Was expecting a much better experience based on reviews on the food. The shrimp lettuce wraps and brussel sprouts were okay but everything else was greasy and not good.
Stumbled onto this location by pure luck and was rewarded with a real gem!!
We had such an amazing time at Tu Tu Tango. Best brunch ever!!!
Not only was the food amazing, but the staff went out of their way to make sure we had an exceptional experience! The Cafe Tu Tu Tango family has raised the bar for my future dining expectations. Your whole crew was attentive when it came to dietary restrictions and your team blew us away when you were able to accommodate our wishes with an item that was no longer on the menu. I truly felt like Larry was there to assist us and listen to any issues we had, unlike many restaurants these days where the manager is nowhere to be found when you need him the most. Your chef and kitchen are an incredibly talented bunch and I can't wait to recommend Cafe Tu Tu Tango to everyone I meet. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was fun and hip, and the staff (if I haven't made this clear by now) was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Our next trip to Orlando will 100% begin with a trip back to this restaurant!
Everything was fantastic except the music was a tad too loud making it hard to hear server and talk amoungst our group.
Been several times with workmates after business meetings, this was the first time coming with my family and our close friends who have also been before...we had a blast and can’t wait to come back. My family loved it!!
The establishment was crazy busy and our waitress couldn’t keep up with her tables. She was awesome WHEN she was able to come to our table. She was so busy, she forgot to enter our last brunch order.
First time coming to this restaurant. Great experience. Tapas food menu had very good variety and tasted very good. Staff including server were exceptional. Finally great ambience. Highly recommend
Great! Drinks were relatively weak in strength - tasted great but not worth the $11-12
Great dining experience. We sat outside and had a great time. Energetic restaurant, great service. Tapas style and it comes out quick. Every dish was good and we tried a lot. The Guava Ribs, Dynamite Shrimp, Fish Tacos and Tuna Sashimi really stood out. There was something for everyone.
We eat here everytime we come to Orlando. Love this place. ❤❤❤
Everything was great (as usual), but we're getting old. It was so loud no one could hear the conversation. No worries. Everyone was having a great time.
Love sharing small plates at Tu Tu Tango - they were very busy so initial order and getting bill was slow - they were also sending the food to wrong tables. But - it's always fun to go there. Just have some time - it will take awhile.
Food was great. The drinks were watered down and sent back a few times. I'd never go for the drinks but the food... amazing
We loved this adorable place with more authentic character than all of Disney and Orlando combined! Great food, a fun environment, and unique art.
A little slow service to start out with but they took care of the ordering for us and it was pretty cheap.
This used to be our absolute favorite restaurant since we've been coming here for 14 years to Orlando. We would recommend it to every one of our friends who visited. But we were really disappointed with some changes we noticed this time. Mainly, the service was very lacking and seemed inexperienced. They were out of four different items that we tried to order and the menu had been considerably shortened since our last visit in 2016. There were no plates on our table and we had to request them, as well as silverware when we ran out. And a few of the forks were dirty in the silverware jar. Also, when we ordered a drink from the bar that is typically served warm in a snifter (a common after-dinner drink), they brought it over ice. It's really one that any bartender would know. The place wasn't nearly as crowded as it always used to be, so we're wondering if maybe others are feeling the same or management or ownership has changed or something. In any event, it was a real bummer - and we were celebrating a birthday, too. We'll probably not come back next time we are here.
Great place where I come for years. Really recommendable if you like easy food, good wine and something else than a regular restaurant. Buy a painting while eating or have your future explained with Tarot... or enjoy the Spanish dance...
We couldn't wait to get back here. Our server Lily was fantastic, so nice, helpful and attentive.
We once again had one of our favorites... the steak skewers with chilled soy noodles. Pork belly sliders were good, the pickled shrimp was awesome, a new favorite! Street corn was good, it must be, it seemed they couldn't make enough fast enough, it was my 1st time ever tasting it and I liked it. Try the cocktail menu too, lots of interesting things there.
Great place to take people from out of town...or to just enjoy the eclectic fun atmosphere, while in Orlando/Kissimmee area. Food is excellent, atmosphere is fun, different artist, entertainment whenever you go...kick back and enjoy the scenery!
We had a great meal! There were 6 of us, so I definitely recommend reservations. Our server Nick was fantastic - friendly and didn’t let our drinks run out!
Eclectic decor and unusual art lend to the interesting ambience. Food was bit pricey, but was very good and unusual. We really enjoyed the experience.
We did the tour. Kids loved it we got excited for each plate. Not knowing exactly what was coming next and each one tasting great made for a great experience.
Brunch here!! It’s amazing and eclectic.
