Calabash Bistro

It was such a pleasure to have my expectations exceeded. I’ve learned to choose the daily special at Calabash, as it has always been a delightful experience every time. I love their slow-cooked approach which infuses their dishes with their unique array of flavours. The service was the right amount of tentativeness, mixed with a friendly vibe. Calabash is one of our favourite places to dine for a delectable experience. Their Dark & Stormy is second to none!

Reasonable prices and great food and drinks. This place is definitely a Vancouver gem.

So happy to see these guys still thriving throughout covid season ❤️ our table enjoyed the jerk Burger and fried fish plus some patties and Coco dumplings. EVERYTHING tasted super good. I had Reggae on Broadway beautiful spicy tequila with mango drink. loved the servers everybody was masked and having a good time!

Went for happy hour. As always, they have the most beautiful and tasty dark and stormys in the city. Love that there's a vegetarian option for poutine! We ate too much.... Food is too good.

We made a reservation at Calabash Bistro to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We had some special requests that the restaurant did their very best to accommodate. The restaurant was nearly empty likely due to Covid. The servers were attentive but not overly so - they allowed us lots of time to enjoy the evening and the food - which was delicious,. Order the coconut dumplings. This was our first time at the Bistro, and we will certainly go back.

Had dinner with a friend in Friday night, really enjoyed the oxtail stew and the mango mojitos were delicious. Our server was a gentleman with great energy and was always attentive to our needs. Calabash never disappoints. I recommend going if you want good food, music and atmosphere.

Really knowledgeable staff and great service. We have been wanting to come here for ages and our anniversary was the perfect reason.

I meet up here regularly for end of week chill with a friend and we love it. It's a cool, funky place. Seen a few servers come and go and without exception all were super friendly, helpful and happy to please. A big shout out to Colleen, she is super awesome! All the food I've tried has been great but I particularly love the roti stack, and if you're vegan this is a find.

First time visiting. It smelled absolutely amazing as we were shown to our table. Really loved the atmosphere & decor. Menu is simple and straightforward. Portions look small but are very filling! Never having had Caribbean food before, I would imagine it was very authentic. Nothing too showy or inventive but delicious & proper comfort food. Cocktail list is nice too.

By far the best food I have had in Vancouver yet. The chicken curry roti was so flavourful and the rum punch was perfectly strong in flavour and alcohol! Our servers were so kind and attentive and great with recommendations. Can’t wait to go back!

There is NO WHERE else in Vancouver that you can catch a sweet vibe, listen to dope Music & the most delicious , flavourful food. This spot ticks all the boxes. We highly recommend it!

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is even better. Everything we ate was bursting with flavour; you can tell the amount of care that went into each dish.

Drinks were great and service was excellent right from the moment we arrived.

So so yummy! Have eaten here before and took my mother-in-law this time and she loved it too. Get the Coconut Dumplings and thank me later, they're mouth watering.
