Always a pleasure being there. Sabrina is an excellent and personable server. You can’t go wrong with her teammate Brooklyn either. Food outstanding and worth the wait and price.

The one minus about my brunch experience was the waiting. Everything took FOREVER. Even 2 other customers next to my friend and I were wondering why the wait was so long for everything. However, the food and drink were perfection. I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Hopefully the wait time improves.

Crab cakes and mashed potatoes came to the table room temp. I saw our crab cakes on the ledge under the light for a long time before waiter brought both orders to table. Crab cakes had so much breading, I couldn’t taste the crab.

Food was fantastic and service was above and beyond expectations. Three of us dined at dinner time and each chose something different from drinks, entrees and desserts and all were fantastic. Chef came out and visited with us twice, thanked us for being there and we will definitely continue to patronize. A hidden gem in Huntsville that includes a small museum and quality dining options. Can’t wait to try their brunch menu!

Excellent Eggs Benedict, very dry omelet. Mimosa's were a perfect way to start the morning. I would recommend to a friend but give them a quick overview.

Everything is organic and fresh, and you can definitely taste the difference. The only complaint I have is that the avocado on the avocado toast was not seasoned, so if you do not have the sauce/spread on parts of the avocado, it becomes bland. When ordering hot tea, you are provided an entire pot with a slice of lemon, organic honey, and a raw sugar stir stick on the side. It was a nice experience, and our waitress was super sweet.

We looked forward to the first dinner service. The hostess was very hospitable and placed us at a nice table. Sabrina, our server was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. We had Maine Crabcake appetizers which were perfect. Order steaks for main course that were cooked order. Only glitch in the meal is that the baked potatoes were not fully cooked. The chef came out to explain the issue and offered to replace. Issue is the kitchen has no microwave so there wasn’t a quick fix. He provided complimentary deserts for our party. So pleased to have a restaurant of this quality in Huntsville,

Beautiful new cafe in Huntsville! The food was fabulous and the ambience excellent. We celebrated birthday and anniversary and could hear our own conversation which is rare in most restaurants. Service was timely, very helpful and friendly! Will absolutely go back! The museum is an must see! I was stunned with all the exhibits they had.

Do NOT bother making a reservation.. they do not honor them. We show up on time for our reservation and they gave our table to a walk in party and expected us wait for another table. And not only another table 2 small round tables for 6 people. Unbelievable! We walked out and went to another restaurant and was seated immediately!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at breakfast at The Texan. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We enjoyed touring the museum afterwards. We’ll definitely return!

Very cool modern style in an old building. Food was good but is a tad on the expensive side, but still less than $20. Will be making a return visit. The attached museum is very cool and is worth a visit in itself.

Another great visit to Cafe Texan, this time for breakfast. One order of Eggs Benedict, perfect and another order of eggs, bacon, biscuit and hash browns. Both were excellent. Hope they add Chai tea soon.

Wonderful, upbeat atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was high quality, large quantity, and beautifully plated. We ate the Sunday Brunch. We are looking forward to eating off the lunch menu on our next visit.

Everything was above average. Nice appointments and finish of space. A bit pricy but somewhat understandable. Coffee was, sorry to say, “poor”. Weak body, flat aroma, dull flavor, over-roasted. This should be easy to remedy. Museum was a pleasant experience in presentation and content. Is there an”upstairs”?

We are so happy this Cafe has reopened. The new Cafe is beautiful and the food was outstanding. Breakfast and lunch only but great menus for both as well as brunch on the weekends. We were there for lunch and had a great experience. On top of great food and service, we visited the museum next to the diner. There are no words for how good this collection is. Don't miss the chance to dine at the Cafe and enjoy the museum afterwards. You have to see it to believe it.

We had a large party (12) that we made a reservation for the night before (after hours) and they accommodated it exactly on time and all our food was brought to table at same time and all was great. Great ambiance. Cute and eclectic museum

My husband and I went for breakfast and it was delicious. We were both stuffed, and did not quite finish our plates. The maple bacon was fantastic, not super salty and not too sweet. We had both potato options, both were good, but I preferred the good old fashioned hash browns. The biscuits were fluffy and flavorful. We also got one pancake on the side, and it was fluffy and tasty as well. Sometimes pancakes can be tough, but these were not. Lastly, we tend to be snobbish about our coffee, but we definitely enjoyed theirs. We will definitely be back. Be prepared, the prices are very similar what you would see at a great brunch place in the city, but it was worth it!

Today was my fifth visit in five days to the Cafe Texan History Museum & Library. Tuessday my wife and I took three people with us for lunch, two of us had the Chicken Fried Steak, one had seared tuna and the other had lime chicken and another had the burger. Before the meal, I asked if they served cocktails yet, and our waiter said to his knowledge that no one had ordered a hard liquor license since they just got their license Sunday. So I was honored to be the first hard drink order in the new history of this wonderful place, I had an "old fashion", it was very good. They are open 7 days a week, and have three menus at this point: breakfast & lunch for M-Sat and brunch on Sunday. If you have not tried the "new Texan," I guarantee that it will not disappoint.
