Perfect For:

  • Creative Cuisine
Located near the Orlando Eye and Orange County Convention Center, CAFÉ TU TU TANGO evokes a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another. Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, the bohemian lifestyle fashioned life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared, over drink, music, and conversation.

One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only does our scratch kitchen serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so with appetizer-style portions that are meant to be shared. Choose an array of dishes for your table, and let the party enjoy them communally. Experience a spectrum of the world's most tantalizing tastes together. Savor both the food and the company. This is what life is all about. Come in and join the party!

So Cafe TuTu Tango really missed the mark on this day. I have been several times for brunch at Cafe TuTu tango, always with rather large groups. Since I had good experiences, I thought it would be a great option for a lowkey birthday brunch with my friends. We were greeted and sat by the hostess, and that was when the waiting began. We already knew we were interested in doing both the bottomless mimosas and bottomless brunch, but the waiter quickly dropped menus and left, before we had a chance to order drinks. When he arrived several minutes later with the waters, we tried to order our drinks and a first round of tapas, and as soon as he had the drinks he again left quickly, and turn a long time to return. This pattern kept repeating, with many of the food items we ordered never showing up, or in the wrong quantities. It also was hard to get a refill on the drinks since he always wanted to bring individual glasses (for 10 people), rather than just bringing the bottle and refilling the glasses. The only thing that moderately saved this service failure was Tristan, who wasn't our waiter, but several times helped us out with refills. (Thanks Tristan!) Overall I felt rather deflated after the whole brunch (since it was my birthday and i picked it) because I didn't think my friends had a great experience or value for their money/time. I would definitely want to give TuTu's another go for brunch, but I think it is going to be hard to get this group of hospitality service professionals to try it again. While I had gone several times, it was their first experience, and the first impression was definitely lacking.

Love this place. My favorite place for brunch in Orlando. Wish they had one here in miami.

I started at Cafe Tu Tu Tango 20 years ago in Miami. Thank goodness that, after that one closed ten years ago, we still had Orlando. This place is so fun, the food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. I never go to Orlando without stopping by.

Music too loud (especially during belly dancer shows). Ordered an appetizer (hot), then deliberately waited 20 minutes before ordering entrees. All three dishes were served at the same time and the app was stone cold. When I asked the waiter why all 3 showed up at same time he shrugged and implied “ those are the breaks”! Still an interesting place to go, just disappointing this time.

We had a great meal and the atmosphere is great too. It has a lot of character and the waiters were so helpful as attentive. With a vegetarian in the group sometimes options are thin but they had a great selection for everyone. the pizza, hummus, and olive appetizer was great. We got the cheesecake lollipops and flan as well. It was so good. Oh and the drinks are great too. We had sangria and a few other delicious cocktails. Great place! And lots of fun. Don’t love the belly dancer music that comes on so loud you can’t hear anyone but I think that’s the point. To focus on her. That’s only about every 30 min so no big deal.

Service was slow, food was really bad, except the meat balls they were pretty good, everything else very low quality. Our easier needed to be asked multiple times to refill the drinks and when asked took long.

Excellent choice of dishes and perfect if you have food allergies. The chef came to the table to discuss the menu and to recommend dishes. Great art on the wall, belly dancer, artists and fortune teller, this is fun for all the senses.

Not a first place date you’ll want to keep getting dishes O.o Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time! The waiter is definitely busy but is very accommodating and doesn’t shove the check down your throat.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango is one of our favorite restaurants in a large sea if national chain dining establishments. Looking for different? Tu Tu Tango is the right place. Come prepared to share small plates of well prepared food with numerous options for vegetarians and gluten free diners. Some of our favorites: guava ribs, SW chicken egg rolls, guacamame hummus. We love the red sangria which is not the sweet, syrupy, soda pop version offered by so many establishments that have no idea of good sangria. We have had corporate event meals here on numerous occasions and always a good experience. Sometimes we run to Orlando for a couple of nights to just escape work and Cafe Tu Tu Tango is always top on our list for one night’s meal. Great date night!
We have to mention one employee, Bree, who last night guided us through a botched reservation and saw to it we were comfortable and satisfied. It is so nice to support an independent dining establishment that works hard to satisfy everyone.

Food was great. Sat at bar outside which was nice . Inside was not as nice. Not much live art or entertainment the night we were there other than a very brief appearance by some Spanish dancers with castanets . The dynamite shrimp and fish tacos were very tasty and reasonably priced . Dining in Orlando can be very overpriced. This was a refreshing change. Did not like the blackened chicken egg rolls as much as the dynamite shrimp and fish tacos . Recommend this place highly and will go again

Everything was great, except for no AC that evening. I know they said they were working on it, but it made for a less than stellar Birthday for my husband. We love this place, but the heat made eating not that pleasant. The heat made the good food sit bad in the stomach.

Oh my goodness! What a great find! My brother and I were in Orlando for the weekend and he found Cafe Tu Tu Tango on Yelp! Saturday afternoon. We made a reservation through Open Table and had a great table outside that evening. It's in a popular part of town with lots to walk to. The building is also an art gallery, our server Andrew was awesome! He had some great recommendations. We tried a bunch of different things and everything was amazing. Highly recommend getting one of their seasonal mixed drinks. Out of this world.

We had an amazing experience at Cafe Tu Tu Tango! We got to the restaurant just as a big rain storm was coming up I Drive and the valet took our car quickly and efficiently so we could get into the restaurant without getting wet. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress was very attentive but didn’t hover which is perfect! Our food came out in waves and it was all so very yummy!

Unique, one of my favorite spots to bring out of town guests. I'm a little disappointed about how much the menu changes, what happened to the bang bang shrimp? Don't fix things that aren't broken!

Atmosphere was great. We took two kids and I wish they had come up with some creative art activities for them that would have integrated them into the ambience more. Food was delicious. Service was slow.

Me and my family are on vacation in the area 7 of us in total. Five children from ages 12 to 3. Very nice place not that pricey considering 7 of us ate at a nice place my wife had a drink and tip and all about 150 not to bad if you ask me. The kids loved all the art and I bought a small piece of art for a souvenir. Will go back on my next trip to this area.

Our resort had a coupon for this restaurant and it looked so interesting when I googled it. I love the tapas style menu and our family of four tried a variety of interesting and delicious combinations. I wish we had time in our vacation schedule to go again to experience the night scene and see an artist at work. The decor is a visual playground and many pieces are for sale. A truly unique place.

This is my second time at Cafe Tu Tu Tango and I honestly love it. Food is served tapas style so get at least two plates. My friend and I got a bottle of their sangria to split which I recommend for parties of 2. I also recommend the chocolate cheesecake lollipops!! The night we went there was a belly dancer, jewelry maker, and tarot card reader plus you can purchase the art on the walls. Very cool vibe, friendly service, and a break away from the chain restaurants.

I loved Tu Tu Tango from first eat--we were in Coconut Grove in Miami. The Orlando location has the same great food, but the vibe is off--super loud, average art, and mediocre entertainment. The music is heart pounding, literally you can feel your chest vibrate from the bass, and while I can appreciate good energy--it's not that. I hope they can readjust and retain what they once were.

This is a great spot to try a variety of small plates. Menu options are plenty. Everything we tried was very good and came to the table quickly. I will return anytime I'm in the Orlando area. My favorite is the spicy shrimp lettuce wraps. Save room for the lollipop cheesecake dessert! Staff is very friendly also.
