About Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando

Located near the Orlando Eye and Orange County Convention Center, CAFÉ TU TU TANGO evokes a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another. Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, the bohemian lifestyle fashioned life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared, over drink, music, and conversation.

One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only does our scratch kitchen serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so with appetizer-style portions that are meant to be shared. Choose an array of dishes for your table, and let the party enjoy them communally. Experience a spectrum of the world's most tantalizing tastes together. Savor both the food and the company. This is what life is all about. Come in and join the party!

Pluses: the ambience is interesting. Lots of artwork on the walls and an artist actively working on something while we were there. They have a beer tasting that is very generous - 4 samples of what's on draft for $7 and the pours were fairly substantial. A couple of the small plates we got were very good and imaginative: the pears and the cauliflower. I always enjoy tapas restaurants because I can try several different things without breaking the bank.

Minuses: Extremely noisy. We were there on a weeknight and I expect the noise levels go up even more on the weekends. The food was uneven. They ran out of the special lamb sliders that I wanted to try (and it was fairly early in the evening) and the ones I got instead were only so-so. The fish tacos that my companion ordered were cold when they got to the table. The service was very, very slow.

Two of our items were missing garnish ingredients. The shrimp and grits was so incredible, that we ordered a 2nd round. Unfortunately the second one came out without any bacon, which made it fall short from t
perfection. The heirloom tomato panzanella came out without croutons. Our server went back to get the croutons as soon as we alerted her, but the tomatoes were mushy so this dish fell short. We'll still be back as it's just such an awesome menu and fun vibe.

I go for the Bloody Mary's and flatbread pizza. The crowd and the noise level are to much for me during the Sunday Brunch. They have eliminated a number of my favorites from the menu. I will probably give one more chance during another not so busy time. Still have great Bloody Mary's but the crowd and noise are just to much. Not to mention all parking during the Sunday Brunch is Valet.

The restaurant was great, however we weren’t in the best seating area as it was cold and we were placed right by the door. But the food was excellent, the drinks were great, and it was fine.

Great server, excellent food! Always enjoy tapas dining and the choices were delicious. No wait to be seated at our reservation time and timing of drinks and food arrival was good. Had some of the chef’s specials and they were great choices. Always a fun experience.

MorraKIKIcan Cauliflower and Cubans!!

We went for lunch on my sis in laws recommendation and were so happy we did. Our server KiKI was awesome and made the experience a really fun one. Started off with a "pitcher" of red sangria which came with a glass of ice and fruit! It was very good but not sweet enough for us so I added some liquid stevia and that made it just right. We shared the Moroccan Cauliflower, Cuban sliders, and 2 other dishes. All great and so hard to decide what to order!
We liked it so much we went back the next day and had Audra who took great care of us.
Fun to look at all of the local art that is available to purchase too.

Went with a group of coworkers. Love all the art and performers around the restaurant, very entertaining and lively. The sangria was fabulous. I think we tried almost everything on the menu and never found something that we did not like.

The last time I was at Sunday brunch it was more relaxed. This time it was wild and they kept giving my cajun eggrolls away. The bloody marys were very good though. Always good, better when not so crazy.

Food is above average in flavor overall, however some dishes need improvement or should not be on the menu at all. The space is very nice, but they packed too many customers in at once. Very difficult to maneuver in between tables.

Once again Tu Tu meets our expectations for delicious tapas, casual dining, the best sangria as it is house made and not from a mix. Tu Tu Tango remains our favorite go to restaurant in Orlando and is amazes us how it remains an independently owned restaurant in a sea of chain restaurants. A must: the guava ribs and the southwest chicken egg roll. Great place to experiment with small plates.
The same week we threw a business meal here for 15 people and everyone had a fun time and loved the food.

When we got to the restaurant they informed me they did not have my reservation via open table. Even though I received several confirmation emails. The hostess said " Sometimes that happens" I was absolutely fine with it as long as they could seat us. The hostess seemed confused and after a five minute discussion I finally said.." Do you have a table available now? " and she said yes. We sat at the bar and it was so dark I could barely read the menu. I had to get my phone out. It was also extremely loud and I had to shout to speak to my friend sitting next to me. This was my second time here and it was not like that the first time. I would go back but request a different table to sit at than the area we were in.

Cool place, bohemian feel, a mixture of interesting art covers the walls, much of it for sale. Often you can see an artist at work. The food is great - tapas style - and creative. Small plates with great flavours that encourage sharing. Drinks are also very good. I’ve been there many times over the last ten years and have always had good service.

We loved the eclectic, vibrant atmosphere! We enjoyed different tapas dishes. Artwork is cool. A bellydancer was there for part of the evening. The only drawback was being initially seated in a tight corner. One of us would have had a view of a wall just behind the other's chair and really missed out on the atmosphere, etc. We asked to move to an available table just next to it and were accommodated. I'm not sure why we were seated there at all when other tables were available. Otherwise, a very enjoyable place!

A very eclectic restaurant that has been open for years, but doesn't make you feel that it is old and tired. Very upbeat with great food and good service! Try the shrimp and grits along with the cheesecake lollipops! Both were outstanding!

Short wait at host stand. Found our reservation easily. Granted our request for non high top table. Service was top notch. Believe it was Andrew. Dessert given as consolation for lost food ticket/long wait on one item. Nice touch. Drinks recommended by server were to my liking. Multiple items ordered, scallops were cooked perfectly. Creole mustard sauce was delicious. Parking was easy. Art for purchase is neat.

Do not order the 25.00 per person all inclusive. My wife and I order a order of chicken egg rolls and she couldn't finish them. I asked if we can wrap them up so we can take them home. We were told that we couldn't. If I paid for it I should be able to take home my food. Never again....

Had a great time at brunch celebrating my daughter's 33rd birthday with family. We were a party of 9 and the server took great care of us......my husband is a huge water drinker and anyone who can keep his carafe and glass full deserves kudos. It was fun to make our own bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, taco bar was very good and the yummy bottomless small plates for brunch were delicious. Eclectic décor was fun. Plan to go again. If you're a local go during the off season when I-Drive area isn't as inundated with tourists.

Both my girlfriend & I split 4 separate apps. Roasted pork Tostaditas, spiced alligator bites, Vietnamese tacos and No way Jose Sliders. Phenomenal. We also had 2 signature in - house cocktails. Delicious. Art for sale everywhere, slightly loud atmosphere, music, and fast service! I recommended this place to everyone.
