Loved everything about Cafe Vermilionville! Food, service, ambience, great experience, highly recommend!
Chelsea was a fantastic server! The food was unbelievably good, I wish I could come back every night.
Poor table location
Menu food and wine items were unavailable to order.
Unclear communication with waiter
Great ambiance great service good food And great atmosphere
Very special evening and dinner for our wedding anniversary. Will definitely go back!
Terribly understaffed. While the Filet is spectacular, it's definitely not 6 oz. Love the atmosphere and always a great experience, but staffing needs work.
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening in the courtyard with Richard Revue!
Service & wood was impeccable. Thank you Trevor.
Can’t wait until the spring series!
Food is wonderful!! Our server, James, was very attentive and answered all our questions. Such a BEAUTIFUL evening.
I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and service is excellent, especially when we have a special request. It is so charming; any evening there is memorable.
Everything from start to finish was great. Service and food exceptional!
Always a great time at Cafe V.
Always a great experience at Cafe' V! Highly recommend!
My husband loved the filet mignon and the crawfish beignets were fantastic. Everything we tried was delicious and the service was paced perfectly, allowing us to have a nice and relaxing anniversary dinner.
We've been twice this year for special events and each time was as pleasant as
the other. It is such a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed both evenings.
We really enjoyed our meal especially for the price. My drinks were well crafted. They did forget out appetizer, it came out after we finished the main course. Service was great. The personalized card on the table was a nice touch!
It was so cold at our table that the food got cold before we could finish eating. We still enjoyed our experience, but, wow, it was cold! Beautiful restaurant and food was delicious!
The courtyard concerts are amazing. Beautiful venue with wonderful food.
5-stars all-around, for ambience, food flavor and preparation (scallops with a seared crust on the outside with a tender sashimi center, to die for), creative and innovative ingredients (garbanzo bean foam cocktail garnish, all the cocktails are stellar!), impeccable service. Lovely dining room overlooks a garden.
Cozy, elegant, and relaxed atmosphere. I would not change anything. The food was fantastic. The service was timely and friendly. The prices were comparable to other restaurants.
This was my wife's and my first time here. We both enjoyed it so much, that we plan to eat here at least once a month as part of our date nights.
Service from Megan the bartender was incredible. The bar area is more intimate than the main dining room. There cocktails were amazing! The food was respectable but underwhelming. Decent portions and fresh ingredients but sadly everything lacked depth of flavor and was over salted. I had scallops and my wife had the filet. While both dishes were cooked to perfection in temperature, the sauces were salty and the steak was not seasoned. The appetizers were more palatable. PB&J foie gras was adventurous but decadent. The bisque and wedge salad are traditional and safe bets. Overall we may return for the Wednesday courtyard music events and enjoy the ambience but we will likely look for another romantic date night restaurant.
Staff made sure to make an engagement proposal highly memorable and enjoyable. Would come here again and recommend to friends and family. Delicious food, great environment, friendly and attentive staff, and great value. 5 stars all around.
The food is absolutely fabulous, the service was impeccable, it was peaceful with soft jazz playing lightly in the background. My dinner companion said, "It was like we left town". Amazing experience, highly recommend.
Great night! Our server Lance was the best!!!
Our service and food was outstanding!!
Delicious food, excellent staff, great atmosphere. We knew it was a more expensive menu, so the prices didn’t surprise us. It seems like everything costs more since COVID, so we didn’t mind. Everything else made up for it.
This was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent and service top notch.
Delightful staff, beautiful setting and delicious food and drinks!
Excellent, very noisy table nearby.
Food was very good. My steak was slightly over cooked. Turtle soup was excellent. Service was okay. A bit slow. 2 tables that came in after us got their food before us. Had to ask for bread well into our meal. My tea was never refilled. Server was very nice but may have been working too many tables.
Outstanding restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely eat there again.
Definitely will return. Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent.
A little underwhelming compared to other restaurants in the same price point locally. Steak was cooked perfectly but needed salt, scallops not as tender as expected
Food was very good. Kitchen/service was a little slow but they may have trouble staffing like everyone else. Would def go back again.
The food and the service was outstanding ! Chelsea was our server.
The best restaurant in Lafayette!
I love Cafe' Vermilionville. It has been a favorite of mine and my husbands for 20 years now. I have never had a bad experience and the food and service is always top notch.
Great service and excellent menu. Will be back!!!!!
We celebrated my birthday there and it was absolutely fantastic from the moment we walked in. We had an excellent waiter who was very attentive to our needs. Everything was prepared to perfection. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere the service the noise level everything was super .
Our waiter, Lance, made our evening. Great in every way. Even got our silly jokes. And recommended a favorite drink of his that relaxed me for the first time since cover!
Dinner was very well paced with time in between to talk and laugh and digest.
Great gumbo, warm spinach salad excellent... hadn't had one in years.
Scallops great, fish great, desserts superb!
So happy to have rediscovered Vermilionville. Spent many fun evenings here in the 80's. Remember Judge Roy Beans?
