The food was amazing. I had to Steak Diane, and they cook at tableside so it was fun. My husband had the salmon and he said it was the best he had. The staff Bringing your food is very friendly. Plenty of parking for you and the ambience was very romance for our anniversary. Great place for special occasions.

My husband and I went to cafe la cave for our first time this year for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. And it was everything we hoped for. From the ambience, to the service, to the delicious food everything was wonderful! I LOVED the feel of being in a cave ♥️

First I must say the food was amazing. Waiter not so nice. Drunk lady kinda ruined half the night for most of the people there on Valentine’s Day.

Unique cave room gave me high hopes. Service was exceptional. My husband ordered lobster bisque for an appetizer, and fortunately, our waiter let us know that a similar sauce comes with his seafood medallions, so he may want to order a different soup. So, I ordered lobster bisque and he ordered French onion. Little did we know that the same lobster bisque was poured over my husband’s medallions! For the price of our meals $$, I don’t think getting a freshly made sauce is asking too much. Using soup to cover the medallions seemed lazy and cheap. Risotto was meh, Chicken piccata was average. The spinach side dish was the best part of the meal.

Food was really good
Air quality very bad, poor ventilation with flaming steaks,
We stayed too long for the liking of the staff. Rude looks from servers, angry glare from manager on way out.

Due to a move, I have not been able to eat at this favorite restaurant for over 25 years. Despite the extensive remodeling, I was ecstatic that the original cave room and exquisite menu was unchanged. Bravo!

Food was good a little bland. Service was very slow. From the time ordered drinks to time of getting appetizer was over 40 mins. Then we had to inquire about how much longer it would be to get the main course. Lovely dark environment as far as atmosphere though.

We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday along with her very best friend. I had the bone-in ribeye, my wife had the steak diane, and our friend had the night's special which was a 6 ozs. filet and a 6 ozs. lobster tail with garlic mash and asparagus The food was excellent and the drinks were good, however we felt the server could have been a bit more attentive. I also did not like the fact when he was teliing about the specials without mentioning what the prices were. To top it off when the leftovers were packed away, the bus boys just scrap it all into the container rather than placing it neatly. They did comp. my wife an ice crfeam dessert for her birthday. Hopefully on our next visit, all the negative aspects will be gone!

The food was delicious and the service was good. Definitely a unique decor. Only complaint is that it can get a little loud in the room with the bar so close to the dining area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The seafood medallions were outstanding as was the steak Diane. The service was attentive but not intrusive. We had an altogether lovely experience.

Desert was a Ice Cream Brandy Alexander ....you would think we were in Wisconsin.
