This is a favorite place to go…great food, beautiful decor and service as well. I always look forward to coming to Cake Bake and am never disappointed. Staff is so friendly, personable and accommodating. After coming a couple of times, I intend to just get cake, but the food is too good not to order lunch. The truffle fries are to die for and the soup is terrific, no matter which one is chosen. Don’t miss it. It is a gem!!

Always fun and magical! Loved our waitress. Even with a reservation I think I waited good 20 minutes past the reservation time. Overall food was good and enjoyed it.

This was a delightful experience. The ambiance is just perfect, with amazing decor. We loved the story of the fairy dust, and my granddaughters were mesmerized! The servings were huge; I would rather have smaller portions with more reasonable prices. I would like to suggest having a cake sampler item on the menu. This would allow patrons to sample several cakes/desserts, rather an oversized serving of just one dessert. The only downside was the high prices. With this pricing, I will only be able to visit every five years or so, if that. We ordered a few specialty drinks, salads, and shared a few desserts. Without the gift cards I purchased, the bill would have been about $200.00. An enchanting experience, if pricey.

Service was inattentive. Food isn’t as good as it once was. They are not changing decor for the seasons this year I guess (my server had no idea and didn’t offer to find out when I asked if Halloween decor was still to come). Overall, I was underwhelmed.

We had two reservations, but the manager could only find 1, (I had images of each on my phone) so two from our party needed to sit at the bar. Despite there being possibilities in at least three locations for our party to dine together or just closer together, management put forth zero effort, but lots of excuses. Yes, there may have been others with reservations, however they either were a no show or the tables were simply not reserved. It was my mother’s 82 Birthday, with relatives from 4 states to celebrate. My niece and I sat at the bar, because we weren’t allowed to pull up chairs to join our party. We were told that we couldn’t block the exit. Okay, but the exit was already blocked by extra chairs…high chair, a tree and a large dehumidifier. So in short, I am terribly disappointed in the manager and his arrogance. He was not helpful, apologetic or flexible.

What a great place for my mother’s a60th birthday. She felt like a queen and so special. The staff was so friendly, food was amazing, and the cake was out of this world. The ambiance was perfect for pictures.

I brought family visiting from overseas and they loved the ambiance. Our server was very friendly and we felt very welcomed. I have had some unpleasant experiences at the other location, so I’m glad I gave this location a try. We dined in for the first time and all of the food we ordered was delicious and portion size was perfect. The cakes are beautiful and we took many pictures. I even called to move my reservation to a later time and the lady on the phone was very accommodating. We will be back again soon!

Noise/echo on the porch where there is a table of 8 or more is loud. Not sure you do to can fix the issue. Door handle in women's bathroom off of one stall needs attention. Waitress needs to return in a more timely manner. Food outstanding and generous portions.

My daughter’s birthday cake flavor tasted like vinegar. When i reserved the spot, i made a note about my daughters birthday and told them when we were there that we came for her birthday and they didn’t do the sparkles, have a note on the table, or have anything special done like we have seen other guests done for their daughters’ birthdays. The atmosphere was beautiful and the other cakes were good but overall, the experience was disappointing.

The chicken salad was bland and had too much chicken versus other ingredients. The French onion soup wasn’t as robust in beefy flavor as I’d like. But the ambiance is awesome.

I know the Cake Bake is a bit pricy. However the food and desserts are wonderful. Ambiance is amazing and a great place to take a visitor or to celebrate an event.

I dined here multiple times and always had a wonderful experience but this last time was a little lacking. We were 10 min early but not seated for 15 min although the table we were eventually seated at was empty the entire time, the person seating us was acutally a little rude, again unusual but maybe she was having a bad day. The table was right next to the bar, which I don't reccomend as the bartender is the server and leads to slow service. The food, as always, was delicious and the atmosphere charming.

It was our Mom's 80th birthday and it was so special! Our hostess was so kind and thoughtful and Mom enjoyed it so much! Mom's mimosa and our lattes were delicious and the desserts were absolutely decadent.

My experience was good, but I would say not exceptional. I felt that the food was not up to the hype that is known for this venue and did not justify the high cost. The venue itself was very quaint, cozy, and fun. The server was exceptionally friendly and overall the staff did a wonderful job of meeting expectations in order to achieve a successful birthday for the guest. The lunch meal was good, but seemed average. The cake was an overall disappointment. While very elegant and beautiful, the taste was bland and not moist. The cake felt as though it had been baked, frozen, and pulled out to decorate the day of. Overall, the Cake Bake Shop maybe of value for a very special occasion due to the high cost, but for me, I will not be back.

It was my daughters birthday celebration and i had asked for balloons to be put at the table, since usually they have done this in the past if requested. No birthday balloons once we were sat, but they did put a candle in her piece of cake we bought her and gave her glitter dust to blow into it. That made up for the balloons. Food was great, except my husbands cake he ordered he said tasted as if it was thawed out and not moist at all. Its expensive when we order 4 slices of cake to go and they were all just ok. Been so much tastier in the past. Overall, my daughter had a great experience so all that matters.

My aunt and cousin came into town and together with my mother we had an amazing lunch, complete with DESSERT!, at Cake Bake! We had fun at the surrounding shops before lunch and then enjoyed every part of our visit. The staff was a 10 / 5 in friendliness, helpfulness, and attentiveness. We loved the atmosphere and the BEAUTY all around us. Our food was wonderful and I do believe that the cakes we had were the BEST and FRESHEST we have ever had there. We took our grandson here for his birthday dinner. He chose this restaurant because of the cakes and his piece did not disappoint. The service was reasonably good and the ambience with all the flowers and twinkling lights provided a unique setting. However, I found it to be overpriced for what we got. I had half a salad and a small cup of soup for $23. There was nothing special about the salad, and although they said the chicken velvet soup was the LS Ayres recipe, I found it to be watery. Our grandson enjoyed his steak, but at $51 it cost more than if we went to a quality steakhouse. If you're looking for ambience and you're willing to spend a lot of money, this place is for you.

The atmosphere is totally magical!! We were smitten with the outside and inside appearance! We were greeted by quite a few staff members at the door (almost to many-they seemed uncomfortably close), who all were very nice. We were seated right away and our order taken by our lovely waitress. The cake slice was massive, but delicious and was able to take it home. I almost wish one of the many people at the door would have suggested that we take a quick walk through the bakery shop part before being seated to lay eyes on the yummy dessert offerings to make a better decision. Overall, it was fantastic experience.
