Cafe Komodo in Prospect is garnering attention for all the right reasons with its delicious food, vibrant drinks, welcoming atmosphere and mystery location. One of Adelaide’s best kept secrets, you’ll find this modern cafe hidden down a laneway off Prospect Road. The cosy dining room and sunlit courtway are perfect places to relax with mates or family over craft beer, refreshing cocktails, hot coffee or an indulgent meal.     Wind your way down a narrow, leafy alley to this terrific eatery with a great retro/muso vibe. The menu's really extensive, fresh and varied and the services is spot on, prompt and polite. It was a Sunday afternoon and a guitar vocalist was crooning some lay back songs. Just right. What a gem. We will be returning.

    First visit 19 years ago, many visits later, Cafe Komodo was my #1 choice for my Mother’s Day Lunch 2025. It’s quirky, organic and unpretentiously homey. The staff are always welcoming and best of all REAL. The food fabulously fresh and cooked to perfection, generous portions and those of us with dietary restrictions are well catered for. Just simply, a great experience.

    Great place for brunch! Such an interesting setting and the passageway to enter just added to the mystical and carefree allure. Would definitely visit again!

    My wife and I had brunch it was absolutely amazing food and coffees were amazing we will definitely be back.
