   Another pleasant experience at Cafe Abbrachi. Usually we do lunch tonight supper. Prefer the lunch experience frankly. Less expensive and better service.

   Wonderful dinner outside, perfect weather. Only our 2nd time here, and first for dinner. Six months ago just coffee & dessert … which was perfect then, and again now … the berries & zabayon … special. The appetizer we had isn’t on the website menu. Forget exactly what it was called. It was sort of like a grilled cheese sandwich of mozzarella with basil on the inside and a porcini mushroom sauce with capers outside … wow. Split a Caesar … delicious. She had excellent sea bass entree. I had linguine with clam sauce. Mmmmm. That dessert again … berries with zabayon … what a treat. Service. Perfection. Like the vibe. A lot of regulars. Will be back. A lot of good choices in downtown C Gables though. Will definitely be back.

   We were leaving from Miami Airport and live in Boca Raton. We decided to stop at a restaurant near the airport. I searched Open Table and found Caffe Abbracci. What a gem! Best Italian food outside Italy. Next time we fly from Miami we will definitely go back. Food service and location EXCELLENT!

   We had a wonderful dining experience at Caffe Abbraccio. The food and service was exceptional. I ordered the veal Milanese and I can see why so many others had gotten it as well. It was pounded thin and breadcrumb coated and lightly fried to perfection. I saw some had ordered it parmigiana style but it must be by request. My wife had a branzino special that she said was excellent. The accompanying potato fries were crisp and delicious. I can’t say enough about the service. Never waited for our water or wine glasses to be refilled. Will definitely return when in the area.

    Usually good ratings all around tonight they were very busy so the pacing was off a bit. Food was OK Veggies Luke warm. It can't always be perfect. Will come back again.

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary having a simple diner. The service from the moment we entered was excellent! The bartender came to the table to ask how we wanted our cocktails. The short rib with risotto was delicious, great recommendation from the waiter. They brought us a dessert with a candle to celebrate our anniversary. We highly recommend this restaurant!

    Caffe Abbracci is our favorite place. Very consistent with outstanding food and service, along with a broad menu. We also appreciate the wonderful attention by waiters Juan Carlos and Rene.

    A very experienced wait staff throughout the restaurant. You could tell they liked what they did. My wife could not decide between two entrees, so our waiter offered to split the plate between the two. My wife was quite happy. Bolognese was awesome. This is my first measure of any Italian restaurant. The wine list was excellent and the place was filled with mostly locals on a Sunday evening.

    This old Coral Gables trattoria remains a standout. Menu is somewhat limited, but dishes are always well prepared. Best veal in the city. Professional, experienced waitstaff.

    considering the good reviews of this restaurant I was expecting great service and food. Honestly, I was very disappointed. Let's start with the bar service: Negroni drink, pure gin, unprofessional bartender, instead of apologizing he arrogantly asked me “what You want?” Let's move on to table service: waiter a bit confused about how to explain the menu special…. Generous portions but very disappointing. Ì ordered Squid Risotto, full of butter… Not a restaurant I would recommend to friends..

    We had heard great things about Caffe Abbracci and they delivered. Veal chops and risotto were outstanding. Staff/service were terrific. Absolutely would recommend if you are interested in a great meal.

    A family and friends dinner and show at the Biltmore for 5. We had a great table, good waiter. It took a little while to get the meal but it was worth the wait. Enjoy this local favorite.

    We have been eating at Caffe Abracci for years. Although, I would like to give them 5 stars, as I usually do, I have taken one star away. Yesterday they brought me the wrong entree and failed to bring the lunch salads. Also, overcharged for the coffee. The waiter realized after he saw me checking the bill. This is constructive criticism.

    Good solid red sauce Italian fare. Boconcini appetizer — baked mozzarella in a mushroom caper sauce, is worth writing home about. Abbracci is a great albeit pricey neighborhood Gables standby.
