Segovia is a beautiful, and iconic, laneway cafe bar, situated at the heart of Block Place. Offering modern Euro-Australian brunch and lunch by day; delectable tapas, cheese boards, Australian wines and an extensive cocktail list by night. Since 2020, Segovia has been an eat-in gallery space, cafe and bar featuring the work of Australian photographer Robert Langlois. Segovia is considered one of Melbourne’s original laneway cafes due to its original existing architecture and interior design.

Recently, Head Chef Matthew Fisher, and Lead Barman Alireza Pajouhandeh have launched their 22-23 respective seasonal menus. Both feature bright complimentary flavours; for Fisher this means a strong emphasis on fresh herbs, fruits, cheeses, fruitte de Mare and locally sourced raw ingredients; Pajouhandeh has concentrated on multidimensional flavour profiles, housemade syrups featuring spring flowers like lavender, woody rosemary and locally made gin.
