About Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando
Located near the Orlando Eye and Orange County Convention Center, CAFÉ TU TU TANGO evokes a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another. Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, the bohemian lifestyle fashioned life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared, over drink, music, and conversation.
One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only does our scratch kitchen serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so with appetizer-style portions that are meant to be shared. Choose an array of dishes for your table, and let the party enjoy them communally. Experience a spectrum of the world's most tantalizing tastes together. Savor both the food and the company. This is what life is all about. Come in and join the party!

Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
We try to eat at Cafe Tu Tu Tango everytime we are in Orlando for an overnight. We have been coming here for years and we always leave happy and pleased. Their Sangria is the best anywhere, fruit flavored, dry and not at all like the sweet, syrupy kinds served as sangria in so many chain restaurants. As for the food, not haute cuisine, but creative, interesting tapas all meant to be shared and all fresh, tasty, different and exciting. We have a few favorites: olives and feta, guava spare ribs (always a must have ), chicken and corn egg rolls ( another must have). People do eat platters here, we never have, and we strongly suggest trying and sharing from an interesting menu. This is an independent restaurant that survives time in a sea of national chains.
Stylish and quirky restaurant, well worth a visit at least once on your holiday. The small plate style of serving makes this a great place to go with a group of friends who are willing to taste and share. A little on the expensive side but the quality and service is excellent so I guess you get what you pay for.
Cafe Tu Tu Tango is my FAVORITE restaurant in Orlando, but we had never been there for brunch so this past weekend we decided to go and opt for the bottomless brunch. It was so worth it! They also had amazing coffee drinks and the most RIDICULOUS liquid desserts. We opted for 3 of them and shared every last drop. Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu...in a glass, who would have thought you could recreate those iconic dessert flavors so perfectly.
It was not busy when we came, but was picking up when we left and while we were there we were able to sample FREE (yes I said it) FREE tacos at a taco and carving station set up in the back of the restaurant. It was so good, the pork tenderloin had been smoked for 14.5 hours and was like cutting butter, I could cut through it with a fork. The beef mixture was delish! It had little peppers in it that gave you a pop of spice with every bite. Our server recommended that one and I am so glad she did.
Between the two of us we ordered 6 entrees and 4 cocktails, plus we got two tacos and some tenderloin each. We spent less that $100 before tip. That is far less than our normal spend and every last bite was melt-in-your-mouth good!
We will definitely be back again, whether it be for a late night bite, good cocktail, brunch or dinner this restaurant is over-the-top amazing! I have never had bad food or service and I highly recommend if you haven't tried it once, do it!
This is our 7th year meeting as friends at Tu Tu - we are in Orlando yearly for business. Always a great value and always fun. Our waitress - Meghan (with a "h") was tremendous! The casual atmosphere with quality food and the "sharing" always makes for a fun and interactive dinner - we will be back next year!
Art - many can't define it, but they know it when they see it. At Tu Tu Tango, you'll see it, hear it, and definitely TASTE it. A menu covered with tapas style offerings so wide ranging, that the waitress even had a hard time helping us whittle down the choices to what to get first. And then there were Chef's Special Offerings on top of that. We had an amazing salad; tequila shrimp; flatbread with prosciutto, fig and goat cheese; spicy meat stuffed empanadas; and a wonderful desert "pizza" with banana, whipped cream, caramel and an amazing home-made ice cream. I can't tell you which was the best, each was unique and delicious on it's own. And there were plenty of other options our stomachs just couldn't expand enough for. Oh, and our waitress was a doll, we talked with her about all kinds of subjects. Meanwhile, there was live entertainment and art of all kinds adorning every vertical surface. Wow. Do they know ALL ARTS!
My group and I paid about $36 each for the continuous course option thinking it was a great idea and value. We were told the Chef would come out and explain the options or we could be surprised and allow the chef to decide. We all decided it would be fun to see what he would select for us.
After a total of three various small plate options the Chef comes back out to ask us if we were ready for dessert! We all agreed absolutely not therefore we were served two more items from the menu, again Chef comes out to ask if we were ready for dessert. At this point the table was pretty annoyed and said sure bring dessert! For 8 people dessert was one small board of a few chocolate covered strawberries, a few pieces of chocolate covered cheesecake chunks and a small traditional Spanish custard in the center for all to share.
All would be fine if server didn't make it seem as if you eat until you say stop yet they cut you short after three to four small servings. Not good business.
This is our second visit to this restaurant and we were not disappoint. Not a lot of interesting food choices things if you don't find another location. We really enjoyed it from goi this is our second visit to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We will be back on next trip to Orlando.
Brunch is fantastic and you can't beat the price for all the food you get. The tapas are varied and everything is delicious. Each plate is perfect for sharing. The taco bar is wonderful. There is something for everyone from flatbreads to french toast to gator bites and shrimp and grits. The $15 all you can drink Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar makes this brunch even more perfect. Great for a friends get together, a romantic date, a family lunch, or a weekend hang out.
Great first time experience! The ambiance of art, music, and fire dancer were great! Food was amazing, must try sweet chili shrimp lettuce wraps and the pears appetizer, both were so good. Prices are fair even though portions are small and meant to be shared. Courtni was a fantastic server, so sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave great suggestions! Definitely a must try when in Orlando- it's only location!
We had alligator (ok), shrimp tacos (good) and pizza carne (very good). Place is very frantic and full of amateur art work....some good, some not so good. Art is so crammed together it's hard to appreciate. During our stay an art class was under way, a Tarot reader was due to arrive....very busy. Make reservations or expect a wait. Wine is 50% off on Wednesday, so worth a visit.
We dined for my going away party. Only issue we had was we were sat in the back corner by the kitchen and it was really loud and dark. When I brought it to the hostess attention she became very rude towards me and my request, I am in hospitality and understand sometimes that can be a nuisance but my party and I were pleasant as can be with our request so it was surprising to see her reaction. Our server at our new table was phenomenal and made up for everything. Will definitely return!
The portions were very good sized, even though we were told they were small portions. Everything was delicious. The cheesecake bites were amazing!
The atmosphere was so fun & colorful. The people were very nice. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Brunch was fantastic! Server was patient and explained things in detail as it was our first time! Enjoyed being able to try many different offerings and highlights include Candied Bacon, chicken egg rolls and steak skewers!! Carving station was a nice touch!
Overall we will be back asap!
