I used to think there was only one GREAT Italian Restaraunt in Beverly Hills...E.baldi!
I was wrong! Michele has made CAFFÉ Roma what I would say is “one of the top 3 Italian Restaraunt in Los Angeles.”
You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Excellent!!!! As always😊👏
Came here with just a party of two and the staff was super kind and attentive. We got seated immediately. The noise level was fairly loud but not bothersome and the ambiance was was pretty good as well. Would definitely come back :)
I'm always able to reserve a spot here. Food is good. Service is good. I like the calamari salad. Pizza is good too. I'm not a dog person but this place is dog friendly. They have a menu for dogs.
Fresh food and excellent service, we felt like if we were at home, comfortable setting outdoors! Highly recommend!
I love this place! My boyfriend and I are planning to come every other week for Italian!! Thanks Caffe Roma!
Too crowded and noisy. Uncomfortable and probably not safe. Service; staff and management not very caring. Food ok.
Happy hour not that great anymore...only 3 options ...service slow and had to ask several times for the same thing. On a positive note, they are open and have lots of availability during non peak hours for covid happy hour
Amazing place!! Honestly the best pasta ever, yet everything on the menu that we tried was fabulous including the drinks .
We are frequent customers of Caffe Roma, and our recommendation comes from years of excellent dining experience at this establishment.
Hostess, “Kim” is a perfect representative for
Caffe Roma with a winning pleasant and gracious manner.
If you are searching for an oasis from the day’s pressures, visit Caffe Roma. You won’t be disappointed.
I no longer work in Beverly Hills, so it's been a while since I've been there. The food and service was as good as I remember. One point off each for ambience and noise because we chose a table closest to the street instead of the courtyard. Not their fault.
It was very beautiful but it really depends where you sit. We were orginally seated all the way back next to a store with a big family. The host weren’t too friendly but with some persuasion we were able to move
Owner is great; he’s a good guy who tried to make us feel welcome. Sat in the atrium al fresco. Unfortunately an extremely loud and obnoxious group of drunk men and women sat close to us and there was a point where my girlfriend and I were literally yelling at each other to have a conversation. Not good. The owner specifically asked us if we wanted to take our time. We answered yes please, and he offered with our agreement to bring our meal (roast chicken and Branzino) in 30 minutes. We were a bit taken back when the waiter brought the food 5 minutes later. There were several other things exactly like that where the owner tried to accommodate us and the server staff did not execute our requests. When we did get our food my chicken was tough and the roasted potatoes were very greasy. I love a good Italian plate of food, but this was sloppily prepared. My Girlfriend’s Branzino was prepared at our table and the server did a great job boning and serving the dish. We got a reprieve from the obnoxious group’s cackling when the men left and the women had no one to perform for. We asked for light dressing on our salads and again what we asked for was not carried out. If you like your Caesar salad swimming in dressing then you’ll be happy. It is tasty dressing. What was more tasty was the creme brûlée and the Italian Tartufo. I think the people who were providing our meal were working hard. It is a tough job. I just think there was a bit of a communication problem going on. I can live with that. What I can’t live with is my credit card information being stolen and a fraudulent purchase attempted the next day. Without giving all the details, I am positive it happened at this restaurant. Be careful. I think for that reason alone I would pause before trying this place again. Bring cash. Parking was another fiasco where they locked up the lot at 11:30pm on a Saturday night. Right. Not recommended if you are taking a date.
The music was a little loud but overall amazing experience
Good place. We were here not for the first time, so like it. Good people and service. Recommend it.
Dry chicken. Steaks were over cooked and try even when requesting rare. Over priced and horrible service.
This place was nothing to write home about. It’s not like an Italian restaurant that was not run by Italians. The food was mediocre at best. The garlic bread which is usually a hit at every restaurant was pure unadulterated royal garlic and very hard to eat/digest. I ordered a pasta Primavera that was very ordinary. Also this restaurant is very expensive
They won't have any table available even when you make a reservation. The hostess was also not helpful at all. We had to keep asking her for an update and after more than 30 min wait, she showed a table that got available but she acted like we were wasting her time when we asked if a better table was free and we ended up leaving because of the poor service.
Went on a Wednesday night for dinner and it was an amazing experience and decided to go back on Saturday night !!! DISASTRO ! service was no up to the standards from my previous visit the waiter that had our tables seemed overwhelmed abd was more worry about his big tables , took the drink order never came back to take the antipasto finally showed up and took the entire order we asked for more bread and was never brought to us by the time they brought the food we were not in the mood to keep drinking as we wanted to have a few cocktails with appetizers then dinner , was very disappointed and surprised as this is not their usual
staff is always wonderful here, super nice and attentive!!!
Pleasant COVID-era experience in the breezeway outside. Took group of 8 for elderly mom’s birthday on Sunday night. Party was split into two groups as required and we table-hopped with masks as we could. Food is reliable and good, if pricey for what it is basic Italian(about $66 pp including an app and like 1 cocktail each and no desserts.) Only complaint is service was on the slower side, granted, was busy. Parking easy in the lot off Crescent and didn’t even get charged for some reason. Would return.
Good place to dine
Caffe Roma was wonderful food. My boyfriend and I chose to go here for the last night of DineL.A. It was a wonderful menu they prepared and all the dishes were great. One of the appetizers stood out in particular. The Burrata with heirloom tomatoes, cucumber and basil was the best dish of the night.
Birthday celebration was good.. food was great and drink selections were good as well.. the service was “ok”..
This was the best dine la deal of them all! So happy I went and I'm grateful I now have a new place I will love going to! I loved the ambiance- definitely a come as you are kinda spot without the pretentious aspect at some other Beverly hills spots. But it's also authentically classy! Best of all worlds!
I believe Caffé Roma was able to deliver good service in such trying times. However, I feel it was overpriced for what we got.
Great food, great service!
Poor service, poor food quality, worse service
They gave me a drink in a dirty cup with someone else’s lipstick on it
Son’s birthday dinner
Not the nicest waiters.
Great dining experience! Delicious salads! And the service was excellent! This may become a regular go to spot for me.
Excellent service and food - ambiance was perfect!
I love going to cafe Roma. Been going there for years. I am so glad they are open again.
The best place for Italian food. Specially pizza
Overall a great place !! The waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people that they had and maybe understaffed but it was a great experience
From the service of the manager to the server to the host all terrible service they treat people as if they don’t need or want you to be there by making not making the customer a priority never even driving by this place huge disappointment.
