Childhood friends Alessandro Ercoli, Gianpietro Silardi, and Lino Savoia opened this typical Italian restaurant back in 1990. This was our first time here & we dine out quite q bit & Italian is our favorite. The atmosphere was charming & the service was good but the portions were small & the prices were high for what you get. The pasta was too plain, I ordered the rigatoni with the gorgonzola sauce, it would have been better with some prosciutto & peas added. The cappuccino's were served hot but the Espresso creme brulee was so cold & tasted more like a cold gelatin than a creamy warm custard with a carmelized top. They don't have parking so we expected to pay for valet but overall, it just wasn't worth the drive to Malibu.

We are known to serve more than average sizes, we apologize if yours came out as a mistake. Our veal, steak, and most of the pasta are really abundant, most customers can't even finish them. Rigatoni "prosciutto and panna" is a "dated recipe from the past". We use our imported gorgonzola and we do not like to mix it with meat to keep distinct flavors. We hope you can come back and offer you a 2nd chance.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and the food is always great. Service, ambiance is always great as well. Price seems very fair when compared to similar restaurants. With all of this said I will never go here again for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc. the kitchen is too small for a completely sold out restaurant, food took 70 minutes to get to the table even with a limited menu. Everyone was apologetic and friendly. I will go back to this restaurant again and again but be warned to stay away on the big dates.

This restaurant is exquisite. Truly lovely, a tucked away gem within the Palisades where it seems as though only mostly locals know about it (creating even more of a lovely atmosphere). You feel at once at home, as well as at a place perfect for a quiet, cozy, romantic date. My husband and I have eaten here several times now, and the food always pairs perfectly with the atmosphere. Beautiful steaks and fresh pastas, nightly specials; also perhaps the best fillet in the Palisades. Our favorites include the creamy burrata and delicate carpaccio paired with a bottle of wine. The branzino is also out of this world (and we aren't usually drawn to fish at an Italian restaurant, but this is certainly one to try). The staff are very welcoming and sincere; and the entire experience is one you'll want to revisit. Truly a favorite place, in our little Village.

We love coming here for the ambiance of the place. The food isn’t as good as it was before Covid. I was under-impressed. Still a good place to go. We saw a woman working behind the counter snickering and or gasping about someone’s tip they left (times are tight with inflation) and flirting with the cook and eating behind the counter. At least she was having fun. Lol.

Very quaint & cozy restaurant. Service was outstanding and very attentive throughout our dining experience. We had several appetizers; eggplant parmigiana which was very good, the bruschetta was perfectly made & the burrata salad was fresh & very tasty. The OssoBuco with Risotto was outstanding. The homemade pasta with White Truffles was delicious (yet pricey) but worth it. We weren't crazy about the homemade gnocchi & would not get that again. The tiramisu and chocolate flourless cake were amazing! Wasn't impressed with the Apple Tartlet a’ la Mode. We would definitely go back.

Service was very slow repeatedly throughout the evening. Portions were greatly reduced from what I have experienced in the past 5 years of eating there. And on a Saturday night, when the place was clearly packed, that is not the time to be running out of the flourless chocolate cake for which the restaurant is known for all over the internet. They're also seem to be confusion among the staff who was servicing our table. In a prior 5 years of eating there and it's always been a fabulous meal and experience. Last night was pretty bad. Dessert was great and the wine was excellent that everything else was definitely subpar.

All the meals were delicious. Spinach and beet salad with pistachios and cheese. Veal chop cooked Milanese style was huge. Branzino is prepared beautifully, but I noticed much smaller piece than pre-pandemic/inflation days. Would absolutely come back. Charming interior. Great neighborhood restaurant.

We had a fabulous dinner! The veal lasagna appetizer is amazing and big enough for an entre or to share with the table. The pesto pastas were very tasty. Service and everything was great. We will be back soon!

Valet lost our car keys - took us 40 minutes to get out car which changed our opinion , was it really worth it to wait this long?

Unfortunately, the valet service is a separate entity, and most of the time we are not responsible for what they are doing. Still, we will personally relay this information to them and will not create the same inconvenience again.
