Like everyone we had to have crispy duck fajitas. Excellent. Very generous portions and the presentation was very good. Facilitated making them how we wanted. A little snooping, and all the food looked good. Price a steal for Maui in a real little beach town a la Oregon coast villages.
Service was bit apathetic but ok.
Drinks seemed a bit off in their taste.
Nothing that would keep me from going back, and we certainly will return.
Crispy duck was unique and amazing! Would eat on anything.
When we arrived, we were able to select a table of our choice as it wasn't busy at all at 7pm. It did pick up thereafter.
The Crispy Duck Fajitas were great, as was the Burger. What I really liked was the Coconut Creme Brulee...nice, rich cold coconut custard with a warm, crispy layer of caramelized sugar.
Food and service were excellent. Great local flair.
Cafe Mambo was a fun find. Classic dishes with an island twist. My son loved his Mambo burger. My husband and I had the fajitas (tuna and local fish). The tuna was so good it was tough to want to put toppings on it. All in all it was a great value and excellent food.
One note - Pa'ia feels a little darker and less safe in the evening then other locations on Maui. When we go again, I will try to park closer to the center of town in well lit areas.
Delicious dinner in Paia. The service was great and the food was delicious.
It was our first visit to the restaurant and it is a casual fun location in Paia. Very casual and good food. Service was a little slow, but personnel were sweet and nice. Food was awesome and we had a lot of duck: Nachos with Duck; Duck Burger, Duck Fajitas and 1 regular bacon cheeseburger. Everyone loved their food. We will be back.
Cute quaint place! Super friendly service. Great food- loved the local fresh made French bread sandwich came on.
The steak and fish fajitas were amazing, even had enough for lunch the next day. The service was fast and friendly. The drinks were also very yummy especially the coconut vodka, pineapple with fresh lime and soda water. Must eat here.
Small place in surfer town of Paia. Good drinks, very good food. Mostly bar type foods, sandwiches , salads, burgers, quesadillas, fajitas. All were excellent and very fresh, locally sourced when possible. Friendly service. Gluten free options in fajitas and salads. Casual to very casual attire.
Food was good. Burgers are local beef. The service was good. Noisy location however so be prepared.
The Duck Salad was fantastic!
Pre-Maui Arts Center dinner spot. Attentitive host, fabulous food and easy in and out with a reservation.
