Went to Cafe Regatta for restaurant week and to celebrate a friend's birthday. Excellent service. The food was hot and delicious. The seafood ravioli was homemade. The dessert, creme brulee and the pistachio cheesecake, were out of this world!!! Want to go back just for dessert!! Can't wait to return.
Food was fantastic, although servings should have been a little larger. Service was attentive & not rushed. Will definitely return!
Love the Cafe Regatta, the brunch is wonderful and you get a great bang for your buck if you use a Groupon. Staff is efficient and friendly, just love this place.
Seafood was great.
Great Cold platter for a good price.
Good scallops dish.
Service was also good and friendly.
The hamburger was not good though. Stick to the seafood
Great to spend valentine's day but also one of our favorite local restaurants.
Food and service was excellent... our favorite place to go for a great meal; this time enjoyed with friends who enjoyed the food...
Overall great food and great service. There is always a relaxing atmosphere and you are never rushed. Great place for date night , special occasion or just a night out
We had a lovely evening catching up with friends over a very nice dinner. Our waiter was helpful and service was attentive . Although the restaurant filled up quickly, we were never rushed. Food was delicious. Would definitely return.
We always have a great meal at Caffe Regatta.
Good food, good ambience, good service.
Been there before. Food excellent and service attentive, not overbearing. Clean, cozy, noise level under control.
Good food but uneven service
I made the reservations and was 15 minutes early. They were very attentive and directed us to the bar to start on drinks. The food was really good. I found it via groupon and the experience was memorable.
Food very good for 3 out of 4 dishes. OK for the fourth. Very accommodating in preparation of fish the way requested. A weeknight so somewhat busy but not full, and conducive to conversation. Very comfortable, with attentive service.
Caffe R is always a dependable meal with great service
The spring rolls were frozen and the lobster was chewy. The only thing I enjoyed was the glass of wine.
Yummy as always. Never disappoints . Always a perfect meal.
A great local restaurant in Pelham. It is the mid-point between friends who live in CT and on LI, and we have been meeting there at least twice per year for 6-7 years now, and have always had an excellent meal and friendly service. the food is delicious, and creative, and they don't "overload" you with portions (as restaurants with lesser quality food often do!). And, the price is right. Highly recommended.
Caffe Regatta is a special place in downtown Pelham - a jewel in the crown!
As always food was incredible service was impeccable.
Food was terrible, they served us oysters that smell and service was very bad
Great local place for good food and ambiance. Totally enjoyed the lobster dinner, would recommend to my friends.
Always enjoy coming here. The food is wonderful, as is the service. You definitely get good value for your money as far as I'm concerned.
Lobster eggs Benedict virtually no lobster for $18 hollandaise had no flavor. Noise level loud
Lobster cocktail and Salmon delicious. Keystrokes.
My husband and I dined at Caffe Regatta for the first time for restaurant week. Overall I would say our experience was average mostly due to the food. The level of service we received was excellent and would be the reason we'd consider returning. We chose not to partake in the restaurant week menu as it wasn't to our liking but that was okay. We shared crab cakes for an appetizer that were very flavorful and a good enough portion (2) for us to share. Ample crab and not an excess amount of filler. Dinner however we were less than impressed with unfortunately. My husband had the maple salmon and it had a few bones in it and was very sweet. I had the shrimp scampi and I thought that was sweet as well. To make up for the bones in his salmon the server gave us a piece of carrot cake and it was delicious. Our server checked on us multiple times without being pushy or disrupting our conversation and he, without any complaints from us presented us with desert. This was a wonderful gesture and not necessary but his service throughout the overall dining experience will be the reason we try Caffe Regatta again.
Another great evening at Cafe Regatta. We were there during restaurant week and their dinner menu featured several creative, seasonal offerings. My husband opted to order lobster off the regular menu and said it was perfectly cooked. Service was warm and welcoming as usual. Always enjoy our visits there.
I was there a few months ago and everything was great. This time -- not so much. I had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were powdery and the sauce was definitely not butter and garlic.
Always perfection! Muscles phenomenal, pinot noir delish... usually get the grouper cause it's so yummy but switched it up and got the salmon wasn't disappointed. Seafood pasta outstanding! Pics are seafood pasta and salmon.
Nice brunch with a wide choice. Excellent service.
Food was great , ordered from the specials. Good sea food choices. Staff was friendly, seated at the time of our reservation. Parking was tough, but worth it.
I like this place -- good food, decent prices, excellent service -- but it is noisy, mostly from raucous patrons. It seems like it's not sure what vibe it wants -- the food and prices are upscale, but the ambiance is neighborhood. When I spend this much on a nice dinner, I want a quieter, more sophisticated vibe.
Waiter was most unattentive. I had to ask him for the bread for the table.
Perfect delicious lobsters. Great calamari. Wonderful dinner
Delicious food with all the right touches...fried goat cheese inn the spinach salad...delicious. We had lobsters that were broiled to perfection. Definitely worth the trip from Long Island up there.
Also our waiter, Luis was super attentive without being obtrusive!
Can't wait togo back!
Nice cozy place. Food is good. Our service staff didn't seem "with it" although I noticed that there were other waitstaff who were more on top of things and more focused.
We waited a while before I had to ask the busboy for someone to take our drink order.
Our waitstaff didn't seem like he wanted to work - didn't make recommendations, disinterested and just wanted us to order and not make substitutions. Wasn't rude or anything, just not "with it".
We'd ordered a seafood tower that involved using fingers and hands (lobster claw wasn't cracked for us) but were given no wet towels and no seafood crackers until they were asked for. Details like these matter if Cafe Regatta wants to be taken seriously as an upscale seafood restaurant since the prices do reflect as such.
The food was delicious and the ambiance was nice. We felt that the service was very rushed and it wasn't even crowded. We had to slow the wait staff a few times. We'll definitely try this restaurant again and hope for better service.
The Veal Milanese needed a ragout or gravy component, too bland and dry with small portion of creamed spinach. The burrata appetizer was excellent. Oh sorry
I have to say the silverware was sub-par, we were told it was being replaced. Very sharp edges
Would love to go again
We had a great time wonderful service we can t wait to return again. staff made us feel special.
The service was excellent, food delicious!
Would definitely recommend it family and friends.
I don't know what restaurant all of the other reviewers went to, but Caffe Regatta is terrible. From the small details like rock hard rolls, and stone cold butter, to large issues like obviously microwave reheated food and Loud (I'm assuming) regulars screatching at the bar 4' away, this restaurant offended every one of my senses.
