About Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando
Located near the Orlando Eye and Orange County Convention Center, CAFÉ TU TU TANGO evokes a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another. Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, the bohemian lifestyle fashioned life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared, over drink, music, and conversation.
One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only does our scratch kitchen serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so with appetizer-style portions that are meant to be shared. Choose an array of dishes for your table, and let the party enjoy them communally. Experience a spectrum of the world's most tantalizing tastes together. Savor both the food and the company. This is what life is all about. Come in and join the party!

Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
We had alligator (ok), shrimp tacos (good) and pizza carne (very good). Place is very frantic and full of amateur art work....some good, some not so good. Art is so crammed together it's hard to appreciate. During our stay an art class was under way, a Tarot reader was due to arrive....very busy. Make reservations or expect a wait. Wine is 50% off on Wednesday, so worth a visit.
We dined for my going away party. Only issue we had was we were sat in the back corner by the kitchen and it was really loud and dark. When I brought it to the hostess attention she became very rude towards me and my request, I am in hospitality and understand sometimes that can be a nuisance but my party and I were pleasant as can be with our request so it was surprising to see her reaction. Our server at our new table was phenomenal and made up for everything. Will definitely return!
The portions were very good sized, even though we were told they were small portions. Everything was delicious. The cheesecake bites were amazing!
The atmosphere was so fun & colorful. The people were very nice. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Brunch was fantastic! Server was patient and explained things in detail as it was our first time! Enjoyed being able to try many different offerings and highlights include Candied Bacon, chicken egg rolls and steak skewers!! Carving station was a nice touch!
Overall we will be back asap!
Went here for my birthday dinner and having been here before, was excited to be back. The ambiance was fun, different and cozy at the same time. Enjoyed the food and several new items and chef's specials that were featured that night. Service was attentive but a little slow-paced. Food was great. Loved the vegetable paella with the "forbidden" rice. It was awesome and paired greatly with the guava ribs! Loved this!! Put it on the regular menu, guys!
Our waiter, Sidney, was great and attentive.
We went for a Mother Daughter get away. What fun enjoyed looking at the awesome art work. We did the Sunday brunch and had a ball choosing our menue items. Bloody Marys were awesome. You could of payed $15 for all you can drink, but with all the food offerings on the brunch ($25 all you can eat) it would of been way too filling. We definetly return!
We have always enjoyed this restaurant when we are in Orlando; however, they changed the menu since the last time we were in the area. Many of the choices were very spicy. We tried the chicken sliders, the egg rolls, and the shrimp and grits. The chicken sliders were really thin and way too spicy. The egg rolls were good, but the shrimp and grits, which should had some spice were lacking flavor of any kind. It was still fun and we enjoyed looking at the paintings and the artist at work. Our drinks were good, but everything we ordered came within five minutes of each other. Next time, we will put in one item, eat, and then order the next choice, and then the last one.
What a gem we found! We visited twice in the 2 weeks we were in Orlando. The first visit was absolutely perfect with the best wait staff ever...Courtni. The server on the second visit was less attentive or engaging but certainly adequate. The food was fabulous, and we loved all the options. We did the Food Tour on our first visit and were amazed by the amount and quality of the food. With a smaller group on the second visit, we ordered a la carte choosing some of our favorites from the tour. It's great seeing artists at work. We loved this place!
We had a party of 8 for my daughter's birthday. The service was great, food was great too. The pricing is debatable though. The coconut dessert lacked flavor. It was rather bland. The shrimp and grits were amazing! I wish the kids meal options were just as good or maybe better options.
cafe TuTu Tango........just a fun, eclectic place with great food. We love to dine tapas style and this place takes shared plates to new levels. It does not seem possible that an independent restaurant in restaurant row could survive but the management here knows what it is doing and Orlando regulars support it. Our suggestions for food are to come here, relax with a drink and then order items that catch your eye. Share, taste and enjoy a variety of foods.
Keep it up Cafe Tu Tu Tango.
