Chef Mural Manjunath has received four consecutive Michelin stars for his modern take on Indian cuisine. He took an innovative approach by blending traditional Indian flavors with Southeast Asian cuisine to deliver a truly unique experience. At Cali Chilli, we hope to bring you a similar experience through an Indian twist on traditional American dishes.
Located across Heartwell Park in Viking Way, a few blocks from Carson & Bellflower Blvd Cali Chilli boasts intimate and cozy seating, and some outdoor seating to enjoy the weather, perfect for any occasion.

                                                                                                            We had a party of 6. They charged us a 20% service charge. Thats fine but then the waiter said that’s for the restaurant and he still needs a tip. In other words 40% for service? We all vowed never to eat there again because of this.

We ordered a variety of small plates and a couple of large plates to share among a group of 4. Everything was delicious; we loved every single dish we ordered. We were also able to get a reservation on fairly short notice, even though it was a holiday weekend and the restaurant was quite busy. We feel like we've discovered a new favorite place!

                                                                                                            There were 4 of us for dinner & 2 had never been here before. We asked the manager for recommendations & made our selections from there. We each picked an item to share. We ordered a sea bass dish, eggplant lasagne, truffle chicken tikka & saag paneer. Each dish was amazing! We also had the tamarind martini & finished with the pistachio martini (basically a dessert). Everything was amazing! We plan to come back to order another 4 dishes until we’ve tasted everything on the menu. Seriously amazing food!!

The restaurant offer a list of wonderful and tasty dishes inspired by a master Michelin-awarded chef. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. The ambience is pleasant and staff is cordial and very helpful. The only weakness in service is that there was only on server available who also served as bartender. Definitely, more staff is needed to handle the big crowd of enthusiastic consumers.
