   Most of the time, the service here is impeccable!!! Today, not so much, but it won't deter us from coming back!! Love this place!!

   Great little lunch getaway. Just a bit further out from Colony Square and you get to quieter restaurants with a staff that isn't overwhelmed by a lunch crowd rush. Great atmosphere, service, food, and as always, stellar dessert bar.

   We left after seeing their health department score. They received an 80 and were not in compliance with items such as "food temperature hold times" and "employee hand washing". Moreover, their precious score was indicated as a "C". Such consistently poor performance is an indication of sloppy management and was enough to scare us away.

   Noisy in the bistro area, but nice noise level in the "restaurant" room, but the seating is tight. You are sitting VERY close to your neighboring diners! Food will bring us back, not the seating. Good wine list; Sherry was an excellent waitress, making food recommendations, and showing up at exactly the right times.

   Desserts always pretty reliably good. Coffee great as well - especially the ones with alcohol in them. Service still an issue at this classic late night venue. Were told multiple times that our waitress would come, and she never did. We caught the eye of another waiter, he apologized and took our order.

   I live across the street from Intermezzo but usually refrain from going there. While their food overall is good, their service is just hit and miss (mostly miss). From the Maitre'd, who never welcomes you - he/she just blurts out "how many" when you walk up to the servers who you can never find. Today was no different, except for the fact that I had to send my food back twice because it was undercooked. The manager finally took it off my bill. My water glass remained empty throughout my entire meal, despite asking my server three times for a refill. I finally got up and went and found the area where the water jugs were stored and poured my own. Their desserts and coffee are delicious which is what makes it worth the hassle of poor service.

   The atmosphere of this place was beautiful and very chic, absolutely loved it. We sat outside and listened to classical music playing and just chatted about our lives. The decor was very stylish and reminded me of a French cafe. The lattes were AMAZING and the Nutella strawberry crepe I had was delicious! Will definitely be going back!
