New owner and management did not affect the quality and taste of the food. We’ve been customers since Cafe LaHaye opened. One suggestion: BRING BACK THE BUTTER SCOTCH PUDDING!!

Absolutely outstanding experience—food, service, and ambiance were all top-tier. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the cozy, intimate atmosphere made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance—the space is small and fills up quickly, especially on weekends. I already can’t wait to return in two months to try the dishes I missed the first time. Pro tip: save room for dessert—the warm almond cake is a must. Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and fragrant inside… it’s the perfect way to end the meal. This place is truly a gem in Sonoma. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff at Cafe La Haye were wonderful and understanding, as we were running late and they accommodated us when we arrived. Our waitress provided some wonderful recommendations and the watermelon and arugula salad was delicious and refreshing. My husband really enjoyed the fresh tagliarini pasta and my risotto with shrimp was perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it will not disappoint.

Great reliable Sonoma restaurant with many years in town. Elevated yet not formal. You can quickly tell the focus is on the ingredients. Family run and continuing the tradition of excellence the original owner established (now retired). The owners today have not skipped a beat and were many year employees previously. Now open for lunch as well which is really nice to see. 40 years living here in Sonoma and this continues to be at the top of our list of recommendations for visitors who want to experience the real Sonoma.

Read many positive reviews beforehand but left disappointed. Ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it was well done, no visible pink. To the staff’s credit, they quickly brought another that was better but for a Michelin restaurant I was very surprised. Pork chop was also dry and tough. The almond cake dessert was dry too. Genuinely wanted to love this place but widely missed the mark and sadly will not be back.

Overall the dinign experience was good. The service was very good. The main concern was with the pork chop dinner, supposedly one of their signature dishes. My pork chop was sooo over cooked and dry, very disapointing.

We greatly enjoyed our return to Cafe leHaye to celebrate our anniversary. Waitstaff was friendly, welcoming, helpful with suggestions. The menu was a mix of new offerings and old favorites, including the famous butterscotch pudding. Wine selection was extensive. Absolutely no complaints!

Just amazing!!!! Service was impeccable food clean and to die for. Expensive dinner but completely worth every penny. We both ordered the salmon which just flaked away and was perfect parings with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Wine was so-so though it didn’t make a difference. Will be back on all those special occasions.
