The food was so good and we were able to sit outside to enjoy al fresco dining but still within the comfort of the corridor adjacent to the restaurant, rather than on sidewalk outside.
We eat here often as it’s been our go to well prior to Covid. Large patio and street seating makes it easy. However this eve we had 3 people at our table.
Service was horrible. Zero coordination between the staff. Maybe they were understaffed, but there seemed to be plenty of servers , bus people.
Look it’s been difficult at best over the last year but Caffe Roma has been a bastion of normalcy, but this evening it was a very bad experience.
Always lovely & warm & friendly
Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. Came here with my girlfriend for a bunch and we enjoyed everything from the atmosphere to the yummy food & wine we indulged on
Awful table at the back, I’ve been to this restaurant a dozen times or so. Trying to be supportive post-pandemic but no excuse for the sloppiness of service. How badly does a restaurant get it wrong to deliver an entree to one diner when the rest are on deserts ... ???
Kyle tried hard but really wasn’t up to par.
Never again, sadly.
Ling-time favorite. Will not disappoint.
I especially appreciate the interior patio so that I'm not sitting on the sidewalk. I feel more protected and the ambiance is nicer.
Food had zero taste.. very over priced
Very nice spot for appetizers and dinner in Beverly Hills.
Excellent service! Would definitely come back.
Music is nice and the food was good.
Wonderful for a birthday!!
We were being server served by several different servers, but none of them were communicating with each other. We ordered bread with our soup, it came after the soup was done as we were eating dinner. The bread was essentially breakfast toast for $3.50. I don’t mind the price for good bread, but this was basically white bread sliced a little thick and then toasted. It did not compliment an Italian meal at all. I ordered a double espresso and it never came, but it made it to the bill. Not completely terrible experience, but I wouldn’t go again. Having said that, the food we ordered was better than average, but the experience was consistently wondering if the servers forgot about us.
Overall just beautiful food and restaurant. Def will coming back again.
This was a big “meh”. The calzone was cold and cheese not even close to melted inside. Sent back when Simone finally came around and they made us a new one - still cold. The salad was just okay too. Too many solid Italian options in BH. Wouldn’t do this again.
AMAZING the best Italian food I’ve ever had it was heaven
Loved every minute of it. Each of us got one dish and shared, the most outstanding being the dessert and the penne vodka
Great food, okay service. Not really a brunch place as indicated on Tripadvisor
The food and service was impeccable. Will definitely come back!
Great food and setting outside for friends and family.
Great food and service
We were the only table without heater :/
Lovely setting; good salad and very good service; no complaints here.
Chill low key spot
Pasta was uncooked. Then it was brought all broken in small pieces
Been coming here for quite a while now. Service standards have gone way down. Hard to get a waiters attention. Food is excellent.
Was disappointed not to be told ahead of time of a covid fee on our bill. This restaurant is one of the lucky ones to still be open due to loyal customers - my family owns very very well known restaurant in Beverly Hills would never impose such a fee
I will just say this: Food is great! Serving staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside was that my party of 7 was seated at 2 tables instead of 1. Which I didn’t mind because I understand due to covid. However, there was a table next to us that was seating 7. When they left, we asked to be moved to that table and they told us no parties over 6 were allowed to sit together?? That made no sense because we literally just saw a table of 7 sit together, eat and then leave. Frustrating but it is what it is. Overall a good experience otherwise.
Food and service were pretty good. We had no problems with our order, other than we thought the food was a bit pricey for what we ordered. The biggest issue we had was a surprise “COVID-19“ charge that appeared on our bill when it arrived. We thought that this was a cheesy way for the restaurant to make money, without any prior notice when we made our reservation or when we arrived. It was our feeling that if a special cost was to be added to our bill, it should’ve been noticed somewhere, on the reservation, the menu, and on the website.
Great, but expensive
They wouldn’t honor the reservation, they said they closed their kitchen at 11:30, we got there at 11:15 for the 11:15 reservation.. i called ahead of time to confirm and they wasted our time standing there 15 mins and then said they’re closed
I honestly was disappointed by the outdoor patio only because it looked different/bigger/prettier in the photos
We loved Caffe Roma! Great spot for people watching and a good meal :)
Cute restaurant, great service and decent food for the price and area.
Caffe Roma is in an amazing location. Quiet and wonderful ambience. Service is very good - what you would expect in this area. Love that it is a few streets down from Rodeo Drive so is a little quieter. Authentic Italian cuisine. Simple and very very enjoyable. Could literally stay here all day!
Food was fantastic! We were, however, seated at a table outside that couldn’t have a heater and it was a bit chilly! Would have been nice to know before we sat down, but overall experience was great!
My partner and myself had a great time at Cafe Roma. Was quiet and very nice. The food was incredible and the service as well. Definitely recommend.
Service was great, stuff was nice and courteous. Menu was a bit overpriced though.
Overall, it was a positive experience. Definitely, a nice place to go during this COVID era.
Food was mediocre, service was not good
