I made reservations for inside and was seated outside in the heat, no misters and in what appeared to be the overflow section. This, in my opinion, would have been the spot to seat walk ins not people who made reservations a week out. The seating was so crowded that when people walked by they hit your chair and when they pulled out their chair to sit they were hitting you in the back of the head. I took a friend here because she had never been and I love the atmosphere inside, not outside in the heat. This was a fail.

This place was a great redemption after my horrible experience at Toca Madera regarding Scottsdale food. The place was very beautiful, the service was amazing, and so was the drink. The food was amazing, I'm still thinking about that food I got. I was also provided a complimentary birthday dessert, which was nice. I would recommend this place for a nice brunch; it will not disappoint

Great food and good service. The seafood appetizers were great. Just be prepared for a lot of bachelorette parties as you dine. Adds a little fun to the ambiance.

Great food and atmosphere. Ceiling needs some work above the plant before the bar, but that is purely esthetics. I came for the food. Buenos Rancheros was amazing. Will definitely tell eat here again next time in the area.

Some of our favorite brunches have been at Cala. My favorite thing--the grilled muffin--is no longer on the menu, but the mezze platter and cocktails have always been fantastic. We recently went for lunch and the service was lacking (had to flag down a server a few times to get things moving), but everyone is allowed to have a bad day. Highly recommend for the atmosphere--it's a bit pricey, but what brunch spot in Old Town isn't?

The atmosphere inside was beautiful, we asked to be sat outside, and they put us along the wall, which had very tiny walking room, and I had my infant with me so they put the highchair on the corner of which then caused walkway issues. Ordered three drinks and an entrée, food was OK ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, tasted like any old pancakes I would’ve gotten anywhere else. Don’t think there was any flavor. Drinks were good , but when it came time for a bill, the waitress never came back and we had to flag down a second waitress- twice before we were able to get the bill in. Came out to over $100 which is expected in Scottsdale and also for three drinks . But overall, they could’ve sent us in a more open area with an infant, that didn’t have the highchair obstructing the walkway and service could’ve been better .
