It's beautiful sitting out in the garden at Cafe Wisteria!
Great outdoor patio - especially for social distancing
The place was perfect as usual. Our server was wonderful as usual. I ordered the pasta w chicken n had a tiny tummy ache. Don’t know what happened. I always had a hamburger there n never an issue. It was always perfect. But the place is so beautiful that I’d come back f sure n will stick to my hamburger.
I think the Allied Arts Guild is the most charming place in the Bay Area.
Eating at Cafe Wisteria is a true treat, and walking around the grounds is a delight in itself.
And the food is good!
Wisteria is a lovely little cafe on the grounds of the Allied Arts estate. It’s hidden in a lovely little garden setting, and is a great alternative to tables in the street, like many restaurants now during Covid. Salads were huge and delicious. The prices are a bit steep, but overall, I think this was a good value.
Very beautiful garden, nice food and good service!
What a wonderful place ! Peaceful and relax .Beautiful garden ,delicious food
This gem is the best kept secret on the Peninsula‼️
Open for lunch in a beautiful garden setting Tues through Saturday in Menlo Park
Went there with family. Even the bread and butter served while your food is prepared is delicious.
3 friends getting together safely for linch
Cafe Wisteria is a hidden gem, located inside Allied Arts. Tables are spaced outside with walls of flowers banking the eating area and lovely shade trees overhead. Menu is both delicious and healthy. It's a great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch and not feel hurried. While you're there, don't miss the artisans studios in the back, especially Joy Imari's wonderful ceramics. The Allied Arts gift store is also great, but only open Thur-Sat.
Do wander the grounds and enjoy the roses.
A wonderful and charming place for lunch around the gurgling fountain and surrounded by hydrangea bushes. Food and service is good....I have loved everything I have ordered, but they have lobster sliders (not on the menu) with more lobster than I have ever seen...$24. and worth it. All the tables are far apart with a few larger tables for larger groups.
One of the most charming and beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area due to its location at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park. The complex has fabulous gardens, beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture, and off-beat shops.
Food not up to usual excellence. Rolls hard and dry. Daily salad special-greens with cherry tomatoes and avocado overdressed and rather bland.
As always a lovely setting. Very nice waitress.
It was a treat.
Excellent place for a lunch on a Beautiful patio!!! Food and service wonderful! What a treat!!!
Wisteria is a hidden gem. You now sit outside around a fountain, surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas in such a tranquil setting. The food is outstanding. Lobster sliders are not on the menu, but do ask if they are available. They are $24. for three, but just stuffed with lobster. Service is lovely and it is a wonderful place for a summer lunch.
Tables were spaced far apart in the beautiful garden, surrounded by birdsong and hydrangeas in shades of blue and white. The chicken carbonara pasta and unsweetened tropical iced tea were outstanding! The server wore a face mask at all times.
Lovely location. Beautiful setting. Superb food. Fantastic service. Peaceful. Great place to go to catch up with a friend because you can hear each other! My third trip. Looking forward to my next one!
Pleasant vans pretty venue. Relaxing too . Enjoyed it
We love this cafe. Food is always delicious and our server was wonderful. Such a great lunch
We arrived an hour earlier than our reservation and they were so wonderful to seat us and were so kind and seemed happy to have us arrive!!! everything was perfect and the three of us enjoyed it so much. i did not remind them of the celebration of a Birthday and they complied. i was so grateful. we will return as it was a great experience in every way!!!
Delicious food, gorgeous outdoor seating area! I made a reservation in advanced to make sure to get a table outdoors.
Short Rib Sandwich- Awesome! Garden is beautiful! Wonderful time.
Can't think of a better place for a post-pandemic outdoor lunch. Lovely, relaxed setting. Excellent food and service.
Cafe Wisteria is such a beautiful little gem for sure. Hidden in an artsy place in Menlo Park, we got enjoy lunch out near the fountain and in view of beautiful gardens. The Brie and pear panini was amazing and my daughter loved the shrimp pasta. Would definitely go back to this place.
We had the potato sausage soup and it would have been enough. My husband had the Monte Cristo sandwich which came with a salad. Another in the party had the eggs Benedict with crab. Two of us split the salmon salad. Very tasty all around.
Hidden gem in Menlo Park for a great meal in a serene, quiet, historic spot. Cafe Wisteria has indoor and outdoor dining tables surrounded by water fountains and gardens. Menu is varied and everything we ordered was great. Service was friendly.
Great spot for young and old as the noise level is low.
Highly recommend this spot.
Very fine friendly service, good food
Your food is delicious! Me eggs Benedict were devine!
Excellent spot for a lunch with lovely gardens.
The service was slow but worth the wait!
There were 4 of us at our table during Christmas Market. After shopping at the permanent shops and the craft sales in the Sunset Room we were ready to sit down and relax. We had the shrimp penne and one person had the mushroom panini. Both were very good. Lemon bars for dessert!
Very nice lunch menu/venue
Slow service, slow and uncoordinated delivery of our lunch orders, a waitress who asks questions then responds to every answer with “No problem!” As if saying yes to a question of whether we wanted water might constitute a problem. “Okay”, “Thank you”, “Sure” are all good responses... “no problem” as a conversational tick is not.
November, a beautiful warm day to eat outside.
Loved the menu! Great selection of appetizers, salads, main courses.
Excellent and friendly service.
Beautiful stroll through the large gardens afterwards with a few shops open.
Disappointed with two lunches out of three. My salmon salad was great. The tacos were small,
served on a small plate with no embellishment - no chips, no salsa, no garnish. Looked cheap.
The kale salad was just that...lots of small bunches of kale with hardly anything else to make
an attractive and tasty salad. Shame on you. We enjoyed the lovely buns and herbal butter which was served with our lunches. We have loved and visited Allied Arts for years. It is still a lovely place to visit. Cafe table seating in the courtyard with flowers, fountains and greenery was a treat. The two lunches were a disappointment.
We had a table for six. The food was very good. We had a noisy group behind us separated only by a curtain so after we ate we went outside so we could talk. The gardens are lovely place in which to sit and have a conversation.
Such a beautiful outdoor patio. I loved my sandwich and our cappuccinos were delightful. We had a little trouble with yellow jackets, but we were warned (and had an option to sit inside). We chose to brave the yellow jackets and it was well worth it. Incredibly peaceful spot, with yummy food. I'd go again.
WE HAD HAMBURGERS. THEY WERE PROBABLY THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD, JUICY AND CRISP AT THE SAME TIME. THE FRIED ONION ON TOP WAS JUST RIGHT!
