I've eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The small plates idea is great, and the value for Sunday brunch, with bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys, and endless small plates, can't be beat. Several months ago, I took a group of friends from out of town, and now every time they come to Orlando, they insist on going there. One member of the group has even arranged to hold business dinners there at every opportunity. Superb place.
The food comes out quick and is brunch is meant to be slow, so pace yourself while you eat. We had to force ourselves to slow down. Great value for the amount of food and beverage.
Very good tapas but prcey
Incredible food. Great environment. Highly recommend this great place
Food was awesome. Service was great. I highly recommend the Tuscan Meatballs.
We made a reservation for 11:30 am on a Saturday, but it was not necessary as there were plenty of tables available. We decided to sit on the patio where there was live music. Server took long to greet us because the hostess never told her we were sat, but when she did arrive she graciously went over the menu as it was our first time there. We opted for the bottomless mimosas, but went a la carte for our meal. We tried the chicken and waffles, which was good, but came out cold and slightly soggy (they add the syrup for you). The plates are tapas style so it may be worth it to do the bottomless brunch if you are getting three or more dishes per person. We also tried the cajun chicken egg rolls which were delicious. My friend ordered a pepperoni flatbread which was extremely oily. When I inquired about their adult coffee beverages, the server oddly said no one has ever ordered them when I asked for a recommendation. I ended up going with the Jamaican coffee, which was good even if I am the first and last person to order it. We walked around the restaurant as there are art pieces everywhere (majority are for sale); they even had a live artist, which was cool. Overall, the atmosphere trumped the food.
Great restaurant! We went there for a birthday and got the chefs tasting menu. We tried things we would never have tried before and everything was FANTASTIC! Great food for a great price! LOVED it!
Excellent food and amazing service! Will be back on next trip to Orlando.
Cafe Tu Tu Tango was listed in an article describing it as a good family restaurant for kids in Orlando. It was anything but! Very dark in lighting and the environment in general. The paintings were dark with skulls, razors soaked in blood, monsters, and stitched bears with depressing quotes. We were sat next to a palm and tarot card reader. On the way out we walked past a naked mannican with only a gothic corset painted on. Above the bathroom was a painting of a Ouija board.
You order $10+ plates the size of a single appetizer and the drinks are overpriced. The bill was twice the price of any other restaurant and we left hungry and stopped somewhere else for dessert. Definitely NOT a family restaurant!
Our food was terrible. Even the chips were stale. The cauliflower was really bad. And it was expensive. Totally bummed we wasted an evening there and spent $200
Love this place. Always great service and delicious food!
Years later this place never disappoints
Very nice meal! Enjoyed the flavors.
My wife and I were disappointed at our latest visit to Cafe Tu Tu Tango. We felt the quality of the food had dramatically declined in comparison to previous visits. The meat from the carving station was tough and almost inedible. My wife's sausage sliders and my bagel and lox slider were not as good as prior occasions. While we realize it was an especially busy day (Mother's Day) and the restaurant was full, the service was extremely slow. It took over 30 minutes from being seated to placing our initial order. It was almost another 30 minutes until I got my order, and we had to ask about my wife's order...which finally came. While Cafe Tu Tu Tango has been a favorite dining venue for us for a number of years, we will likely not return in the future.
We have gone to Cafe Tu Tu Tango for the past few Mother’s Day. Also a great experience, great service, and a wonderful time. This year the service was horrible. Plates were not cleared from any of the tables in our section. At one point a 6 or 8 top was cleaned by staff and the table next to me put all of their dirty plates on the table, which was quite a lot of plates. I thought about doing the same but I didn’t want to be that person because the staff cleans the table to bring another group to the table and that’s not a good experience to get to your table and it’s filled with over 20 dirty plates. But at one point I had 7 plates stacked in front of me. We are usually in and out on Mother’s Day there in about 60-70 minutes. This year we were there 130 minutes. One of the reasons was the server rarely came to our table so we were finished with our food and sitting there 10 minutes or more before he and back to order any more food. We ordered the kids hotdogs for our 17 month old and it took 35 minutes to
Get that. I understand holidays are busier than usual, but having gone there for a few years now I know they normally function just better. If it was a normal day I would probably not even be writing this because things like this usually don’t bother me too much. But it was Mother’s Day and what we thought was going to be a fun, great brunch we are used to ended up being not that great of an experience. So my wife didn’t have a good time which is the reason I’m writing this. It was absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Also, we were waiting for a check for quite sometime where my wife asked the one worker (who I think may have been a manager because he was wearing a tie) if she could ask our server for the check. I was going to complain to the manager but didn’t want to upset my wife. Next year we will be finding a new place unfortunately, because this was my wife’s favorite place.
