The food at Root & Bone was great. However, I made my reservation a week prior for 9:30pm on Sunday via OpenTable. Around 5pm on the day of my reservation, they called me to say that the kitchen closes at 10pm on Sundays, so the kitchen normally closes early. They wanted to confirm that we were still coming, I confirmed and the person on the phone said they would let the kitchen know. When we arrived, the entire meal was rushed. We had to get all of our food in by 9:45, so it created a very tense vibe all because they allowed for a reservation to be booked too close to their closing time. It was supposed to the Farewell dinner for a bachelorette weekend and it just wasn't what I expected given this issue.

Fantastic, yummy food! Restaurant located in lobby of Shelburne Hotel, an open area that is rather small. It was very quiet. Outdoor seating consisted of small porch like area at side of driveway entrance to hotel, that was not appealing at all. I highly recommend the food but the atmosphere while I was there was not interesting.

Klein und fein in der Lobby des Shelborne. Sehr gutes Essen. Location etwas ruhiger, gut um Gespräche zu führen.

The food and cocktails here are amazing. Very accommodating service. Great place for a quieter conversational meal on Miami Beach strip. Everyone in the party (8) really enjoyed their meals and the desserts. Ordered one of each of the desserts. Easy place to want to return too. The bar (Drawing Room) excellent 👍👍👍

Some of the best grub in the neighborhood for locals. Well priced for a hotel restaurant. Food is fantastic. Sunday dinner special is great selection and value.

Andrés, our server, was pleasant and gave good recommendations. The ribs and fish were excellent entree choices as well as the arugula strawberry salad and plantain with bacon. Cocktails were outstanding with generous alcohol. This is a great spot for couples as well.
