Cafe Luna at Ramada Inn Naples
Food was excellent. Had entertainment the evening we visited. Good value in a nice environment.
Friday night and the bar was lively and noisy. Music was nice but a little loud. Food was good and a good value. Kitchen a bit slow, but should improve before season arrives.
We are glad to see Cafe Luna back in Old Naples.
Very nice dinner special of prime rib.
good food and value, great service.
Layout is nice.
These are the same owners that had a restaurant on Fifth Avenue, and 3 failed attempts at a second location. Different chef, but the garlic knots were great. The salmon and spinach were good, although the portion was small, the chicken picatta had a lovely light lemon and caper sauce and the pasta was good, but the chicken looked anemic. It looked like it had been poached, so no color. With the pasta it was a colorless dish, although tasty, just a bit visually off. The garlic knots took 30 minutes, it took one hour to get the entree and the restaurant was only half full on a week night. Our server was a sweet gal and did keep checking with us, letting us know we hadn't been forgotten. Everyone's meals were coming out very slowly. The female owner was working the tables, although the male owner just sat at the bar. After dinner the owners and cook had a discussion about personnel issues within earshot of us, customers! They need to discuss business in an office or kitchen, not where customers can hear. The $40 dinner with wine, (although both of our dishes were upgrades), is still a deal, and we will give them one more chance, after they have been open a while. They had only been open 30 days and obviously are still working on issues. Loved that the Chef came over and introduced himself, asked what we had ordered and if we enjoyed it. Nice Touch! I think if the owners let their Chef run his kitchen and staff, they will be fine. The Chef seemed very knowledgeable. The ambiance will never be Fifth Avenue, but they are doing what they can with a very old space in Ramada. For an affordable restaurant for the locals, especially during season, this could be a hidden gem!
Food, service and entertainment were awesome! Will be going back for sure!
Cheers! Cafe Luna is back! We were heartbroken when they closed, and thrilled that they are back. The nostalgic pictures are back on the wall, and the food is just as great as before.
We attended a special event, so that might explain the crowd. Service was a bit slow, but the noise level was almost unbearable. I could barely hear my companion across the table, even with hearing aids adjusted for the circumstance. I would consider dining here again, maybe after the initial crowds die down a little.
Great for groups. Cheerful. Love the music. View of pool is nice. Bar is large.
Noisy compared to prior Lunas. Did not find it a restful venue ; maybe due in part to seating location.
WE ARE HAPPY THAT THE LUNA CAFE IS BACK AND THEIR VEALLY GOOD DEAL...GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD..
Cafe Luna always provides good value for the money. Its newest location is convenient to downtown and the beach. As part of the Ramada Inn, Cafe Luna has ample parking and a nice view of the landscaped swimming pool. The $39.00 special, two dinners and a bottle of wine, is a great deal. I upgraded ($5) and had the wild salmon dinner, which was delicious. We also added an appetizer (prosciuto, fig,and goat cheese flatbread), which tasted amazing. I also like supporting a local couple, who've remained committed to their dream despite less than ideal landlords.
