   Food was very good and the patio was very pleasant. The only problem was service. The hostess was harried (disorganized?) and our waitress didn’t seem to have a good grasp of the menu, particularly drinks. The food was also a touch slow in delivery. She was pleasant however, which makes up for some of her inexperience. Also, as suggestion for the kitchen: add a couple more pieces of toast to the cheese skillet.

   They continuously refresh and update the menu to reflect the season. Good service, although on a warm day, they could not get water and iced tea fast enough. Outside dinning is so much more enjoyable for noise and ambiance.

   Always too loud in there. Breakfast is way too expensive for what you get. Sauce on the eggs Benedict was.... unusual.... and not tasty.

    The staff and the food are phenomenal! We spent quite a few meals at this Cafe during our time in Midland, sometimes eating here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyone was so friendly, the service was quick and always perfect and the food tasted amazing. Highly recommend!

    Unfortunately, we reserved outside seating, expecting a warmer morning. Instead, it was cold and windy, and my wife was uncomfortable. We left immediately after paying our bill. While service was very good, my breakfast was second rate, pleasing to the eye but not to the tastebuds. I'm sure we'll be back, but I'll order something else next time.

    Everything was perfect! I highly suggest making a reservation, it seems like a very busy place- for good reason! Everything is a 10/10, LOVED that they had the fire place on- so cozy! My husband tried the steak & eggs- said it was amazing. I had the Belgian waffle with fruit and it was delicious. Prices are high but like everything, you get what you pay for.

    I went to cafe zinc for lunch and the beet salad was exceptional. Our server was very friendly and responsive. My friend and I both loved our mimosas as well! This is one of the best restaurants in the GLB region.

    If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast in a cozy atmosphere, look no further than Cafe Zinc. My recent visit to this charming cafe was made even more enjoyable by the friendly and attentive service provided by Luciano, our server. My dining companion and I opted for the Grand American breakfast, which came with eggs cooked to our liking, crispy bacon, hash browns , and toast. The portion size was generous and everything was cooked to perfection. We also indulged in a plate of chocolate chip pancakes. Throughout our meal, Luciano made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us regularly to ensure our satisfaction. He was friendly, professional, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Zinc for breakfast, especially if you have the pleasure of being served by Luciano. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service is top-notch. We left feeling satisfied and happy, and we'll definitely be back!

    The food, as always, was very good--although the caesar salad dressing has sadly been changed (less think and umami than it used to be!) and the flatbread appetizer was lackluster. Service, however, was not on par with prices. Our waitress weirdly told us that the rack of lamb couldn't be cooked to the diner's specifications. She never checked in with us after the food was delivered, and two glasses of wine were never brought--and never offered an apology of any sort when this was called to her attention. Zinc is not cheap; with that in mind, service needs to be more attentive.

    Outstanding. Period. Amy, the waitress, was attentive and professional. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. The wine list was very good with reasonably fair prices. Literally no complaints, except the restaurant was a little empty. I'm not sure how the hotel can have one bar and two restaurants open every night. It's a little depressing to be one of four customers in the whole restaurant for dinner.

    Our food was ruched. The french onion soup had little cheese and may to much bread. One of the guests stated the beet salad was so salty she could barely eat. My sandwich had one slice of ham and a ton of cheese. My sons birthday so she said she would have sent back except for that. We have always been very happy with Zinc in our previous visits.

    This was the first time having dinner at Cafe Zinc, we have had breakfast several times and we were as pleased with our meal experience as always. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, we had a table next to the fireplace. Service was great, food was very good. I highly recommend Cafe Zinc.

    Our service was excellent. The food was outstanding and the presentation very nice. Our table for two was adequate but a little bigger would be better. No dessert menu; desserts are in a display case reminding me of a deli. I will definitely return.