Mother’s Day brunch was A-MAZ-ING!!! I love Cafe Tu Tu Tango and the brunch was absolutely delicious and great value too. We all stuff ourselves!! The taco bar is always fun, the pulled pork with guava bbq sauce is to die for. I didn’t have. The waffle station and antipasto stations were new from the regular brunch menu and the kids devoured the waffles. They had great toppings to add to them to make your own recipe. So fun!!! The cheese and antipasto was fresh and delicious. I also loved the dessert shots—liquid gold right there!!! I loved the experience as always, my favorite spot in Orlando for food and fun so celebrating Mother’s Day was just epic. 🤘 😁
Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Fantastic meal with even more fantastic service. This was the best deal in town and a new family tradition was born.
The food was excellent but the last plate came out very late. The manager brought the plate and apologized that it was missed. It was the correct way to handle things with a personal approach so I appreciate that.
Great brunch menu! Lots of options at good price. They do not list all the ingredients on the menu, though! So if you don’t like spicy food, ask before you order.
We went this past Saturday night for Mother's Day had a great time. Food and service was outstanding. The shrimp and grits is out of this world good. We are local and will certainly be back.
A must go every time we are in Orlando! We especially love the banana pizza!!
Tutu Tango is always lively -- artists painting or making jewelry or both -- while Flamenco dancers are twirling. Not the place for a quiet romantic dinner -- but works for everything else. Food is creative & delicious. We've enjoyed this place for probably 15 years -- it's more than a meal -- it's an event.
So, our reservation was for 7pm seated 35 mins later 😒 they kept saying they were clearing the table. Seriously, it can’t take that long ?!
Our waiter was upbeat but hurried.
We each ordered 2 tapas & I’d say most were very yummy. The Moroccan cauliflower was under cooked & the seasoning was odd. I know those flavors & those were not it.
We received 2 orders of one beef entree & I know we only ordered one & another never showed up. The missing one was taken off & we ate the other, so didn’t bring it up.
The noise level outside on the ‘porch’ area was insanely loud between the music & ‘not TuTu’s fault’ very ill behaved children & patents drinking & not giving a rip .. but unfortunately we will not racing back here. Too many options in Orlando 😟
We love going to Cafe Tutu Tango when we are in the Orlando area. Always have great specials in addition to the wonderful selections on their menu. Great place to try new things without breaking the bank thanks to their small plates. The banana caramel pizza is To.Die.For!
We went for Saturday brunch. Really great place for brunch and mimosas.
Hostess was very very rude. Horrible customer service. We had a reservation with open table and she still made us wait while she was sitting groups - walk ins without reservations. The server was nice.
A local favorite! I just wish they still had Sopa de Leon on the menu. Bring back the world's best soup!
BUT the pears are back and they are AMAZING.
Here for a business dinner while at a convention. Our waitress was great..the food just kept coming. Great time had by all...
The food is very good. We randomly tried some of the dishes, and they offered pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise. If you feel adventurous, try the Moroccan cauliflower- we found it exquisite, rich with flavor.
As usual, the food was fantastic, and it comes out pretty quick. Our waiter was not very attentive and couldn’t muster a smile to save his life...not friendly at all. The atmosphere is always interesting because of the artists...there was a belly dancer there, someone in our party gave her a tip and instead of dancing for our table she immediately ran off...I thought that was kind of weird. Restaurant is very loud
The food is delicious but unfortunately the service was terrible. Our waitress was extremely slow and rarely checked in with us for drink refills.
The food was amazing! We had so much fun! The staff couldn't have been better!
Fun atmosphere with great food!
Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Do make reservations to secure a table. Very unique experience and food! You will enjoy!!
We have a lot of foodies in our big family and they all enjoyed the choices on the menu. It was a good place for a special occasion!
The outdoor patio was perfect. Our server was excellent!!!
Made reservation through Open Table. Arrived at appropriate time and told front desk we had reservation through Open Table. When the reservation was made we asked for regular seating (not a high top)— guess what—we got a high top! That’s really not a big deal. On the reservation I also mentioned that this was a special occasion since our Granddaughter was graduating from high school. I also let them know that we allowed her to pick out any restaurant that she liked and she said that Cafe Tu Tu Tango was her favorite. After a drive of well over an hour we arrived to the high top table, and—you guessed it— no mention of her special day. The following day I received an email from Open Table letting us know that we had not kept our reservation!!! Guess that Cafe Tu Tu Tango wasn’t quite on their game!!
