Lovely venue, very helpful and attentive servers. Food very good except for wilted mixed green salad which accompanied my panini. Clearly it had been mixed with dressing some time before serving.
Outstanding ambiance!! Charming garden venue, good menu (rolls were maybe a bit 'stale'?)
Delightful setting and delicious food - perfect location for meeting a friend for lunch!
This is a beautiful little oasis in Menlo Park. It is tranquil and absolutely delightful.
The food is very tasty and big portion. The garden looks good, too though we don't have enough time to visit it. We seat in the outside, close to the windows. It is a very nice experience. Thanks,
Lunch at Cafe Wisteria, outside, next to big Hydrangea Blooms, good Food and fancy water glasses and the music was wonderful. Thanks for an exquisite lunch experience.
Unique and beautiful location! Limited menu but with a nice variety. I ofter take friends there for a special occasion. I do wish they used paper containers for takeout vs plastic.
We sat in the beautiful courtyard. Tables were very well spaced apart. Server was warm and friendly. My fish tacos were delicious. Friends enjoyed the salmon salad and crab cakes. Friend who ordered the hamburger said it was very dry. Fries were delicious.
We shared the lemon bar which was excellent.
Delightful and delicious, as always!!
Gorgeous surroundings but too bad the food was so poor. I had egg Benedict which had no flavor. Potatoes were very overcooked. My daughter and granddaughter were not impressed with their food. Too bad for such a lovely place. My granddaughter was considering Wisteria for a wedding but now having second thoughts.
There were bees flying around the food to disturb our dining. Hope they can find an effective solution to improve. Other than that, everything was great!
The garden setting is beautiful. The food selection was good and they have ample servings. Food service was good. Coffee and fresh lemonade were delicious. They do not serve alcohol and we were hoping for a glass of wine with lunch. You can bring your own bottle for a $20 corkage fee.
I would highly recommend.
The prices have gone up substantially since my last visit in May. Also their website still shows the old prices.
Great food, customer service. Such a great and cute place to have lunch
Pricey, but not over priced considering the quality. Reservations were definitely required. The place was mobbed but not crowded since there was space to expand. We had the Crab Benedict which was terrific.
We sat in the garden, close to the fountain bubbling away, surrounded by beautiful hydrangea, hanging wisteria, and other vegetation. The three of us ordered the same salad, but each modified it to our tastes - our server was not bothered in the least with the changes. Our lunches arrived in good time, very nicely presented, with wonderful, warm, crispy on the outside and sprinkled with herbs, rolls. What a relaxing, pleasant time we all had. Thank you to the wonderful host and to our server.
Beautiful setting. Mediocre food. Adequate service.
Lovely luncheon in a beautiful quiet garden surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas. Our salads were absolutely delicious and not overdressed. Waiter asked the chef all the questions I had about the menu & kept our ice tea glasses full! Thank you!
Beautiful setting… Food was average… Service was average… Prices are fairly high. The concept of Allied arts is worth paying the price.
Sat in outside patio, surrounded by gorgeous plants, such as hydrangeas in full-bloom. Serene setting in which to visit with lunch partners. Varied menu (salads, pasta dishes, etc) ; all delicious!
Lovely setting outside. Good was wonderful
A lovely setting. Good menu with something for everyone. Courteous. efficient service. Diverse clientele—two college women in jeans, special parties, a mother with two very young, very well-behaved kids. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Allied Arts. I’ll be back
Beautiful terrace dining space. Wonderful waiter. I ordered the shrimp tacos. I would go back, but order something else. The lemon bars for dessert were very tasty.
My friend & I enjoyed eating there & will definitely return again & again. Highly recommended. Thank you.
A nice to place to eat with an outer town friends. Wished an outdoor seating but the tables were full. Next time.
The garden is gorgeous. However, the food is below average...
In the summer among the hydrangeas, there is no better place
The service was brisk and efficient. The food was disappointing. I ordered a cranberry chicken spring mix salad; the spring mix was limp and the chicken cubes were tasteless and dry. The quality of the food served was not worth the cost. The atmosphere and environment are lovely and outdoor seating is well spaced and comfortable.
Lovely setting outside in the garden area. Perfect setting for a leisurely lunch .
Beautiful garden setting as always. Food is fresh & well prepared but not memorable or remarkable.
Thank you for providing a pleasant, quiet atmosphere for an outside gathering. The food was tasty, the service right on. We had an extra person and your servers made room at the table for us with a smile. Look forward to more lunches in the beautiful garden.
Perfect lunch outside under the oak - highly recommended
Delicious lunch in a beautiful garden setting. The Crab Benedict was wonderful!
We were arranged at indoor seats. It will be better if we could have options of indoor or outdoor seating when making reservation. It’s good experience overall.
The open air gardens are the primary feature for ambience and a walk.
This is my favorite lunch restaurant. Beautiful garden setting with seating indoor or out. Nice variety of delicious choices on menu.
Lunch. Wonderful ambiance in superb setting of trees, flowers and fabulous distancing in tables so you can actually converse!!!
Wonderful afternoon with an old colleague. Food and ambiance were wonderful. Will definitely book another engagement.
Tucked away in a garden-enveloped corner of Allied Arts, Cafe Wisteria provides a welcomed escape from suburbia. The sights and smells of the garden flowers accompanied by the gentle flow of the fountain waters, set the tone for a relaxing meal. The service was great and the food quality was excellent. I will definitely be returning for more Salmon Nicoise Salad.
The crab Benedict was magnificent. Service and setting too.