Didn’t have the greatest experience. Drink I ordered, should have probably been sent back, serve staff rarely checked back with us, not provided any refills. After round one of food came, we put in one extra order of food (as she recommended). After 30 minutes, we had to call her over just to realize (as she had admitted it herself) that she had only 30 min left on the clock so she didn’t put the order in. She says the next time we come, to ask for her and she’ll give us a dish on her. We were visiting in town, don’t plan to return nor would have specifically asked for her since she didn’t provide us a good experience at all.
Outstanding value with great energy! Highly recommend!
Service was excellent and our meal was paced well. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really fun and eclectic. Food was delicious and very fresh. Overall such a fun night!
We started off good. First round of food came out very quickly, but slowed down as the restaurant began to fill. To be excepted. Our waitress was great, but I only gave a 4 on service because the she never offered to ask me if I would care for another drink, after I finished my first. We have a ten here several times. It seems the menu has been scaled down, and some of our favorites are no longer on the menu. Overall we left very satisfied, and probably ordered a little too much.
Everything was great- the ambience, food, service. The only complaint I have is that the tres leches was not good at all and the shrimp toast was kind of bland. The steak skewers and avocado hummus were amazing!
Mary Ann was personable yet professional and all the while it was a very packed night. She made great recommendations. All the staff appeared friendly; from the complimentary valet to the hostess to the very lovely lady who sat us down and explained all the art in Cafe Tu Tu Tango... great food. We look forward to going back. Even if 90% of the menu has a little kick to it and I don’t really like spicy. Mary Ann (our server) made on point suggestions and aided with substitutions. Each dish has a little for everyone’s pallet.
Food was delicious. Waiter was very nice and friendly. Served quickly. Not expensive.
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The only issue was with the food service. They have 3 kitchens so everything doesn’t come out all together, which they do tell you but we had sushi come out last and pizza out first. We were a party of 4 and ordered 12 things and some things some didn’t eat and vise versa, so I would just be prepared for that. But overall the food was delicious and the atmosphere is very cool.
Fun meal, great location. Our server Brittany was FANTASTIC. We had a little desert mix-up (kitchen took forever), and she kept checking in on us/being super pleasant/giving great service. The food is fun, but heavy despite the small plates format. The dishes could be more cohesive too. There is lots of variety, but in a small plates format it doesn't feel like a flowing meal. The outdoor patio is fantastic in good weather!
Always enjoy our here! Fun place for small plates, sharing and good times
We have dined numerous times in the years they have been open and it is one of the rare reasons we will make the trip from Orlando to that area.
The vast majority of eateries in the tourist mecca that is International Drive are chains in form or another or low quality places, however Tu Tu Tango is one of the oasis of originality and quality on the tourist trail.
Every time we have gone the food, drinks, and wine selection is excellent and always get great service. We are vegetarian and can count on Tu Tu Tango to have lots of options.
The host stand was great and accommodating as my party size grew on Sunday brunch...the time we waited though is where they almost lost me...the bartenders were more concerned about patrons sitting and a baby at the bar and seemed annoyed when 5 of us wanted to get drinks...we did the unlimited and they forced us to close out before seating but informed us to keep our receipt...I get it they wanna get paid, but turns out we were overcharged because if you do brunch and bottomless together it's cheaper than what we actually paid :( ANTOIN is where it all came back! He is amazing and a major asset to this restaurant! He is the BEST ! THANK YOU ANTOIN (I hope I'm spelling your name right)
Our waiter basically forgot us... we had to go to the bar ourselves and get our daughters sprite refilled, we had to ask another server for plates and silverware, after our initial order our waiter never asked if we wanted to order anything else nor were deserts even mentioned... we’ve been to tutu many times over the years and even the Atlanta location when it was there and this was the worst service we’ve had
My colleagues and I opted for the tasting menu! This is a great option if you want to try about a dozen menu items (includes 2 desserts) and you've got some room to eat a lot of food. Their "small plates" are indeed quite generous and in retrospective maybe more than you're used to for tapas-style eating. Food was timely, fresh, and tasty! Menu Must-haves: Shrimp Lettuce wraps (A++), Brussel Sprouts, Guava BBQ Ribs.
Atmosphere is SO NICE! Such a fun place to join friends and family and enjoy a good meal. The artwork is fun to look at, see what's new! So nice to see the artists in action, too!
My wife and I have visited this establishment a few times before. We're not sure when the "rules" changed but they did, which is totally fine. Just explaining that would have been good, as it would have given us the option to choose whether or not we wanted to dine. The "rule" I speak of is the unlimited buffet. We always do the unlimited buffet + mimosas but this trip we had our daughter with us and she doesn't eat much. We also had two friends joining us, who had previously eaten, they were just joining us for drinks. Well if one person does the unlimited buffet, every person dining has to get it. I understand they have concerns about people sharing food but I can't fathom paying buffet prices for my kid who only eat potatoes, and I don't think it's fair for every person to have to pay. But, the manager was understanding of my concern and everything was worked out. I just feel the "rule" needs to be disclosed as part of their pitch.
