Caffe Torino - Oro Valley
Very pleasant evening. Good service, good food and generally quieter in the second room. We always enjoy dining at Cafe Torino.
Perfecto! Our Italian guests were very impressed with the food preparation and the wine cellar. What a gem.
Made a reservation and our table was ready for us upon arrival. Pizza was delicious, pasta was heavenly, wait staff was very attentive. Would dine here again next time I am in Tucson.
Its always a pleasure to dine at Café Torino. The food is always excellent and the service is great. They have a very good wine selection also. I enjoy the outdoor patio on a decent weather day.
Caffe Torino is my favorite Italian Restaurant in Tucson. I always order the chicken marsala gluten free option. The flavor of the sauce is awesome!
Cafe Torino is one of our go to restaurants. Great food in a nice atmosphere and reasonable price.
So glad to have had a wonderful lunch after a near miserable dinner a Few weeks earlier.
I’m going to assume that dinner was a fluke.
Nice evening with friends. Thanks
Cafe Torino is one of our very favorite restaurants!
Everything was very good!
Horrible service. Cold food. We waited 20 minutes for our salads and had to wait nearly an hour for our entrees, which were served cold. The waiter seemed unconcerned when we mentioned that we thought it was unacceptable. He comped us one dessert. For a Saturday night, it was not busy. There were empty tables and the wait staff were not really busy. Huge disappointment after hearing how good it was supposed to be.
Delicious. Always have a great dinner here. Great neighborhood restaurant.
The food was delicious. Brody was an excellent server. Very noisy and a crowded booth for six adults. But, we’ll go back because the food is delicious.
The food is mediocre. Lasagna pasta was over cooked making the dish mushy. The crab cakes have been better prepared in a previous time. The were very greasy with an oily taste. The spaghetti was good.
Great as usual. Loved the pizza and caesar salad. The server was most accommodating with diners' dietary needs. Very nice wine list.
Caffe Torino is usually one of our favorite restaurants in the Oro Valley area. On this occasion the food was very good but our server was uninterested, got one order wrong and appeared to be sleep walking.
Waiter was wonderful but was handicapped by a SLOW kitchen. Took an hour to get our order. Fish was ok, but the flat iron steak was tough and cold. If you go here it is best to stick with the pasta dishes. There are many places better than here.
Great meals. Great conversation. Twice the waitress rushed off before everyone could order what they would like which made for an uncomfortable situation. Otherwise perfect meal.
Good solid neighborhood italian spot. Consistent food and service. Special shoutout to the cioppino, veal dishes and seafood specials. Small but reasonable wine list.
Food was good but not outstanding.
Very enjoyable dinner with my husband. Service was attentive, food excellent.
Recommended by a friend and two strangers. The restaurant lived up to it's advance billing. My wife had the eggplant parmesan and I had rigatoni with sausage. Both were delicious but huge. We also shared a terrific Caesar salad. We took home half of the main meal. The total cost was about $55.00 including tax and tip. Go! Buy! Eat!
Always a plea
The food is excellent...never had a bad meal or experience in there. We also love their bread and oil! The pork shank and lamb chops are superior!
Good service but the food was disappointing. The bread was actually fantastic but my salmon was over cooked and pretty bland. My fellow diners were, unfortunately also disappointed.
We had a fabulous meal!
Very slow service. Took two hours start to finish. The food was served cold. Normally we have a good experience so maybe it was an off night. But can't tell you the food was worth it because cold pizza is pretty nasty. And three of us ordered pizza. At one point one pizza was delivered to our table and looked pretty good but then they rushed over and took it away. Said it was someone else's. Just not a good experience overall.
We enjoy Caffe Torino and the food didn't let us down. Having to wait ten minutes
before being seated was annoying and the service was pretty slow.
Always pleasant, food always really good. That’s why we return frequently!
still the best food and great all around at this Oro Valley location.
Maybe they were having a bad night. The baked brie was undercooked. My wife's salmon was so salty she couldn't finish it. We reported it to our server. My pasta sauce was good, but the meatballs were lukewarm. When we got home, Open Table reported that we hadn't shown up at the restaurant. Wish we hadn't.
Service was excellent. Food was served promptly and was hot.
The food was great and came very fast. The meal also included fresh bread and balsamic olive oil. the seating at the Oro Valley location is fairly restrictive; most booths are close to bar or kitchen. The wine selection was OK; included most popular varieties by glass or bottle. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Dinner for two at $21 each for entrees came to $75 with tax and tip.
Mediocre food, lackluster service. The high point was that it was quiet enough to chat. Not sure I will be back.
We met friends from out of town for dinner at Caffe Torino. One of our friends is very tall and large and had trouble sitting in the booth where we were seated. So as soon as possible, the host moved us to a very nice table in the back where our friend could comfortably enjoy his meal, and it was also somewhat quieter. The wait staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful, even though it was a Saturday night in high season. We always enjoy our meals there, and this time was no exception. But it is the service that sets the place apart.
Not sure if it was because of being the day after Valentine's or Friday night, but the reservations were very backed up. Have been here before when it's been busy, but this was crazy. We were seated 20 minutes late and then only because someone in front of us had given up. Service once we were seated very spotty. Caffe Torino one of our favorite restaurants, but very disappointing. Food was excellent as always.
Never coming back to this place.. the service was horrible, my food took FOREVER to come out even though they hardly even had customers which I thought was odd and once it came out it was cold.
Chef walked out during our meal preparation. We waited over an hour for three of our four meals, hour and half for the fourth. They did comp us for two drinks and the fourth meal.
Has gone down hill lately. Used to be a gem. They are not making sure each item is prepared properly. Appetizers with bunt toast not even warm. Possibly too busy
