    What fabulous ambiance and service. There is no wonder this restaurant is so highly rated. The attention to detail and knowledge of our server of what was being served on the four course dinner menu was second to none and his knowledge of the right wine pairing to choose was equally outstanding.

    Perfection from Greet to Goodbye- including valets outside. Food, meeting Gustavo and Ben and each person that touched our table were friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loved their jobs. What can I say- you set the bar so high and still exceeded expectations! Bravo!

    Greeted warmly, taken to the table right away, welcomed with a glass of bubbly, taken through the menus expertly by Dean, service impeccable, taste and presentation of each course exquisite, and the personalized menu presented at the end of the evening a very nice touch. Valet service was timely and complimentary. The whole evening, our wedding anniversary celebration, was a great memory.

    This was a wonderful fine dining experience. Our wait staff was exceptional, very attentive but unobtrusive. The staff was knowledgeable about the food being served and several had even tried some of it before. The selection of cocktails and wine left no stone unturned and there was something for every palate. The food was delicious and the presentation was artistic. We will definitely be back.

    Wonderful evening with friends! We started with caviar and champagne before the 4 course tasting menu. Lucky for us they were offering Truffles too. Ended our evening with bread pudding for dessert. Service from Gio and his team was outstanding!

    Cafe Monarch is very pricy but it is a special place with outstanding food, service and atmosphere. We chose the four course dinner, with each of us making our own choices for each course. Nearly everything was outstanding. Our one disappointment was the New Zealand rack of lamb. While devoid of the gaminess that I do not like in typical lamb, this was mild but also somewhat bland. Other than that, the meal and desert were outstanding. The service was impeccable and the ambience (we dined on the patio) was wonderful. If you want an outstanding dining experience and can afford a very expensive meal, Cafe Monarch is a place to go. We are both gluten free and almost all of the menu was either GF or could be modified to be GF.

    Everything was amazing! Every dish was absolutely delicious. We especially loved the tuna crudo, the pork belly, and the lamb, but EVERYTHING was fantastic. The staff is friendly and their service is impecable. We sat outside in the courtyard and the ambiance was beautiful and very romantic with all of the lighting and candles. Our only complaint is that the chairs outside are very uncomfortable. I noticed it right when we sat down but as the night wore on, it became more and more uncomfortable. We are from out of town and came here 4-5 years ago and loved everything about it but once I sat down this time, I remembered that I was uncomfortable last time as well. It obviously didn’t stick out in my mind as much as the other positives or I would have requested an indoor table to see if they were better. That is what we plan to do when we return on our next visit.

    I cannot remember a dining experience as perfect as Cafe Monarch. The servers were more like what you would expect in a well-trained private home, efficient and respectful. They treated us exceptionally well. The food was presented beautifully, and the flavors were exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Cafe Monarch to anyone wanting an evening far above the normal dining experience.

    This is truly an experience not to be missed. My husband & I brought our dear friends to Cafe Monarch to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. The staff was friendly, the service was spot on, the food was perfection and the ambience was magical.

    The best restaurant I have ever been to even though it is very expensive and can only afford it periodically. Our daughter bought the certificate so we celebrated our 58th anniversary there. All food was thoroughly explained to us by either our waiter or two other who worked together. White wine was chilled to perfection as it should be. To our surprise, dessert was on the Monarch. A very classy place and the people who work there know their job.

    This is our favorite restaurant anywhere. It is very pricey but always an interesting experience. We particularly like the wine pairing because they pour very nice wines that go with each dish. We were a bit disappointed in that there was a noisy large group at the table next to us. We asked to move and they obliged. The new spot was quieter, but still a bit noisy with a different large table near. us.
