in the same place it was a problem when my guest came and the table I reserved wasn't ready they gave them to someone else the host was very rude to us but after all of that it was great

Completely over booked had a reservation for 8 didn’t get in till 9 an then they were out of the special they advertised so crab claws was good an a salad hard to mess that up don’t make reservations with this on big days they over do it.

We got the text for our 7:15 reservation around 8:15 while we were eating at another restaurant. Having a reservation did not mean anything! We normally enjoy California Dreaming and were disappointed in the service.

Fun, upbeat bar/restaurant in the Eastern Shores Mall. They have Happy Hour daily 4-7p that is a great deal. We were a party of 6, reservation for 5pm on a Saturday. We were seated immediately, at a round table which I requested in the Open door app. Drink orders were a little slow. The menu has much variety. We ordered appetizers and salads, everything was very good. The food came out quickly. We were seated in the dining room but you can order from the menu in the bar area also. The restaurant became busy, many people waiting about 6:30p. Make a reservation if you have a large party, especially on weekends!

Our waiter was friendly and professional. He made us feel welcome right away. We were neither rushed nor unattended. Our food was delicious and our drinks were perfect. We are new to the area and came to California Dreaming on a neighbor's recommendation. We will definitely frequent this restaurant.

2 weeks reservation and 1 day before confirmation, still couldn't prepare the right table, tried to squeeze 7 in on a booth for 6. This time we had a server who was very rude, no patience at all. I didn't expect to have these situations at California Dreaming

We ordered drinks, 3 appetizers and 2 dinners. The server asked us if we wanted our appetizers before dinner or with dinner and we asked for them to be delivered before dinner. We got our drinks, waited about 20 minutes, then salad and dinner were served together. We were asked if we wanted our appetizers, at no charge, wrapped to go and we declined. When I told the manager that my salad and dinner were served simultaneously he offered to take my dinner back and keep it hot. We were there about 3 months ago with another couple and had a similar issue where the appetizers, salads and dinner were all delivered within about 5 minutes. Our table was so packed with food it was difficult to navigate. The food here is good and they take reservations but the inability for the restaurant to time their service properly is disappointing.

The She Crab soup is always delicious. However, it was just warm. When my 1entree came, it was also just warm. The flavors were good - acceptable because I was quite hungry and have been to California Dreaming before. It was on my way home so we stopped.

Sunday Lunch Appetizers of crab claws a bit over fried but ok and then hamburgers and house salad with she crab soup. Everything was good , nothing to high five about. Sat at table promptly and server was good. A miss on one burger when requested no Mayo and it came to table with it on there. Server offered to have it redone but we opted to live with it. The menu has downsized and the offerings aren’t thrilling or unique for such a nice restaurant atmosphere. Overall experience good but note to corporate… you have a accident waiting to happen if you don’t strip and clean the buildup of whatever type of floor cleaner used. Extremely slippery and staff was aware and said that’s why they wore non slip shoes. Well the patrons still have to walk to their tables maybe go to the restrooms . This is not a dirty complaint it’s a true concern for possibility of someone falling.

Clearly our server “Kate” did not want to be bothered by us. Waited almost 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. Took our order, brought us drinks and literally slid them across the table as she hurriedly walked past. She spent another 10 minutes in animated conversation with her coworkers in the kitchen before bringing our appetizer that we could literally see waiting to be picked up. Our dinner was brought by food runners and she never once came to check on us. I finally stopped a hostess to ask for ketchup for my now cold fries. A few moments later Kate finally shows up to check on us (imagine that-guess someone told her her customers needed something). We watched Kate socialize with her coworkers our entire meal. She was definitely more concerned with them than her customers. Shame because we generally get great service at California Dreaming but not this time.

Excellent and fast service. The crab claws were ok. The house salad is very good. My wife had the roasted salmon and it was delicious. I highly recommend the NY Strip. Excellent thick center cut that was perfectly cooked. Bar service was fast. Live music permeated the entire restaurant. Simply put: a fantastic dinner.
