About Caffe Dell'Amore
In creating our Cafe, we wanted to bring a piece of Italy to Naples, Florida. As in Italy you'll find a small, family run restaurant, where the owners are the chefs. Our menu is not large, but what we offer is undoubtedly of the finest quality available, made with passion and love! There are no trans fats, no preservatives, no pre-made sauces or artificial flavorings. The recipes and ingredients are as they were 100 years ago. As one of our guests said, "Dining at Caffe dell'Amore is like a trip to Italy, without the passport". Our Chef/Owners passionately dedicate themselves to seeking out the very best ingredients, hand selecting locally grown, organic produce for ripeness and flavor and they use only organic meats and wild catch seafood. Fragrant Italian meats and luscious cheeses are flown in daily. Scrumptious bread and deserts are lovingly baked every morning. All served in our award winning, romantic, well appointed dining room, that was hand painted by an Italian artist

Caffe Dell'Amore Ratings and Reviews
This was the second time I dined at Caffe Dell'Amore and I'm looking forward to returning often.
It is lovely for that special occasion, but don't wait for a special occasion to enjoy a extraordinarily prepared meal. Your taste buds will dance with delight after each course you experience at Coffee Dell'Amore.
My girlfriend and I went for dinner and her birthday. The place was extremely authentic Italian. The service was superb as was the food. We had such a romantic time, ate delicious homemade pasta and bread, they even brought a piece of flourless chocolate cake with vanilla and strawberry ice cream with a lit candle to celebrate the occasion. Everything about Caffe dell' Amore was perfect!!!
This was not our first visit to Caffe Del' Amore, but iris likely our last. It was very disappointing due to churlish comments to us by Dominic , who is the Proprietor.
To begin I had previously dined there with my family last Christmas Eve and again in February with a group of eleven business partners and associates from out of town. Both special occasions, both excellent experiences. The food, service and ambience put it high on our list. A bit pricey but worth it for a special event if a reservation could be had. That changed last night.
We had a 7 pm reservation. We arrived and we're seated in a very small private alcove of the main dining room. This alcove was set up with two tables for four in very close proximity--too close as it turned out.
We ordered wine and dinner in due course and were waiting for the food to arrive. During this time four diners were seated at the adjacent table. They were loud talkers and the acoustics in the alcove made things unpleasant. We said nothing to them. My wife got up and approached Dominic, requesting to be relocated. He told her they would do so and that it would take a few minutes. A few minutes later we thought we were told they were ready, we got up and stepped to the station wehere Dominic greets arriving diners. As it turned out they were no quite ready to seat us, but the noise level was much lower there and so we stood for a couple of minutes, then were reseated. No diners arrived or departed during this time and nothing untoward occurred to my observation. Dominic came by the table shortly afterward and made the comment that "you could hear a pin drop in the alcove". I thought it was odd and unnecessary, but didn't react nor did my dining companions. He then walked around the table to where my wife was seated and made a passing comment to her which we all heard. He said "To the moon, Alice". We recognized it as a demeaning andderogatory statement from Jackie Gleason to his wife. We sa
It's not much to look at from the street, as it's in a strip-mall like complex. But it's much nicer inside. They offer wine and beer only. The dishes are authentic Italian; which, to be honest, I am not used to. The tomato / pasta dishes were a little too acidic for me. But I will say, the gnocchi was out of this world. The servers were very professional and pleasant; not rushing you in the least bit.
The restaurant is very small and you might get in a corner which is cramped not good. The wall we were near was dirty - a supposed 5 star place needs to be clean. The food was tasty but a little pricy. It was just ok, but it is across the street from the beach
Gathering with friends. Portions were small but good. I ordered sea scallops and shrimp, they were not sea scallops but looked like Bay scallops disappointing. My friends ordered ravioli and veal both dishes excellent but small portions. I had burr at a for an appetizer it was excellent.
We have had great meals here and we recently brought friends with us who had never been there. I recommended one of my favorite dishes ; Cacio e Pere -
a pasta with gorgonzola and pear. It was not like I remembered it; very bland and we
could taste no gorgonzola in the filling. It was pasty and tasteless.
I asked our server if we could get some gorgonzola crumbles and was told they had no
gorgonzola in the kitchen. That seemed odd.......but when the owner stopped and ask
how our meal was we told him that we could taste no gorgonzola in the dish, his response
was more surprising. "It is the same recipe we always serve ; it is a subtle cheese" and
walked away. Okay, but it is not the same as on my previous visit. The dish was very disappointing but much worse was his attitude. My friends and I will not be returning.
Dominic greeted us at the door like a true warm Italian would; The high level of service from the various people who waited on us catered to our every need; Dominic checked in on us several times to make sure we were 100% happy. The venue is small but extremely clean and very authentic. The extensive menu is all cooked to order (gluten free pasta) and is made with the freshest of ingredients, the olives in the salad are straight from Italy and yes, you can taste the difference. The restaurant is located inside of a Plaza but once you step inside you feel like you're in a small Italian village. Their homemade Italian desserts as well as their Sea salt caramel gelato are amazing. Probably the best Italian restaurant in Naples.
