Cafe Pamlico's mission is to provide a world class dining experience through exceptional food, outstanding detail oriented service, an inspired wine and cocktail program, and gracious attentive Southern hospitality. Our contemporary coastal cuisine is driven by locally sourced seafood, meats, and produce. Our menu changes frequently in accordance with the fresh ingredients our chefs discover on the island, most notably the fresh local seafood we feature. The fish we serve each evening is frequently taken from the nets of friends that very morning. We are committed to supporting local farmers and artisan food producers first, sustainable resources second, and organic third. The Cafe serves elegant gourmet dinners prepared by our world class chefs from four to seven nights each week, depending on season. Dinner reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is often filled to capacity by reservation. We are open to the public every morning for our famous casually elegant breakfasts, called "Best on the Outer Banks" by National Geographic Traveler. Cafe Pamlico is committed to extending gracious hospitality beyond the walls of our restaurant and into the community. We manage our organization in an ecologically sensitive and economically sustainable manner, driven by genuine concern for our environment and the jobs we create in our community, and always in accordance with the customer satisfaction policies of our business model.     The Palmlico dinner was such a wonderful experience-we have driven by this place since they were open and always said we would like to go there-Being our 30th anniversary we invited our closest friends to go with us to the cafe since we were married on the beach-We were greeted at the door and quickly seated -Our waiter Dallas did an outstanding job!The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious ! We hope to go back soon!

    The service was excellent!! Best service I’ve had in a long time. Our server was on top of everything and we had a large group as well. The food and drink was very good. I love the mimosa selection. I will definitely go back again.

    This was our second visit to Cafe Pamlico and just like last time, it did not disappoint. We purposely got there a little early to enjoy a fun drink at the cute bar that has about 6 seats. The bartender was very friendly and our drinks were delicious. We had the choice of inside or outside dining and chose inside with a fantastic view of the sound. Our server was great and very informative. We ordered the crab bisque and the soup du jour and LOVED both dishes. For our entree I ordered the Filet Neptune and my wife had their Fresh Catch with red grouper. I cleaned my plate and my wife had a little grouper left to take home for a taco the next day. We were too full to enjoy dessert but there’s always next time. Thank you Cafe Pamlico for making another date night there a great one! See you soon.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time here, and we’re already planning our return! Dallas, our server, was basically a food Jedi—seriously, they knew everything and made sure we were taken care of like VIPs. And the food? Don’t even get me started on the crab cakes. It’s been six days, and I’m still daydreaming about them. The espresso martini we had at the end of the night was the best drink I've had in a long time made with fresh espresso truly to die for. The outdoor setting was so romantic, it felt like we were in a movie. It was spotless, beautiful, but still welcoming and cozy. Oh, and they even had bug spray! Talk about thinking of everything. The whole team was super friendly, making the place feel like home… if home had world-class food. We’ll definitely be back—if only to chase down those crab cakes again. 10/10 would recommend.
