We were not certain as to the quality of food we would get in a hotel restaurant.
The menu was quite diverse.
The prices seemed a bit high.
The food was very fresh and tasty.
Very very good meal.
My wife had the salmon and it just melted in her mouth!
I had steak and it was very juicy and cooked to perfection.
Even the side items were crisp and very good.
We speak French and the waitress noticed.
She then decided to serve us in French for the rest of the meal. Very nice touch.
The ambiance was great.
The food was not worth the money.
Will never go back
The ambient of cafe one best the best part of our dinner.
Amazing breakfast was had! Service was fast and friendly.
The live music was the best part. The service was pretty good too. But the food for the price point isn’t worth it.
It was wonderful experience and our server made it so special for us!
Thank you for a delightful evening :) We will certainly be back!
Felt super safe and very welcome! Staff was great and food was delicious! We just had to ask them to dim the lights to make it a little more cozy and they promptly did...thought it was a great idea! Would definitely go back!
The waiter interacted in a very friendly manner, was interested in conversation and provided great service. The food had interesting takes on standard fare. The food was delicious. Ambience was nice.
Clean, quite quiet and some decent happy hour snacks. Service was outstanding & I’ll be back!
Nice ambient, not too many people. They served a complimentary cocktail and the food portion size was bigger than we all had expected. Servers were super friendly and were wearing masks all times. We were all very full and satisfied when we left. Highly recommend this place!
Very nicely presented, delicious food. Definitely fine dining style worthy. Waiters were also very friendly and accommodating. I wish this place would be more open to the public instead of just the hotel guests.
Outstanding service on the patio and a beautiful afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and garden at the Wall Centre. Crab cakes were delicious and club sandwich was good. Food was a tad bit expensive but given all the covid challenges, fine for now. Thank you to the bar server who did a great job on Sunday afternoon!
Overall, it was a very good experience. Service was great, the seating was spacious. The dine out menu was good for value, no glimmicks!
Dine Out Vancouver 2020
Overall it was a nice experience. The food was delicious and service was good. The hostess assumed we had reservations for 5 people and then didn’t take our order for a while assuming there were 3 more people coming even though we tried to make eye contact and waved our hands numerous times. Our reservation was for 2 people clearly and unmistakably. The food tasted great, however I found the portions a little too small for a $35 price tag. This was for Dine Out 2020.
Went for dine out, portion size was very small and slow service time.
Came for dine out. Food was bland and some were butter. Serving sizes were tiny considering the price. Service was a bizmull. No quality checks and long waits in between.
Christmas Day dinner
Set menu and price
Food good but not outstanding
Service very efficient
Pleasant environment, enjoyed live piano player
Christmas Day dinner. We thought it was a buffet but instead a set menu. Waiter suggested the kids order from the bar menu and they were thrilled as they are not turkey lovers. Grateful to the waiter. We also invited a woman who was eating alone to join our party of 7. It was in the true spirit of Christmas!!
The Christmas dinner we had was good but for the price we paid I expected a better experience. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. The turkey was cold but the stuffing was delicious.I have had better food there before so I would recommend it just don,t have the Christmas dinner there. This was the first time I was never really full after eating Christmas dinner.
When I booked for Christmas lunch I did not notice that it was brunch venue. We did not want brunch so we were given a menu which had no traditional courses ie turkey/ with veggies; prime rib etc. So we were disappointed. Must say that our fish and chip were fine but not what we were hoping for a Christmas meal. There was no Christmas pudding or cake for dessert.
the service was very good but the noise level was 'energetic' which made it difficult to hear the other person at my table.
The coffee was very expensive - for ordinary coffee and not speciality coffee
The service was disorganized. The food was ok, but pretty basic by hotel standards. The dining area is not particularly nice. I wouldn't go again. Overall, not worth it.
Good quality food and service was great - very attentive and friendly.
Very friendly staff and brought a treat for my daughter ‘s b day. Good food and nice atmosphere. Parking is costly underground. Would definitely recommend for people who wants to have family celebration.
Excellent location for a casual get together with friends, good food, service at a very good price.
Great experience as always! The food looked beautiful and was delicious. Service was flawless! I will come back soon for sure
Ate here for breakfast, food was great!
great service and was well recommended!
Not that great. Food was just ok. Didn’t find it special in anyway
Extremely poor server, no sight of him , no refill of coffee. Our server gave us an impression that he doesn't want to serve you. He made my day so uncomfortable.
Prompt, polite service and the food came out hot. Eggs benny were delicious.
A beautiful place to eat the music was amazing
Our server was great
I’m sorry that I don’t remember this lady’s name but she is awesome
The bar was busy and noisy. The restaurant was empty. By the time we left there were 2 other tables. It’s part of the hotel lobby and the acoustics do mean that there is a lot of noise bouncing around. Food was good. Tomato soup and chicken liver pate as starters then burger and a quinoa bowl for main courses. Nicely presented, tasty and decent portions.
It was very conveniently located for us to go across the street to Comedy Mix
I Loved their bouillabaisse! And their orange sorbet and sponge cake!
First breakfast of the year 2019 and it was amazing
We were seated quickly by very friendly staff and the food was great well displayed and tasted great. Would definitely come by again for sure. Keep up the good work.
Happy New year to you all
My daughter and I wanted to do something different for Christmas this year. After looking at other menus offered in the city for Christmas dinner we decided that Cafe One was offering a reasonably priced authentic dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful turkey dinner with all the fixings. The service was excellent and dessert was to die for! Highly recommend Cafe One!
