Awesome find on Bleeker St. We will be back! Great drinks, food, and fun!
This spot is what's happening. Love love love the drinks, they are on point....had three of them 😜
it was so loud in the restaurant, we were shouting at each other...and we were in the back. the service was good and attentive, but my 3 fellow diners all disliked their food. i was happy with mine.
Food was great but the MARGARITAS were the BEST!!!!
It was a good experience. The drinks were amazing!!!! I had a frozen pina colada and I just couldn't stop drinking it! And the lighting, music, and decor of the place was very much Mexican Culture. Very laid back so it's a good place for a night out with friends or jusy to hang out too.
Great brunch-good price and delicious food!
Overall food is delicious. Service is good. Its a nice spot to begin the night in the city. 😎
Caliente Cab was delicious! My friend and I had a reservation and we were seated promptly upon arrival. The restaurant is a little crowded and warm at peak hours, but the ambience and energy fit perfectly with the decor. Our food and drinks came out surprisingly fast and everything was delicious. Their speciality drinks are fantastic and everything is fairly priced for the area the restaurant is in. Overall, we had a fun time on a beautiful night and look forward to being back again soon!
Drinks sat empty most of the night. Salsa trio is enough for one person for $7. When we asked about the portion the manager actually rolled his eyes at us! The cheese in my enchilada was still in cubes (never melted) Overall the food was decent but the service and attitudes of the staff made it a place I wouldn’t recommend.
The food was bland, cheap and not worth the money. The drinks were the best part of the whole visit
What you see is what you get here. I’d rate the food one step up from any sit-down chain establishment. Good, consistent but not a wow. Drinks weren’t very balanced. They rush you through the meal - it’s about quick table turnover -so be prepared for that. Had the fajitas, not sure why they charge extra for peppers and cheese. Can’t figure out what’s actually on the plate if you don’t get that? Just meat and onions? Skip the rice and beans. Of all the food it had the least flavor. If you have picky eaters or if you like chain restaurants you’ll probably love this place.
The food was okay. I was a but disappointed my medium stark was well done and the steak was served cold. Such a waste of a skirt steak. The staff was nice and very accommmodating and sat us down even though we didn’t have our full party yet.
Poor service overall. The food was dry and salty. The food didn’t taste fresh or have that authentic Mexican taste. The guacamole was really good along with the chips. I ordered the chicken panko crusted chicken with rice and black beans. The chicken was fried to hard and was salty. The rice and beans was bland.. didn’t have a great experience at all..
Amazing food. Phenomenal drinks, Miami Vice is the way to go!
The drinks were NOT good. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that makes bad drinks. No alcohol in them; we were drinking virgin margaritas. The food was good, but there are plenty of Mexican restaurants in NY that serve good food AND drinks, so I will not be going back again.
Drinks were good, food was alright. Just would’ve appreciated if the waiter told me I would be charged additional $2 for extra sauce before I took it.
There was no love in the food.
Loved it food was good and service!!
Tacos and a giant margarita are all you need to live! Just do it...
The food and service were very good. The drinks were good and they had a large variety of Margaritas at a reasonable price compared to other NYC restaurants.
I will definitely go back. We enjoyed our time there and they didn’t rush us out so they could reoccupy the table.
Food was overall good taco tower was overcooked the queso fondo was great the drinks was not what i expected when you here the name of the place but overall had a good time
Average Mex-American or Tex-Mex taco / burrito hole. NOT authentic Mexican food but the outdoor space is nice.
It's a little bit excessively pricey, and the food is good but not amazing, however, this can be expected for the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant was close to where we needed to go after (comedy club), and able to get us in and out quickly, which is why we chose it.
Great outdoor seating
We went here for Mother’s Day, and had another great experience. I have been going to Caliente Cab Company for the last 20 years, and they have never disappointed me. Well, maybe on this past Cinco De Mayo when the line to get in was literally a block long so we had to go somewhere else. Always great food, great friendly service and festive atmosphere.
It was better than I expected...the cocktails were really fun and delicious, and the value is phenomenal. We had a very sweet waiter named Isaac who took good care of us and made great suggestions. I will go again.
Good outdoor seating on a warm day. My friend ordered a margarita and didn't know there were different sizes but the waitress decided for her and gave her the gigantic, pricier one. And on the receipt was an aggressive reminder tip was not included, which is probably because of tourists. Overall just seems like the service was concerned about themselves more than customers. Food was fine.
Too loud but still fun
