I go back to Cafe Tiramisu because it is always consistently good!
The best restaurant in SF, the best bang for your buck. It doesnt get any better then this. If you want great service, great food, come here. OUTSTANDING
Went there for a business lunch due to the good selection of fish dishes. Three of us got the fish special of the day and we were very happy with it. Dessert was great as well. The owner waited on us and we were very well taken care of.
The food was amazing. The staff was very attentive. When I took a picture of the coffee (it was in the cutest little cup), the owner noticed. He came by and gave us each a cup, which is part of a special collection from Milan. So generous. Even without that kindness, the food was amazing and the location is in this hidden little gem of a restaurant row.
Group of 5 for lunch. All ordered different items from menu and all agreed very tasty and enjoyed their entrees. Of course, the Tiramisu for dessert was excellent.
Very nice tucked away Italian restaurant with cozy atmosphere and very good food selection and wine as well.
Fantastic food and service - hope I’m back in SF so I can revisit.
Wonderful service from the host/waiters! Great wine and food was great. But we were disappointed by the dessert sadly, but overall experience was great. Sitting outside wasn’t an issue on a chilly SF night because they turned on overhead heaters!
Incredible per usual. Outstanding restaurant. Amazing food.
We had a reservation and were immediately seated in a table of our choice. The waiter was helpful, but no pushy. And he deboned my fish when it came. The presentation of the food was beautiful and all was delicious. Two waiters came to our table with our dessert with a lighted candle for my birthday and sang the birthday song for us. Other patrons joined in so it was very jolly. And we returned the favour when another guest also had a birthday. A memorable evening.
the clams were mushy--didn't taste fresh; noodles were good; ambient great; service ok
A delightful evening. Very gracious host. Service was attentive, prompt and congenial. Food was delicious. Shared the Burrata appetizer. Stuffed chicken tasty. Gnocchi was incredibly tasty with rich deep flavor.
Just make sure to avoid the “wind tunnel” when getting seated.
Very friendly service. We had the ravioli and gnocchi. Both were delicious. The tiramisu was perfectly light and creamy. Best we’ve ever had.
We got in early for lunch, and found that it got quite busy from noon on. Food was very good, service was good, but rushed given the busy lunch crowd. Probably need more wait staff that is knowledgeable about menu items.
Been going to Tiramisu for years. Always consistently delicious, friendly, and a fantastic experience. I recommend it highly.
Great pasta and great service. This place is good for team lunches.
Service was extremely slow. We liked the food, menu and feeling of this place. Servers were nice and knowledgeable, but seemed very rushed. We will try again, and see if it was an off night
Our waiter was also the host and was fantastic. He was really good offering the two kids in our group really nice kid friendly options and he was simply a really nice and helpful server/waiter. Really great spot, grilled octopus starter really good, bruchetta starter amazing and all of the four adults loved their entrees (gnocchi, chicken breast and a special seafood pasta
A very pleasant dinner experience. Great staff; Christian (server), Joel (bussing) and Monica (hostess). The bread with olive/pesto oil was excellent. All the apps were great. Custom ordered Linguine Aglio e olio and it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Very pleasant dining experience.
Fantastic meal. Owner recommended everything for us: apps, wine, meal, and dessert... Wow.
Excellent food and service from start to finish! Highly recommend and the quaint Belden street feels so European.
Every dish was absolutely delicious. I had the spinach ravioli, and it was perfectly sauces and seasoned. All members of my party left satisfied
Food came out in less then 10 minutes. It was an already prepared meal and then heated for the order. I had the Risotto which was mushy and had only 4 small shrimp placed on top. Our order of the oysters were small in size and salty. The place offers no ambience. Save your money.
Hands down some of the best northern Italian cuisine outside of Italy. Burata, Whole roasted Brandzino, Tiramisu, in that order, ask Giuseppe for a reco on the wine. It's been around for years, the decor reflects that but its a clean, welcoming and charming little gem on beldon place!
Absolutely fabulous! The gilled octopus was tender and tasty. The ciaoppino in lobster broth was the very best I have ever had. The peach tarte was delicious too, Can't wait to go back and try their house made gnocchi!
Group had a great time. I've been here several times... never disappoints!
Quaint, family ran, authentic Italian restaurant.
I love the food here. Our service was outstanding. Location is great with the options to sit outside or inside. Try the octopus and the gnocchi - outstanding!
Check the bill closely. They charge more than what is listed on the menu.
Good food. Just might but the restaurant handled it well. Branzino was tasty.
Unfortunately for this restaurant, we had the worst meat sauce pappardelle ever (and the waiter recommended it). Salad was odd mixture that included something like jalapeños. Very disappointing that it had a high review on Open Table which made us try it while visiting SF. We wanted it to be good — the tiramisu was excellent — and we think the owner was even there working the tables. But it was 3/4 empty on a Saturday night so we should have known better and turned around. The wine list seemed out of place since there were mostly expensive bottles (many VERY at 3-4 figures). I hope they can get it together and improve.
Drove to San Francisco to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We made a reservation and mentioned our birthdays....told waiter at restaurant about birthday. And the owner and waiters then forgot about it. They never said a thing. I wrote note about this on signed check, but they ignored that too. Food average. Disappointing . Go someplace else.
Enjoyed a nice meal for my sister’s 70th Birthday . It was great because we were also celebrating my son’s graduation from a master’s program at The Academy of Art University.
Fabulous, fresh and excellent service! The deserts were amazing too. Everything was perfect.
Tony showed us great hospitality!
The salmon was not fresh.
Excellent food and service
We ordered the meatballs and crab cake for appetizers.
I ordered the clams with pasta and it was very good. Pasta was el dente and there was a good amount of clams.
Got together with friends for dinner on a week night in late March. We sat indoors.
I was surprised to see my check being more expensive than I remembered ordering. After reviewing the check, every other dish was up charged up to 8 dollars and their excuse was that “we still have prices from our winter menu” even though it was April at the time. This incidence was completely unprofessional and their resolution to the problem was absent.
