I took my residents to Cake Bake this week and they had a great time! However, our waitress was not the best. She didn’t offer the table any drinks besides water, and messed up our bill and did not check on us throughout our service. I’ve been to Cake Bake before and this past experience for me was just not what I had expected.

Took our older daughter and 2 granddaughters for the first time while they visited from out of state, along with younger daughter and grandson. It was a wonderful girls day out luncheon and pampering. The whole experience from the decor, service, food, fairy dust for the kids was so nice. Lupe was an awesome waitress and helped make it very special.

funfetti cake was very dry. The cookie used on the ice cream sandwich was so frozen, my niece could not eat the sandwich. She ate the ice cream and took the cookie home, to eat later. (cookie was delicious once it was no longer frozen). Expresso machine not working. I do appreciate the host seating us earlier than our reservation.

The waitress really needed some help with organization. It was mistake after mistake and the same mistakes were being made. One of us was given food that was boxed up from another table. Gross. There were a few slightly awkward and inappropriate comments from the waitress. No manager came to see our table.

Cake tasted good. We were obviously a nuisance to them with our baby, seated and the out the door in just 20 minutes. No 'experience' was included in this expensive outing.

The service was great & the Cake did not disappoint. The crab cakes we ordered were not nearly warm enough though. It was overwhelmingly busy but we sort of expected that but it is a very small space for so many people.

The shop is beautiful. The service was amazing. The price for the food is crazy. The food was good but not good enough to charge the amount I paid for it. It was a fun experience but I wouldn't go back again.

I had lunch today with my dear friend from St. Louis. When she comes for a visit she loves going to Cake Bake. The food and service never lets us down. Everything is special from the time you walk through the door. We are anxiously awaiting the opening of Cake Bake at Disney World. What a perfect fit.

This was my second time at Cake Bake but the first time for my two friends. We were celebrating their birthdays. The service was outstanding as well as the food. I had the Ham Quiche, Blackberry Salad and cup of the Mushroom soup. All were great and I had food leftover to take home. My friend said that the Chicken Velvet soup was some of the best soup that she has ever had. And the desserts were huge and delicious! We shared Mixed Berry Cheesecake, Apple Crumble pie and Key Lime pie. All were fantastic and we had leftovers to take home. Will definitely be back again!

I might recommend it, but for dessert only. We went for lunch and paid far too much for unimpressive, below-average food. My sister got the quiche, which was amazing, but my sandwich and the "arugula salade" were not great. I'd have gotten better food at Panera Bread. The shop is beautiful, but we had to ask to be moved because where we were initially sat, the chairs were so old and broken down that when we sat, we sank and the table top was at chest level. Note to management: Replace those arm chairs at the table next to the front door! They bring water to the table in glass decanters and ours was covered with ugly water spots all around the top, above the water line. My white napkin had a big stain on it. Those are small details but they matter. The cake, which is $16 a slice, was average. It was on the dry side; it crumbled when I used my fork. It looks pretty. Parking is scarce and inconvenient. Be prepared to walk. Service was outstanding - zero complaints there. Everyone was very friendly, yet professional, and adept in their responsibilities. It's great for little girls who like the fancy, sparkly, fairy tale princess theme. Overall, lunch for 3 people, with desserts and tip, was $130, and it was not good enough to make me want to go back. For that price, I expected better.

The Cake Bake Shop is a very special place! My sister and niece were visiting from California and I took them to The Cake Bake Shop in Carmel for lunch and of course cake. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere sparkling. Our server Ivan made us feel very special, especially my little niece. Ivan definitely made the complete experience exceptional!

We were seated close to the kitchen. Pretty noisy. Alot of activity carrying orders out. Servers very nice and attentive.

It was our first time and it was lovely. Food was wonderful, pasta was fresh and flavorful. Quiche was fluffy and melted in our mouth. Cakes didn’t disappoint! I wish our waiter would have been more attentive, but overall a great experience!

I had the most wonderful birthday with my daughter, Molly, and my husband, Randy! The chicken piccata was delicious, and the blueberry coffee was amazing! I enjoyed most of all the appetizer…..Truffle Pommes Fritas ……you must try!!! Needless to say the cake was to die for! I purchased The Cake Bake Shop cook book for my birthday. I’m looking forward to baking my first masterpiece, lol! I’m even thinking of going and taking cake decorating classes! Time for this ICU nurse to retire and have some fun! Enjoy the most beautiful atmosphere……it’s like being in Walt Disney World………magical!
