   We ate dinner at Cafe Muse for the first time. We had been there for breakfast and lunch before. The best thing was the green salad with beets and brussel sprouts and the pear and ginger cocktail. The shorts ribs were not tender and there was mostly bone and fat with not a lot of meat. The lamb meat in the pasta dish was not tender. The grilled cheese was too much bread and not enough cheese. The service was very good. The acoustics are bad on the bar side of the restaurant. It's very loud and makes it difficult to have a conversation. I would go back but prefer to eat outside or or on the other side of the restaurant and for breakfast or lunch.

   I ordered macaroni and cheese, unfortunately, it could've been better. That's my favorite thing on the menu, I order it every time I visit and it just wasn't quite right. Maybe it was just an off night, but I would still go back.

   Sadly I was disappointed. We arrived and had to wait quite a bit of time for our table even though the left side of the restaurant was almost empty. The server told us immediately he was having a bad day. It did look like he was, since he was acting as server and bartender. The drinks were good. It took us a long time to get our order taken and then to get our food and additional drinks. The table was split between really liking their food and thinking the food was just OK. I might return myself to see who things are a second time around, but I would not refer a friend until I was sure. With so many great reviews I expected much more. Also, with so many choices in Royal Oak, we could have gone many other places that would have made everyone happier. Maybe it just isn't a good Saturday night destination.

   The restaurant itself is great for a date night or a quiet dinner. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The food was not on par though. The soup had an awkward consistency and the burger was very undercooked.

   Made reservations for Saturday evening dinner but apparently the main dining room is no longer open for dinner. The adjacent bar area where we were seated is completely cheerless, the frosted-glass windows isolate customers from the neighborhood and create a feeling of being trapped. No bottle prices for wine; we were told we could just multiply any individual per-glass price by 4 and they'd sell us a bottle for that amount: certainly one of the more audacious approaches to wine markup I've encountered. The food was rationally priced and reasonably tasty but overall, the experience was not even close to what I'd remembered from the Cafe Muse of several years ago.

   Food was good but pacing was poor, we got our entrees before we finished the soups. Waiter was personable.

   We went very early to catch a show at Five15. The wine and potato bowl were both very tasty There were only two tables taken , so noise level and the super timely service could be different. I definitely recommend going there

   Our waitress was fantastic, however our food took a very long time to come out, and when it did mine was cold. Considering how expensive the entrees were and how not busy the restaurant was, it seemed like a bad reflection on the restaurant as a whole.

   So many delicious options from which to choose! We shared multiple items which were a good value and proportion. Gwyn provided excellent service.

    Our meal started off with a great server. She made great recommendations and was very engaging. Cocktails were unique and tasty. Everything we ordered was outstanding form the Mushroom soup to the Ribeye. We will defintely be back.
