Cafe Martinique- Atlantis Paradise Island
Beautiful elegant setting. Very romantic.
Excellent food . Excellent music . Excellent service. Was expecting more French cuisine but it was a mix. Still good
A wonderful dining experience!!! Ambience perfect; service outstanding; food served with a flare and cooked to perfection!!
We had a very nice evening. Food and atmosphere were great.
Place is beautiful but food wasn't great and definitely not for the price
Beautiful restaurant. Food superb. Service very friendly and attentive (if a bit unpolished ) for a restaurant with these prices. Would definitely go back.
Great restaurant - vibe and decor
We ate at Cafe Martinique a year ago and loved it. However, this year we were very disappointed. The food was barely average. The quality and preparation of the food was most disappointing. The prices are still very high. Some of the food was served too cold and some was not properly chilled (such as a salad). We had to send back several dishes. I would no longer consider this a fine dining experience, particularly for the prices they charge.
It was my husband‘s 60th birthday we had dined at this restaurant several times before and every time it is beyond amazing. The service is the best I’ve ever had and the food was absolutely delicious
Nathaniel, our server, was excellent, as was Tamar. Food was incredible- Mezze appetizer provided the carbs we needed after a long day in the sun, followed by the duck and tenderloin main courses. Delicious, and much more food than we expected from French/Mediterranean style restaurant. Lemon and almond dessert was refreshing, and a great palate cleanser; macaroons an unexpected parting treat. Wonderful piano player; Chef came out to speak to the table next to us who remarked the gnocchi was the best they’ve had, and chatted for 4-5 minutes; Bahamian parade marched by and our server took us out to the closed balcony to watch. Not sure how you can beat our experience.
Cafe Martinique is one of the nicest overall fine dining experiences in the Caribbean. Table Captain Hanford is one of the most cordial, warm, talented and professional people in Bahamian hospitality.
I made a booking long in advance for my wife’s birthday party with friends . An important criterion has been that they ask patrons for a certain dress code including jackets for gentlemen.
We were in for a very nasty surprise : a continuous flow of people dressed in all kind of clothes many wearing shorts and T-shirts !!!
People who being dressed like that did not care to speak and lough loudly generating an atmosphere of a campus canteen !
Due to this lack of filtering the huge salon was full and obviously the waiters were under a heavy load .
To cap it , before leaving I complained about that to the maitre d’ and he shrugged saying that they prefer to get large numbers instead of elegance ...
Favorite restaurant of this visit
Wonderful restaurant with great food and ambiance!
Food and service were excellent but too pricey!
Fabulous evening! Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful choosing a variety of menu items to try. Good wine list even though our first choice was unavailable. Got noisier as the evening progressed. Wonderful personal touches to our dinner and birthday celebration. Highly recommend. Best dinner experience on the Island!
Went there for my husband and friends birthday. Food was delicious.. had the sole and the escargot! Service was fantastic!!! Beautiful inside! A very special night!!
Fabulous. Incredible service. A favorite, for sure.
It was a great Valentine’s Day dinner date. When we got off the elevator, we were welcomed by a talented musician in this grand piano. We were seated by the window where we enjoyed the nice view of the Royal Tower & the beautiful yachts docked at the marina. We opted out of the special dinner menu & ordered the cracked conch for appetizer (yummy), spiced rack of lamb for my fiancé (I had a bite & it melted in my mouth), roasted Bahamian lobster tail that worked perfectly with the pinot Grigio that was recommended, the quartet creme brûlée (raspberry was a bit tart for me, Chocolate was a bit overpowering, the coffee was the BOMB & the coconut was also good) and tried the AMAZING coffee Nassau. Our servers were very attentive & friendly. Lastly on our way out I just happen to have a conversation with the pianist & next thing I knew she was playing the song from Phantom of the Opera, All I Ask of You 🎶. What a perfect night! ❤️
The restaurant's ambiance was nice and the food was excellent. The service was too good. What does that mean? A romantic/upscale restaurant meal at a michelin star chef's restaurant should be savored and enjoyed. Instead, service was way way too fast. We got our appetizer 5 minutes after ordering. As soon as we finished, a passion fruit sorbet was given to us. We finished that and 5 minutes later the entre was served. Great food, but was not planning on being in and out of this restaurant in 1/2 hour. A meal takes longer at TGIF. I am not sure that I would go back even though the food was great.
This is the best place in Atlzntis. Way better than Olives. Order the snapper or grouper.
The food was ok, but definitely not extraordinary or remotely consistent with the restaurant’s reputation. Our whole party (4 people) was unimpressed with the flavors and plating. The wait service was friendly and polite, but not overly attentive. The venue is beautiful but we all agreed that this restaurant felt tired and old.
If you on paradise island it is the finest restaurant with a low noise level Dover Sole outstanding
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. I highly recomend this restaurant. The bananas Foster should not be missed.
A very pleasant dining experience.
The food is not very sofisticated, but very tasty and it combines the french cuisine with the american one.
I’ll come back every time when travel to the Bahamas.
