The food is absolutely amazing and the service is even better. Everything we ate was bursting with flavour; you can tell the amount of care that went into each dish.

Drinks were great and service was excellent right from the moment we arrived.

So so yummy! Have eaten here before and took my mother-in-law this time and she loved it too. Get the Coconut Dumplings and thank me later, they're mouth watering.

Food was awesome as always. And the rum selection is to die for.

The food here was salty. Our table shared food and so we tasted different menu items. The options seemed interesting but the food was not much better than average. Sorry to say as I am from the Caribbean and was hoping it would be good.

This spot is usually mine and my husbands favourite Caribbean restaurant in Vancouver to hit up. We understood that it was a busy Saturday evening to begin with, but we felt that the hostess to servers seemed as if they were rushing and not taking the time to slow down and really ask what the customers what they were needing and wanting. I felt that the staff weren’t as friendly compared to my last visit there in 2019 which disappointed me in many ways. Other than that, food was delicious but portions could have been larger.

Great food and service. Very unique, delicious dishes and drink. We had a great time and everyone around us seemed to be doing the same.

It was my birthday. I wanted to have a nice dinner with friends and dance. The bratender upstairs was not super nice. I said it was my birthday and that I was meeting friends and he said they were booked (I had reservation). Another sweet person said, are you? and told me my friends were downstairs. There was an Australian waitress super rude, interrupted me, ignored me and really made my night not cool. I left without dancing. I had high expectations for my birthday but was quite disappointed. Not very authentic in terms of people working there. I was hoping to have Caribbean people and nicer vibes...

Not too many places In GVA have Caribbean food, and at Calabash it's terrific. The Roti stack is delicious whether you're vegetarian or not. The wait staff are superb, amiable yet efficient. Come here regularly and have never been disappointed.

The food was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We had a really good time here.

The Roti was with very thick bread. The bread was so thick that did me let me taste it’s filling.

This is my 4th time eating hear and it was the worst...no Caribbean taste and too water down...need to sit before serving!!! Service was OK. Waitress too energetic. I will try one more time as I really loved this place when it first opened.

Music was really pounding away on my way drums . Seems to be getting louder.

We have been there 4 times now, each meal has been fantastic, our server was great, the drinks were all bang on, the staff seemed to care about us, it was a great night out and we will definitely be back!

This restaurant is located in a run down neighbourhood nearby YVR Chinatown filled with homeless & drug addicts.

Friendly staff; mediocre food execution; goat meat is tough; the so-called coconut dumplings are merely deep fried dough without any coconut flavor nor any coconut flakes in sight; jerk chicken is not as good as I expected; ox tail stew is very salty.

Ope Table did not list my name on the reservation despite calling to reconfirm and change numbers. - my name was not listed on my reservation - this caused confusion and stress for the attendees and the birthday girl.

Had a great time and the service was great. Between the 6 of us, we tried a variety of dishes and each were fantastic. Would highly recommend the oxtail stew, island tacos, roti stack and the coconut dumplings to share. As for drinks, a variety were ordered and enjoyed but their dark and stormy was the table favorite.

We had a diverse group of tastes and food restrictions in our party of 7, and every single person left raving about their meal. Huge portions, delicious tastes and aromas, attentive and friendly service. If I had to criticize one thing, the bar was quite slow making drinks even though we arrived at 6 before the place filled up. But not slow enough that it changes my 5 star rating!

Food was delicious. Was taken here for birthday. Had the jerk chicken, friend had oxtail, other friend had curry. All amazing. So tender and full of flavor. Would definitely go again!!

LOVED every bit of this restaurant!!! From the incredibly friendly and warm service to the awesome beats and, of course, the tasty food.
We ordered the mussels (my mom could not stop raving about them) and the pork belly to share. We had the oxtail (so good!!), the jerk chicken, and the roti stack as our mains. Very good portion sizes, great value :)
I’ve never really noticed this gem before, despite frequenting the area quite a bit, but it’s now one of my favorites in Vancouver. Can’t wait to come back to check out one of the gigs in the basement lounge!

We came as a group of 6 people. All of us had such a great time, our server was energetic and bubbley. The food was amazing, the hummus was our favourite! Cocktails were great too, they did take a while to make though. We will definitely recommend this restaurant!

I wish I could give a higher rating because I love the food here which keeps me coming back but I left this time extremely disappointed as I am vegan and ordered a vegan dish only to discover the bottom half was full of cheese. This was after I’d eaten the top half and then noticed pieces of cheese in the bottom. The staff was very apologetic but I feel disgusted at the thought of consuming cheese accidentally. They took that item off my bill but I feel more should have been done as this is a serious issue especially if allergies were involved.
